Gel manicure that I got here started to take off after a week.(FYI, I usually get gel nails every month and I know how long they stay on my nails, so it's not my nail problem.)How they dealt with the issue:I called them and asked for redoing or refund. I was not angry, I just wanted to fix my ugly nails. The staff responded very aggressively and gave me a very lenghty talk. The point of what he was saying was "NO" because he couln't assure that I was their customer. I could easily show him my credit card history but I gave him a staff who did my nails (cause it was easier). And then he said "we might give $5 discount"I don't think I will go back there for $5 discount when there's no guarantee that this time will be better. I ended up making an appointment at a different salon.I've never experienced this short life span of gel manicure. I am not an expert but the only reason I can think of why is old gel manicure they might have. (again, I'm not sure but that's the only reason I can think of). The gels that were taken off were dangling and scratching my skin so I tried to take off the gel with my hands and they all came off soo easily. I'm so shocked how light they were attached to the nails.So just don't go. Poor result quality with poor customer service.Service: Gel manicures

The staff was very welcoming and able to communicate efficiently. The prices are decent and the quality of work is very neat as for as I'm concerned. My tech did a great job. I will frequent this nail salon.

Unfortunately, after years of being a regular customer at this nail salon, I have to say that I may not be coming here anymore due to the incredible lack of customer service by MIMI (co-owner). She has a very bad attitude and after kindly trying to be nice and conversate, she continued to be rude and make smart remarks while she was working on my nails. She will literally stop working on your hands if you are not positioned or "relaxed" the exact way that she wants you to be. I have never had a nail artist push my hands around or tug and push at them. I am always very shy, kind, relaxed and follow instructions of the nail artist, BUT after asking MIMI to please tone it down, she became very argumentative/ irate and decided to raise her voice at me. This was very unprofessional of her and I kindly asked for someone else to help me instead, she continued to try and argue with me after I told her that I did not want to be helped by her if she was continuing to be rude and with a negative attitude. She continued on to making a scene and saying that I wasn't "listening" just because I did not understand when she asked me to move my hand ONCE and she became impatient. While deciding what color I wanted, I asked for her suggestion to which she replied, " I don't know what color, what do you want?" Overall, very terrible customer service, I would not recommend to go to "Mimi," if you look through the reviews below, you'll find ALOT of complaint about MIMI.

I absolutely love my nails. Mimi is truly a sweetheart. She took her time and made sure my nails were narrow and semi coffin. I cannot wait to try other nail designs. Follow her on IG: @mimi_ugly (although she is really pretty). THANK YOU MIMI

Terrible service!!! I went in for a fill, the tech filed my nails so thin without adding any acrílic and my nails broke the same night. ?the fill was not blended to the existing nail. ? The pedicure tech was upset when I kindly declined to upgrade the service. She rushed me out of the chair and was hostile. ?Services: Acrylic nails

Terrible service! I went in for a pedicure and fill. The pedicure technician became upset bc I didn't upgrade to the package she wanted me to select. After i kindly declined she didn't speak to me the entire process and rushed me off the chair. . The nail technician only added a small amount of powder in the fill area, plus she filed the rest of my nail to get them even out with the fill. A day later six of my nails broke. . Do not come here!

I came here and got my nails and toes done. Gel polish on both. The polish smeared. Had to come back and get it redone. Right after that, an acrylic they replaced popped right off. When I came back to get it repaired I sat there and watched them take another customer in front of me. I'm not wasting my time there again. I brought my client there too. They just lost 2 customers. You can't treat people like s*** and expect them to continue doing business with you! Go anywhere else but here!

Mimi is the best nail artist in the Southbay! All hand painted and very quick. No one is as amazing as Mimi. Don't forget Tammy for your Pedicures. My feet love her !!

I’ve been coming here since before COVID and they honestly never disappoint! The owner John and his Wife Yen have made sure to hire amazing nail techs who are professional but are also patient especially since I’m always coming in with my very wild 2 year old at times who can be a handful but everyone there is very kind to her and makes sure she’s comfortable and still gets my nails done and looking great !!!Services: Dip powder

The owners Mimii and Johnny don't care about their customers. Good service starts from the ownership and Mimi is a poor example. Please read other reviews for Vina's Day Spa (her old salon), she has a history of unprofessionalism. I was loyal to Mimi for years. I always arrived on time and tipped her well. Even during COVID I went to her house to get my nails done - I was a good customer. Mimi is completely disrespectful and unprofessional. I have watched her yell and harass many customers. She has always been snappy and cold with me, but I tolerated it because I liked the way she did my nails. Often when she was doing my nails she would get mad at me if I wasn't holding my hand the right way. If you are even 1 minute late she will call asking where you are. Mimi has zero customer service. She just yells at her customers - it's obvious she hates her job and is truly unhappy. She is an aggressive and problematic business owner who does not know how to run a business especially in the service industry. She handles situations like a child and doesn't respect her customers. She is decent at the job, but it's not worth being treated like s**** Mimi if you are reading this, I want you to know that YOU ARE REPLACEABLE. I've already found another nail technician who is respectful and appreciates my business. I will no longer give Mimi and Johnny my money when she treats her loyal customers this way. I've witnessed her yell at many customers. I've seen people storm out of her business - not the experience I want to have. The salon environment is stressful. No customer deserves this type of treatment. Take your money elsewhere where they will respect you. ALSO - the pedicures are mediocre and rushed. I would always leave feeling disappointed with my pedicure experience. Find another salon where you will get the treatment you deserve.
