Terrible customer servise. Smells bad. Toilet kept getting clogged up. I had to pay the $200 deposit twice just because i wanted to extend my stay. Only because i had to not because it was such a wonderful place i wanted to stay another night, because trust me its not. I had to go to the front evertime i wanted. To use my key because it worked 1 time and then next time i would go to use it it wouldnt work. I will never stay here again. The girls at the desk in the morning are very nice but ever other employee i had to deal with have absolutely no customer service skills.

I paid online with Priceline for my room. This place is a dump. Their card reader is down so no one can receive a room this is ridiculous. I recommend NEVER staying here !!!

Rooms are always nice and clean. The quality of the room for the price you can't beat. You get a mini kitchen & fridge. The bathroom is spacious, the showers water pressure is ?. Love the location nice & quiet with an AM/PM on the side for any late night munchies you need. Easy check in friendly front desk. Definitely coming back whenever in town and in need of place to stay

This was the most horrific and disturbing experience of my life. Jackie Rivas who was at the front check in was extremely rude and my consumer rights were violated. I was discriminated against and not treated fair. The most uncaring person to be operating a hotel and interacting with guests. I am severely scarred for life. I was treated like a criminal and discriminated against from the moment I walked in. I was denied a resolution, had my money stolen, violated as a human being and had the cops called on me and my 6 year old son along with the guy behind me who stood up for me had the cops called on as well. We were told we were “trespassing”. I was told my card was a prepaid card and that it wasnt a bank card. It is my bank card. I just used it for another Sonesta location in Irvine the night before. I showed the lady my receipt from that hotel that had the same card number on it the night before she refused to look at it. I showed her my bank account. She didn't look at it. Kept insisting it was a prepaid card. She showed me a binder with a list of cards not accepted by that hotel and mine WAS NOT in it. I don’t know why she even showed me that as a way validate what she was saying because it validated she was wrong. She insisted this policy was on their website and the website I used to book it. I have combed through everything and it is no where to be found. Again this IS my bank card. She told me if I put the holding deposit on that card I may never get it back. Knowing it's NOT a prepaid card I was ok with whatever she was saying. she clearly didn’t know what she was talking about. She then changed her mind and denied it again. She was very argumentative and on a power trip from the moment I walked in I felt uncomfortable with this lady. The gentleman behind me offered to put the $200 holding deposit on his card and she agreed it was ok. Then he mentioned how she was treating me was not ok then she took back the agreement she just made. I offered cash as well. At this point this is for just the holding deposit not for the prepaid room. She stopped helping us all together and was ignoring us. Called the cops. I asked for a refund and to be assured with a refund that I would have to call Agoda to get one. I had Agoda on the other line trying to reach her and she was ignoring their calls. She told me to first get a refund by calling Agoda and then simultaneously a minute later changed her mind. She was on a power trip and started taking back everything she told me. The cops came and escorted us (me, my 6 year old child, and the kind gentleman that just checked in and stood up for me) out for “trespassing”. She then even denied the kind gentleman his room and kicked him out of the hotel who offered to put the deposit on his card (After he paid for his room and everything). There is something very wrong here with this lady and how I was treated with my six year old child. I am ok being denied something. But she wasn't basing it on facts. And if you don't want to take my card for a deposit then just refund me my room so my son and I can go book another room. These rules are ONLY posted on a piece of paper at the check in window. Not online. And they think it’s ok not to refund guests. I will be looking into legal actions against this hotel for what they did. I am a single mother and this is no way to treat another human being. I was not offered any help or resolution. Do not book this place! They just take your money and can say whatever they want as their policy and will keep your prepaid room. This woman is evil and practices non-humane business practices in the hospitality industry. A single mother traveling with a 6 year old to a pre-paid room shouldn't have the cops called for “trespassing” and money kept with no resolution. Absolutely ruined my trip and will seek damages. Based on other reviews looks like I am not alone. I'm appalled.

It deserves less then one star. If you need towels you need to bring your dirties to the front desk to get cleans. Three of the people in our party went to the doctors today and found out we got bit by bedbugs. Stay away from here

I would give this hotel 0 stars if I could. The assistant manager, Eva, was the rudest person I have ever encountered, and I have traveled all over the country. They ended up charging us over $1000 for 3 nights when the room rate was $109. They also took I out a $200 refundable fee which Eva decided they could keep. They said they took companion animals with no charge, then upon checkout, they charged us a $75 pet fee because they said they don't take companion animals. I would never stay here again and would never recommend it to anyone. Save your sanity. I even called corporate to complain and they are investigating it further.

Honestly I don't know why the rating is so low. This has been my gf and i's fave place to stay at an affordable rate and they have a kitchen. They're front desk staff is always so helpful and nice. I love this hotel.

Terrible attention from the night receptionist with a rude attitude, for not wanting to give an extra set of towels for a 5-day stay. It is the first time that someone from the staff has this attitude, I have been staying here 4 times with my husband and the receptionists were always friendly until today. For those actions of the staff we will not return.

I can't say anything other than I'm disappointed. We booked with Sonesta from 7/24 til 7/28 for our first ever long road trip. Things happened on the way, and we had to change the plan to arriving on the 25th.I called them on the 23th to make sure that would be okay if we missed the 24th. I called to see because I know every hotel has different rules about that. I wanted to know if they would have a no show fee and cancel our reservation. I told them didn't care if we lost the money for the first night. They said it would be okay for us to do that. They never told us there was a no show fee, or they would cancel our reservation.After driving 10 hours to California, they told us that they gave away our room, and they were all booked up. They said there was no notes about late arrival when we literally called and asked. There was nothing they could do about it. Imagine already being so exhausted and having that said to your face. It was already 10PM. It took us 2 hours to find another hotel. I wanted to stay around the area where my family lives so bad. Also, you guys stressed us out so bad. Crying, stressing, and having a bad headache over a hotel was the lowest I ever was lol.I called them the next day since I was calm again, and the so-called manager still had the nerve to be so rude for no reason. However, after putting on hold for a bit, she apologized for the mistake and refunded me all the money for the reservation, no no-show fee. It worked out but honestly still so mentally exhausting for us at the time.Honestly, I feel like I have to thank you guys for canceling our reservation. The location was good, but the area was not. We ended up staying at a way nicer hotel and way nicer area, so I give you guys 2 stars for that. A night and rest wasted for no reason at all. I will never book here again, thanks.

