I have a loan document for notary public. Since I have many notary in Beach Bl Branch, but the notary was not come today. So, I went to Valley View Branch for notary, Mr. Gavin Johnson take my loan paper, then go inside 2 times, I do not know who he talk to, but he come out and refuse to do it for me. Then I go to Westminster Branch and done. No problem. Is Mr. Gavin Johnson only do notary for his client only? because on his business card also has Mortgage Loan License Number!!! If that is the case, then DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME TO GO THERE FOR NOTARY YOUR LOAN THAT YOU APPLY SOMEWHERE ELSE.

Sad to see this branch get low ratings. Unfortunately, people don't rate banks on yelp unless it's a horrible experience in most cases. I'm giving this branch a 5 star because of my experiences today with 2 different U.S. Bank branches. Prior to arriving at this branch, I went to the branch in Stanton on the corner of Beach Blvd and Chapman. I had deposited a large check on Thursday, January 24th to this Stanton branch and was told by the teller, Megan G., that the check will be placed on a hold until February 2nd and that if I needed it sooner than the 2nd, I could come back to the branch and they would do what they can to release the funds. I called the Stanton branch yesterday on the 30th around 3 PM and Jason or Jordan (can't remember his name but it starts with a J) says that he will do what he can and call me back before the end of the day with the results. The end of the day comes, NOTHING. Ok fine...people forget things and they are busy so I give him the benefit of doubt since I'm an understanding and patient person. Fast forward to today - the 31st of January - I walk into the Stanton branch and lo and behold, I encounter the same guy I spoke with on the phone sitting at his desk sipping his coffee and not even greeting me as I walk towards him. From the get-go he appeared disinterested in helping me. Whatever. I tell him I'm here to seek help in getting the hold on my deposited check released and to summarize the interaction, he pretty much told me he is unable to do anything to help me. He didn't even make an EFFORT. At this point, I'm flabbergasted and pissed because on the day that I deposited the check, Megan G. said that they would be able to help me should I require the funds sooner. He gave me some B.S. reasons as to why he couldn't help me. He even states that he isn't even able to get a copy of the check either (keep reading...you will soon find out that he's a liar). So I got up and left as he was just wasting my time with his excuses. He didn't even TRY to help...that's the part that bothers me the most. Lazy queens that don't do their job but will still take a paycheck. Anyways, I left the Stanton branch and came here instead because I have always had a pleasant experience at this location. Not sure what all those 1 star reviews are about but I like this branch. Lindy (I hope I spelled her name right; I think she's the Assistant Manager) walked up to me right away as soon as I walked in and asked if I needed some help. See...the start of the experience at this location is much better than Stanton's. I explain to her the situation and she immediately goes into research and she PRINTED OUT THE CHECK I deposited. That queen from the Stanton branch said he wasn't able to do it and the Stanton branch is where I deposited the check. Lindy pulled up a copy of the check and made some phone calls and she was able to verify that the check had cleared since the day it was deposited on January 24th! That hold was placed on my account for over 5 days and the funds were already released. Anyways...it's banking protocols...I get it. Kudos to Lindy for making an effort. I wouldn't have mind if she wasn't able to help me with positive results but at least she made an honest EFFORT to help me. That queen Jason or Jordan with the glasses made no attempts that Lindy made to help me. THANK YOU LINDY! Lindy and the Branch Manager of this team at this branch is the reason why I go back to this branch for my weekly banking activities if I ever need to walk into a branch. Thank goodness it's close to my business. The service here today is an exemplary model of what customer service should be like!

I'm only giving this bank one star because that is the only way I can write this review. My husband went into this bank to deposit a cashier check into someones account and was denied. The guy was really rude and told him he wasn't going to do it without the signature of the person who owns the account. Why would I need their signature if I am only depositing. I called to ask what the problem was since I have done it before plenty of times. He began to explain they do not do that at their branch and told me he didn't have time to talk to me about it and hung up on me. This is not how you treat customers!! We went to another branch close by and they did it will a smile on their face and no problems!!

I have been a account holder for over a decade now I am transferring almost all amount into other bank account. I opened IRA account being told that I would be able to manage the account online but later found it was wrong information and I have to physically visit for that. I decided to transfer IRA to other investor however US bank made it so hassle for me to claim my money back. I opened the account with wrong information provided and closed it by paying penalty and early withdrawal fee for being loyal customer and trusting banker's information.
