This Hertz is extremely slow and rude. Avoid this location if you can. The woman at the counter was openly talking trash about customers she didn’t like, even using profanities where people could hear. Customer service is terrible and they don’t have enough staff at the counter.

An associate told me that even though I work for Lyft that I need full coverage and extended protection. So I had to go all the way to Anaheim location to rent. Very deceptive and misleading practices for the commission.

They are real scammers. They gave me a car with a 35% charge and then took an extra $50 from me because I didn't return it with a 70% charge. Stay away from this branch.

This Hertz location is an absolute nightmare. I’ve rented here twice, and both times were a complete disaster. The cars they hand out are filthy, stink horribly, and have disgusting stains all over the seats. It’s embarrassing that Hertz even puts these vehicles on the road.
The staff is even worse. They are arrogant, rude, and completely unprofessional. Instead of helping customers, they give wrong information, talk down to you, and act like they couldn’t care less. The attitude is beyond unacceptable.
To make it even more insulting, one of the cars I got was an electric vehicle with a battery so degraded that the range was basically useless. Totally unreliable for anyone who actually needs to drive for work. It’s like they set you up to fail.
This place is a disgrace to the Hertz brand. If you value your time, money, or sanity, avoid this location at all costs. You’ll walk away frustrated, angry, and wondering how this place is still allowed to operate. Easily the worst rental experience I’ve ever had.

Terrible experience, waited an hour to get to speak to someone for a reserved rental, when the car was brought back we were told everything was good and an hour later got a call about a smoking fee. Not a person in my family smokes and no matter didn’t receive any resolution or any real customer service.

I had a very disappointing experience with Hertz. After returning the car on time and in good condition, I was surprised to find a smoking fee charged to me, even though I don’t smoke and never have.
When I asked about this fee, the staff was unhelpful and rude. They didn’t listen to my explanation and acted like I was lying. It felt unfair and frustrating.
The whole return process was stressful because the employees treated me disrespectfully, and they seemed more interested in charging extra fees than helping customers.
I won’t be renting from Hertz again, and I don’t recommend them to anyone who expects honest and respectful service

My Experienc
This was one of the worst car rental experiences I’ve ever had. After returning the vehicle on time and in excellent condition, I was shocked to see a smoking fee charged to my account — even though I have never smoked in my life.
I contacted customer service to dispute the charge, but no one seemed interested in listening or resolving the issue. I was treated as if I were lying, which was incredibly frustrating and unfair. I always make sure to return rental cars clean and in good condition, so this accusation was completely unacceptable.
On top of that, the staff was extremely rude and unprofessional during the return process. It felt like they were looking for any excuse to add extra charges. There was no transparency, no courtesy, and absolutely no respect for the customer.
Bottom Line:
I strongly do not recommend Hertz, especially this location. If you value honesty, professionalism, and fair treatment, look elsewhere. This experience was deeply disappointing, and I will never rent from them again.

I have had 0 issues renting from here. They workers were extremely helpful and broke everything down for me to make sure I understood everything. The car was ready and cleaned when I arrived

Rented a vehicle for 2 days. When we returned they found a chip on the windshield. We ended up not using the car and drove it less than 2 miles, didn't hear a pop or the sound of anything striking the windshield. They would have charged us for it but we did buy their insurance or they said it would have had to come out of our pocket. This is not an advertisement for their insurance!!! When a car is not being driven or treated in a negligent manner, why should the renter be responsible. Be aware that this can happen to anyone at no fault of your own and you will have to pay for it if it happens while you happen to be renting the car.
