My dad had an appointment on February 3 at 11am for an ultrasound. He drove all the way from Irvine, arrived at 10:30 and was told the technician did not come into work that day. He did not get a phone call, text or email to let him know that his appointment would need to be canceled. This is absolutely the worst patient care I have ever heard of. This is a huge company and there is no policy or procedure to follow in an instant like this? We will be filing a complaint with his insurance and his medical provider. They should have 0 stars!

I came in to get some routine blood work done. Staff was incredibly rude and unorganized, they wouldn’t tell me how long it would take to be seen and just kept telling to wait. I waited over an hour and saw people who checked in after me get seen. I was being harassed while waiting by another client, and when I went to ask for my information back they wouldn’t give all of the papers back. It is also extremely unhygienic and the staff were disrespectful.

This place is so nice and amazing! The wait-time for walk in is long though, so I definitely recommend making an online appointment on their website. I made an online appointment for 1:30pm and came in 15 minutes early! Everything went well, I got in 1:30pm & the phlebotomist (Liam) I think that's his name did my blood works. HE IS SO NICE AND AMAZING! I told him that all the times I get my blood drawn, I always fainted each time! However, this time, he made sure I was relaxed & we talked about my day/life and before you know it, all my bloods were drawn already and it felt like a 5-10 minutes conservation. Thank you Liam for making sure that I didn't faint & getting to know me!!! YOU ARE AMAZINGG!

This Labcorp is very near to me. Usually I go to the one in FV, near the hospital. This is my first time here; it was a good experience. Don't understand why people are complaining about this Labcorp. Sure the wait was long for me; 1 1/2 hour since I'm a walk-in. The front desk staff do warn every walk-in about the 1 1/2 hour wait. They have a monitor with a list of names they checked in for lab draw. About the bruising when they draw blood. I personally think the gentleman who drawn 8 vials of blood from me did a fantastic job. It was only a pinch and there's no bruising. In fact, you have to look closely at the site to see the hole. This would be my go-to Labcorp from now on. No more driving all the way to Fountain Valley for bloodwork. Make sure you make app though. Otherwise, they'd tell you the wait for walk-in is 1 1/2 hour (it was truly how long I waited).

Went to go get a bloodwork done and was told that I needed to provide them with a credit card even though my insurnace covers preventative care? That made no sense to me, I went there in the past and they never asked for a credit card but now they do? I had provided them with it only because I had to take time off of work to come here though I won't be coming back anymore.

Great spot to get labs done. Arrived before my appointment time to see if they could take me early. Lady behind the counter was friendly and understanding and remembered my name. I walked in at 8:30 am and was finished and walking out by 9 am.

Lets count the Covid violations-More than 9 people in a room where it states 9 max.Various people waiting in a hallway without masks, yup that too. Sharing the same pen for all to sign in with, yup. This place needs to have a visit by OC Health inspectors!EDIT: I notice Labcorp didn't respond to this review, it is because they do know how bad the Garden Grove office is and they do not care. This labcorp goes by their own rules and often break CA State regulations.

This place is seriously beyond unprofessional that I am worried for their patients, especially the older to elderly population. My mom had an appointment for blood work and after she was done and had driven far to work, the office called her to let her know that her insurance is not accepted at their location. They apparently hadn’t checked beforehand and it was a location that she was given by her primary care physician. They told her that she’d need to come back to pick up her blood samples and bring them somewhere else or take the test again at another location. She was frazzled and didn’t know what to do since she couldn’t come back from work and didn’t know where to even bring the blood to. This is an example of a extremely unorganized system that has affected their patients’ healthcare. I told her that I’ve never heard of a patient having to pick up their own samples as that doesn’t seem fitting with safety protocols. Not only it was a waste of my mom’s time and blood samples, but she was tired from all that blood that was taken from her and doesn’t feel ready to go get her blood drawn anytime soon. I really don’t understand how they can operate like this.

The staff here aren't nice to clients, they working on WALKING clients before appointment clients. Really bad attitude on services, specially a Vietnamese guy who work on the shift at 3pm on Monday, 3rd October 2022 ( that we had appointment but we waited for 30 mins while the next clients is my boy the Vietnamese guy he take working client and ignored my baby waiting I was so mad about that attitude but I must keep calm because that guy will be only one who taking blood for my son so I afraid he had bad attitude the would hurt my son. That guy also look down on me because I speak English not as good as him, he also talk to his co-worker about my son and they thought I don't know that did they said )I can't believe that person can work on medical system. If they can't calm down or say something good to care about clients then just shut the mouth off.

This is a bad feeling. I have an appointment at 3pm and I arrived 20 minutes early to wait. The front desk staff are lovely, but the people working inside are extremely slow. they talk privately and work out of order. They take care of customers who walk in and let me wait while I have an appointment. When I asked, a man asked me to sit down in a chair to draw blood for my son. I said that my child is very scared. The staff member asked me if you were scared or was your son scared? You feel scared and then you assume your son is scared. By the time I sat down on the chair, my baby was crying because of the long wait. The staff talked to me. You can keep your son in Vietnamese. That's so mean when a man talks to a mother. He was curious if I could take care of my baby?

Check in is chaotic. You sign in and wait. I had an appointment and I watched as people came and went. This was expected because many had been waiting before I arrived. When I went to make sure they still had me on their list because I was now 20 minutes past my appointment, they had crossed off my name. They said they had called, nope, I was there the whole time. They had done this to several people which prompted me to check again. When I as called, they put me in a room and the tech came in soon after. He asked which arm I preferred, which I said either. He immediately tied it off and then started looking for a vein. I was surprised because everyone previously would try to find a good vein on either arm. He never checked. He cleaned the site and then poked. He moved the needle around and only got a minimal amount of blood. He then tried to find another vein above the tie and poked. He struggled and moved the needle around again. This time pressing down very hard. It was so painful that I told him to stop. He was oblivious. I'm no stranger to blood work but this was pure torture. He was way too nonchalant and didn't care if he did a good job or not. While all this was happening, they brought another patient into the same room and drew a curtain down the middle of the room. They were servicing both sides. Not sure what happened to HIPAA laws and confidentiality? I guess it's okay to disclose who you are and your birthdate to your new roomie. I refused the UA because I did not feel safe or respected. I would not recommend this specific site. There was no aspect that gained my trust or confidence. Other Lap Corps have been great, just not this one.
