California Flora Nursery is a delightful hideaway devoted to natives and habitat gardening, focusing on local Bay Area needs. It offers the best native plant selection in the area, with an extensive, clearly labeled, and very healthy inventory that includes a wide variety of beautiful propagations and more unusual, hard-to-find species. The enthusiastic staff is incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and extremely helpful. Plants are grown on-site with an emphasis on phytosanitary cleanliness. The peaceful, spacious grounds are navigable for all, with examples of mature plants flourishing in the nursery's own landscaping. Their website provides detailed plant descriptions and a regularly updated availability listing.
I went looking for all the right plants for a Monarch butterfly garden. They were so helpful and friendly. And had all that i needed plus more!