**UPDATE TO THE OWNER RESPONSE **That’s a total lie. You guys are a scam! You scammed me of $419. I want a refund of my $286 that you guys stole from me. Do not lie. I called the very next day and there was already a new person in the room. There was no shampooing of this room nor is there of this entire hotel… don’t lie to people. This hotel has dog pee in every hallway the worst smell is in the stairs. 3 days of not using the room. That’s ridiculous! There was no smoking in the room of any kind. The only evidence that you guys found was taboo from a cigar in the trash can! That should not be a fine of $286. You guys are taking advantage of me and scamming me! This hotel goes for less than $100. No way I should have gotCharged $419!!!FILTHY!! SMELLS LIKE DOG PEE IN EVERY HALLWAY. If I could give this extended stay hotel a 0 star rating I would have. The elevators smell like pee it’s an area known for gangs and drugs. Expect to pay $7 for parking. They need to clean the carpets throughout hotel. If you roll a joint/blunt inside the room expect to pay $290 extra fee.. even if you don’t smoke in the room. I stayed here and I got charged in total $419 just because I rolled a joint and went outside to smoke it. Come on like I’m sorry my weed is so good that it’s so strong it smelt the room. Please believe that if I smoked in the room the whole entire floor would smell. There’s a security guard walking around the parking lot which is great.. but even though the security guard saw me smoking outside they still charged me $286 for not smoking in the room. I called and spoke to a couple people and explained what I did and they didn’t want to hear anything that I mentioned.. manager just kept talking over me and not giving me a chance to explain. Rolling a joint or not I still didn’t smoke anything of any kind in that room. They said they needed to change the filter in the room because of what I did.. they are taking that I little too far because the smell of my joint smelt way better than the smell of an old hotel room. I can guarantee that the filter wasn’t changed for a long time before I was in that room… but all the sudden they want to change it… you should have done that beforehand because the AC smelt so gross when it got turned on. Make sure you check your filters in the AC if you plan on staying here. NO WAY EVEN CLOSE TO A $419 HOTEL room. I wouldn’t even get charged for this at a $300 hotel room. Do not stay here! They will find anyway to charge you extra for anything. They said they have evidence of me smoking in the room but how can you have evidence unless you saw me physically smoking in the room and have a hidden camera watching my every move in the room. They also said they took pictures so I told them to send them to me but the manager kept getting loud n trying to talk over me and then hung up on me. I want the pictures and evidence of me smoking in the room.Safety: Not a safe area at all

Booked one night as a part of express deal by Priceline. The area isn't great, the entry door was locked at around 8 pm on Sunday night . Rang the bell several times to no avail. Suddenly the receptionist showed up in the room paying zero attention to me. I knocked on the window, she asked what I want (!). I said I need to check in, so she buzzed me in. Was given room next to the reception, maids, entrance etc They charged me $7 parking fee even though it was not mentioned anywhere when I booked. Smelly , stinky, musty room. Refrigerator did not work , when I went back to the receptionist, she rolled her eyes and said that it's impossible. When I asked to come to the room and see it herself, she vehemently objected saying that she won't go into a room alone with me (apparently suggesting that I am going to molest her) , Nice, I was suspected of being sex predator, got a stinky room, not working refrigerator and big mean lady at the reception desk that should probably be working in law enforcement rather than hotel.She (and this s... hole 'hotel' have no idea that they are part of HOSPITALITY industry). I doubt anyone at this establishment, including its managers have any idea what hospitality is. Just could not find another job I suppose.The bottom line-WORSE THAN ANY MOTEL I STAYED IN, seriously.The only reason I even considered them to be a part of express deal is that I stayed at Sonesta Select once and it was OK, I guest Sonesta Simply is 10 steps down the ladder.

Staff and service are nice and friendly, I appreciate that! The rooms themselves have a little kitchenette which is nice but that's about the only real plus. Everything else is pretty standard. No real complaints, the fitness center is pretty nice for a hotel, no ice maker at all.

I had a wonderful stay at Sonesta Simply Suites Anaheim. The hotel's location is excellent, providing easy access to Disneyland Park and other popular attractions.The hotel room was spacious, modern, and comfortably furnished. It had all the necessary amenities, including its own kitchen area, living room, and bedroom, to meet my needs. The cleanliness standards were very high, and the room was regularly cleaned.The staff was extremely hospitable and helpful. Whenever I had any questions or needs, the reception team was always ready to assist in a professional manner. Check-in and check-out processes were quick and seamless.The hotel facilities were also great. I enjoyed the fitness center and swimming pool, among other amenities. Additionally, the kitchen area in the room provided added convenience by allowing me to prepare my own meals.Sonesta Simply Suites Anaheim is an excellent choice for those seeking comfortable accommodation and friendly service. Staying here during a Disneyland trip is an ideal way to relax after a busy day. I was extremely satisfied and would consider staying here again in the future.

A Great Hotel with super.comfortable beds.. Excellent Staff. I would not hesitate to recommend to my family and friends. I have totally enjoy my stay here. Close to so many wonderful places to visit.
