Food was great but grossly overpriced. I paid over $20 for an omelet that wasn't worth $10. I wanted to try the buffet but didn't want to spend close to $30.

Pretty ok for a premium hotel but opportunities across the board for improvements. They have a chef for made-to-order eggs (scrambled/sunny side up etc)Chicken sausages were much better than the pork onesThe rest were ok but nothing superb.Surprise were the pastries - the crossiants were pretty terrible lolHit this if you are looking to start your day with something proper and substantial rather than just starbucks and a banana.Given than most are here for conventions and such the place is ok

We are staying here. The food is too pricey for the quality offered. Much better food options right outside within 2 mins walk and also cheaper.

They have an omelet bar which was good. The food was for the most part your typical breakfast buffet. Would have liked to have seen a few more options for the kiddo

We really enjoyed the TusCA restaurant and ate there for breakfast two days of our trip. Our kids really loved the Mickey Mouse waffles, and the buffet was very good as well. The staff was also very friendly.

Gorgeous place to eat in the lobby of the Hyatt Regency surrounded by glass windows. Outstanding service. Clean and fresh. Ate here three times in the four days staying at the hotel. Breakfast all three times and always the best…………….all three times. Breakfast buffet had a decent selection and the omelette station has the best vegetarian omelette ever and I’m not a vegetarian. Definitely eat breakfast here before leaving.

It's the most horrible place ever! And the waitress there are entirely lost their brain and heart too! They don't have any timely manner and are very rude. I made a to-go order, and they told me to pick it up in 40mins. I came back on time and told them I was coming to pick up my order; a waitress said she'll go in to check it out. And when she finally came out from the kitchen, she ignored me and walked away" busy" working on her casher and serve the other customers. I waited for her patiently for about 15mins until my kids said they were starving (they only got about 45mins lunch break for a long day of dance convention, and we had already wasted half of our lunchtime on this stupid waiting). I asked that waitress again about our order; she said without any facial expression, "there's some issue with your order, and we can't find it."That's it! It seems that's a very normal thing for her. I asked her why she didn't tell me this 15mins ago after she checked with the kitchen? She said it's not my thing, the waitress who helped you make your order off work already. How rude and ridiculous! I wish I had zero star option for the review. And that's the way they treat a mom on Mother's Day!

This is my 3rd time staying here at the Hyatt Regency. I had the pleasure to have Melissa as my waitress both weeks. It is so nice to wake up to her big smile in the morning. Nothing is too big or small to ask. No matter how busy or short staff it might be, my OJ or coffee never runs low. Thank you for always giving it your best! They are really lucky to have you.

We stayed in the Hyatt for Disneyland and ate in the restaurant for breakfast twice. The avocado toast with poached eggs was the favorite, but we also tried lemon ricotta pancakes, kid waffles, and kid scrambled egg meals. All were good. The pricing was certainly hotel level, but the food was good and the staff was nice. There were some drips falling into the restaurant from the ceiling 12 stories above in the rain, which was a bit disconcerting. Overall, a good hotel restaurant.

Decent food and great friendly service. Convenient place to eat a quick breakfast if you're staying at the hotel

TusCA has the great privilege of sitting in the lovely lobby of the OC Hyatt Regency, a beautiful open atrium with booming acoustics and natural light. We stopped for breakfast before checkout, in more of a convenience play, but didn't regret it. So let's clear the air - this is a resort restaurant and pricing was appropriate. Black coffee or orange juice were $4 (Starbucks is like 50 ft away and makes fancy drinks for that price), and breakfast plates are $15 on average. This was my only issue with the place, but at least we knew what we were getting into. Service was quick and our server was so polite, even bringing us iced water in covered cups with straws so that we could take it with us after our meal. Wasteful? Maybe. Amazing for travelers? You bet. Two eggs any style ($15) - Two eggs sunny side up, came with toast, potatoes, arugula, and a choice of bacon, chicken sausage, or pork sausage. I went with the chicken sausage, a light, notably sweet link that was all right. Overall, a cornerstone meal that didn't impress, but went great with strong coffee. A safe choice with questionable value. Avocado Toast ($15) - Three large scoops of avocado on arugula and toasted sourdough, topped with two poached eggs and sliced sweet peppers. The avocado was a bit heavy on the acid mixed in, but the dish as a whole was full of flavor and pretty generous. You just can't beat the ease of eating in the hotel, especially one as nice as the OC Hyatt. Good food, solid service, easy access, recommended.

We arrived to great service--quick to get drinks and order. The food came out at a reasonable time--one quick check on us after the first couple bites, which tasted great. Here we became forgotten. No one checked on us after we had finished--8 minutes of sitting with masks reapplied and napkins on our plates. My husband flagged another staff member down and asked for our check but by the time he helped, we were watching the shuttle drive away. 30 min to kill waiting for the next one unnecessarily. Had we been noticed, as finished, we could have been on it and waiting for 10 minutes to leave, instead.

The breakfast menu is sooooo limited. In addition, the quantity per order is somewhat small. The food quantity is reasonably good. The servers and Busboys are very helpful and professional.
