“FINALLY a trusted mechanic in Elk Grove. I brought my 2017 Tiguan in for a 2nd opinion after the 1st shop I took it to told me to just sell the vehicle. They said the repairs were not worth the cost of the vehicle…. Which was false.
Got it contact with Mark— he assured me they would be honest about what’s needed for repairs & to let me know if it was time to let go of the vehicle. He got back to me quickly and let me know the common repairs I’d need especially on a 110,000 mile Tiguan.
He assured me the vehicle was worth reinvesting into. We did the following repairs:
-REPLACE WATER PUMP & THERMOSTAT
-BRAND NEW BATTERY
-REPLACE CLOCKSPRING
-REPLACE UPPER TIMING COVER
-BRAKE FLUID EXCHANGE
They got all this done within a week & we’re a breeze to work with. Mechanics have always been a stressful endeavor for me and these guys made me feel like family. I’ll be bringing all of my families vehicles here for future repairs. Give these guys your business!”
“Attn: Chrysler/Dodge/Ram/Jeep owners w/545RFE. If your transmission is slamming you forward after passing on the highway, go talk to Ron at Lodi Transmission regarding the valve body. After completing a pass, my Jeep would throw me forward and hammer the drivetrain when upshifting from 3rd to 4th. Dealer/Stellantis wanted to tear down the whole transmission, which I kept serviced and never towed with ( so made no sense). CVI tests came back good, so went with Ron's diagnosis and the transmission shifts smooth once again!

“Great shop. No appointment necessary. Shop owner was there before the shop was supposed to open. He pulled my truck in and answered every question I had. Shop and waiting room were clean. Was done and gone 30 minutes later. MUCH better experience than the shop I've used for the last 8 years. Took another vehicle in a couple weeks later and left it for the test. after being in the automotive repair industry for 25 plus years, I found it very hard to trust somebody else to service my truck.
Chris was highly recommended by many people I know so i gave him a call and he invited me to stop by i explained my issue and made the decision to bring in my truck knowing it needed a new transmission he gave me a quote and time line of completion
i received a phone call 2 days early when i answerd the phone i was expecting the worst how ever Chris was very excited to tell me he had everything completed and his total was less than expected
