I believe I spoke with Kevin who helped me pick out a wok. He gave me the pros and cons of each type of wok, and help choose a wok that suited my home cooking needs.
After three months now of using that wok Kevin recommended, I am very happy to say that the wok is still in pristine condition after cooking countless high-heat Sichuan dishes. I really love these independent shops like Kitchen Land and plan to visit again very soon!

This 주방나라 (Kitchen Land) is on the right side of Arirang Supermarket. The store looks small, but the main products sold inside are kitchen related products. The items are actually quite complete. It feels like a mini version of Daiso in Korea; 80% The above are Korean products, but there are also a few products made in Japan or China. Small items are not expensive and only cost a few yuan (cheaper than online). There are various types of indoor slippers, pots, pans, chopsticks and plates, cleaning supplies, storage boxes, and bags. Etc., they also sell cooking and soup pots, induction cookers, barbecue grills, electric pots, etc. from various Korean brands. I recommend it to friends nearby who have time to come and shop for goods ~

It's like miniature Kim's. They got literally every thing kitchen. good selections of kitchen essentials, mostly well priced. The owner and employees were very friendly and helpful. The only thing that I didn't like was how jam packed and narrow aisles were.

I love getting my Korean cookware, utenstils, ect. here. They have all of the authentic Korean cookware at reasonable prices and are good quality. I have been coming here as a little girl as my mom and grandma have always shopped here for their cookware needs. Because of this store, I can now pass on my family's Korean cooking to my children. This store has three generations of the Yoo family always coming back.

The good: This is a Korean house supply store with items for more than just the kitchen (i.e. bathroom too). I came here and bought toothpicks and several pairs of house slippers (they had many to choose from). Prices were really fair or cheap for everything. House slippers ranged from $5-10. The store is well kept and organized. I found many Asian kitchen supplies like soup spoons, a green onion slicer, noodle sieves and more. The bad: They didn't have any disposable buffet chafing dish tray holders or sternos burners. For the women's house slippers, there seemed to mostly only be two sizes (6-7, 8-9 ish). The interesting: Everything is stacked very high in the store. They definitely take advance of every wall space and their vertical vaulted ceilings.

The shop owners are so cute. They saw me carrying random items and told me to leave it at the register hehe. They are also very helpful in helping you find what you need. It's very tight inside but has great asian cooking essentials including plastic gloves, tableware, and rice cookers. The prices are alright, but really great for like cutlery. They also had these pan lid handle replacements which were a life saver and super cheap! Overall come here to satisfy your korean kitchenware desires and support a lovely small business.
