First day coming here for the year , I had to get my blood work done and everything was smooth with checking in and waiting. The phlebotomist that withdrew my blood was really nice/sweet and maybe one of the best I've had to take my blood of the years I've been doing it !

So disappointed today. I've been a member for over 30 yrs and I've never had an appointment cancelled because I didn't answer a call to confirm. I don't know when this process started but this is ridiculous. I had a 1040 appt. Today and took off from work. Went online to verify time and the appointment was no longer there. I called the appointment line to find out that Dr. Kristin Nguyen office canceled it because I didn't answer their call. Very upset with no notification sent to my inbox or to my cell, but you'll text me for a flu shot, covid, etc. Unsatisfactory Now I have to reschedule another month out for the next available appt.

This is regarding calling in only. It is ridiculous that I have to wait at least 20 minutes before I can speak to someone every time I call in. I am my teenage brother's caretaker and have to call in for his controlled medication every month multiple times! Once to request the medicine to be authorized, another to get the medication filled, and then another to make sure they filled it! I am spending hours of my life every month to do this, not sure if THRIVE is about the patient but you guys are NOT thriving when it comes to providing efficient customer service. Please do something about this!

First time being here with my girlfriend for a puncture wound in her hand and we've been sitting in a room for 1 1/2 hours waiting for care. I don't understand how people can find Kaiser acceptable with this slow of a response no matter how short staffed considering other people were seen before us. If I could give a zero star review I would.

Really poor signage. It is not clear nor very legible which floor your particular provider is. Not sure why it's so difficult to have a large-lettered digital sign with your provider name and floor (if it keeps changing). Doctors generally knowledgeable and approachable. Pharmacy is crazy-busy like all others but staff is usually friendly and helpful. Thank goodness for the mostly shaded parking, avoids the car stalking.

NO Star - AVOID THIS URGENT CARE My review is for Kaiser Urgent Care only. I went to Urgent Care & they had me scheduled @ 2pm although based on the receipt I paid for my copay it was before 2pm. I've seen several patients waiting for me so I patiently waited until they started calling patients that were not before me. I checked the time and it's an hour already so I tried to get the attention of the nurse but she was snarky so I went back to the registry & she made a comment that the doctor I was assigned to was really slow. She then told me that one patient before me then I'm next so I went back & waited until I saw 4 patients were called before me again. I spoke with the nurse at the desk and she was surprised why I wasn't seen and she checked the computer and told me that there are 6 patients before me. I told her that the registry said that only 1 person. The nurse explained to me that it depends on whose doctor I was assigned to. I get that but I already spoke to the registration that she saw 1 patient then I'm next. So I requested to speak with the supervisor and the nurse said that she's on the phone so I waited again. She came back after 5 minutes and told me that the supervisor was still on the phone. So, I told her that nevermind I will just get my copay back at the registry. So, I spoke with a different lady at the registry & she saw my name that was listed to be seen IN THE NEXT HOUR AGAIN. Ridiculous! This is URGENT CARE. The lady at the registry phoned the Urgent Care dept again regarding the supervisor and that's when I heard my name being called. I said, "No, thank you. I am a very patient person but this is not right". I went to Kaiser Harbor Urgent Care and I was seen in 5 MINUTES. Big Difference!!!!!!!!! Attending patients should be according to who ever comes first. This is not ER where life threatening conditions should come first. This is Urgent Care.

I walked in this facility without appointment and had a pleasant experience starting from receptionist until I've seen the doctor. In less than 3 hours I've had an EKG, chest X-ray and blood work done with results for Doctor Tran to review. Thanks God nothing serious, other than a stomach ache where pain radiating to my back scared me of having heart/ lungs problems. Thank you all for being attentive, fast and reliable in giving me peace of mind!

If you can and are able to, avoid this location at all costs. It is a horrible location. I came to urgent care to be seen, but I had to wait 1.5 hours downstairs. Then they sent me up to the 3rd floor, where I waited another 1.5 hours. After 3 hours of waiting, I was told that it would be another 2 hours. The place is poorly run, and there is no accountability to patients. Avoid Garden Grove Kaiser at all costs!

One thing for sure is you know exactly what you get here and that's 1 star customer service. I have never seen an organization run so poorly and employees that could care less. This review is specifically for the dermatology dept and the lab. Jeanine, a nurse in Derm, is rude, petty, and a poor example of Kaiser as an employee. The lab is no better. They make you wait for an hour while an available lab tech sits at their station staring aimlessly in the sky for 10 minutes. The least they could do is come out and inform their patients there's a wait but they'd rather screw around with your time. Kaiser is a joke of an organization now and the administration staff is worthless.

Just wanted to echo what another reviewer said about ADHD and pain. I have been diagnosed with ADHD for over 20 years, and Kaiser has been nothing short of hostile towards their ADHD patients. Although I've tried many different anti depressants, mood stabilizers, etc, only adderall has cured my ADHD symptoms. In spite of this, Kaiser has tried everything to get me off the medication, and also referred me to a Psych who said she "doesn't believe adhd exists". Because of this, I now get care outside of Kaiser for this issue.

Kaiser might as well be named Urgent care clinic. After spending hours waiting on the call and being transfers to to 2 nurses, I was told there's no doctor available in the entire Orange County for a month and they suggested me to either go to urgent care/emergency or get an appointment a month later. Last time I went to the urgent care, after hours waiting, I was then told to make appointment with a specialist. I have learned that it's a joke and a waste of time talking to the nurses on the phone. They made me go through the same set of questions each time, over and over again then it always ended up with telling me to go to urgent care/ER! I only need to see a specialty doctor, damn it! The horrible cycle doesn't seem to end with Kaiser.
