During my one-week stay in Torrance, I had some free time the day before I left, so I went around Santa Monica and the city, and then used it as a means of transportation to the airport on the day I returned.

I used Uber to get around during my stay, but it costs about $35 to $50 just to get between West Hollywood and Torrance, and about $35 from the airport to Torrance, so depending on the time of day, distance traveled, and frequency, you may have to use Uber or rent a car. Because of Covid, a few things changed there and to my surprise In order to rent a car at Sakura, you need to do a reservation ahead and the Gardena office is only to pick up. However, the friendly staff was very helpful and I was able to rent the car there and save my vacation and my transportation needs. The car was clean and ready to roll. I was even provided a map, even though I told the lady I didn't need it since I know the area, but she suggested to me to have it in case of an emergency. My last time there was six years ago and the next time I go to California I always rely in their service. Thanks again and hope to see you soon

It did not look like it was open at first. Once we entered, the staff was friendly and took care of my in-laws. They are Japanese speaking and had vehicles to use. Nice place, would use again.

Very nice and friendly. I admit it did not look open when we arrived, but it is open 7 days a week. They speak Japanese for my in-laws and have a newer selection of cars.

Huge scam artists! Almost my whole family rents cars from this place constantly. The Gardena location is friendly, and professional. But the LAX location is why my family will never rent cars from this place NO more! The manager told us one thing about return customers, and now they are saying something different. They just want to squeeze as much money out of you as they can now. I hope y’all go out of business!

It was cheaper to rent here. The car runs well. The male receptionist exhibited poor customer service skill but the female was professional. I would rent here again.
