Very bad service at the cash registers where you pay

Did not enjoy this Sam's Club. Parking spots are too small. People were arguing in the parking lot. They have cones to block off access to the first parking row so you have to go all the way around. I was waiting for a parking spot, blinker on. Someone drove up to the cones moved the cones and took the spot I was waiting for. I was honking as they were moving the cones, they didn't care. Everyone saw them and was shaking their head at them. The inside is not clean, the produce looks old and they have low stock on a lot of items.

This place is so traffic when it's busy. Has what I need and the Scan n Go app feature is the main reason why I shop here rather than Costco. So Convenient. I'm scanning all my items on my iphone, paying on my iphone while walking straight to the exit, skipping all the long lines. Very cool.

One of the worst Sam's Clubs. Have very few registers open knowing very well they have long traffic lines for each lane. Very slow. Lines just to scan receipt before exiting are just as long cause there's only ONE person scanning. My usual Sam's store usually has 2 people & 2 lanes (maybe something to consider at this location). This place needs a more faster environment given the traffic that comes thru.

Worst wait time for Curbside pick up. 40 minutes this last time! Ridiculous! I've heard bad things about it before and still decided to try it out, never again!

Worst bakery. They treat customers like they're stupid. always saying we cannot take orders for this weekend because we're full. It Monday today and my order was for Saturday .always saying "Sorry we are out of that. Sorry we cannot icing." Always so unhelpful. They are lazy. I get so mad knowing that I have a local Sam's club and I to drive miles and miles to get better service. Today I went and I just asked a simple question , the lady said she couldnt help cuz all Sam's club are different I was like "different cakes, icing , flavors?" She like well we're different they were so difficult or she was difficult but it's not the first time ... few times, and I've heard so many other stories from others from the same location.Other Sam's clubs bakery ARE NOT like this one.

Sam's club curb side pick up has been seriously letting me down lately. I checked in at 3:07 it is now 3:40 and I don't have my order. I was better off going inside. I love the store, love the prices but I hate waiting so long for my orders.

I have had horrible experiences with fruit at the Sam's club in Gardena. My last experience was so bad I wrote corporate about a month ago and have not heard anything. When you have bad fruit, they make you drive all the way back wasting gas and time. This last time was the last straw. I sent the pictures below. No response from anyone. I gave up instead of driving all the way back. Horrible service from Corporate and horrible service to have to drive all the way back and stand in line to return a below $10 item.

I am concerned by what appears to be the selective enforcement of a security policy at the club in Gardena, CA. Although these clubs are ~7 miles apart, the demographics of their membership differ dramatically. Members utilizing curbside pickup at the Gardena club are required to present their driver's license upon arrival while those at the Torrance club are not. This is consistent. At no time have I been asked to present my driver's license at the Torrance Club. In fact, when I presented it to the staff members, they told me that this was unnecessary. Nor is this required at Walmart or the Walmart neighborhood grocery store, which I also frequent. The enforcement of this policy at the Gardena club reinforces the perception that black/brown patrons require an additional level of scrutiny. The unwarranted and unfair criminalization of people of color is an affront to the entire community.

Imagine buying pizza and within 10 minutes it's ready. However, you have to wait another 45 minutes for an employee to put it in a box and give it to you. That sums up the experience here.

Apparently you can't use your SAMS CLUB Credit card to buy a restaurant gift card. Pay for a membership apply for a credit card but you can't use it here makes no sense.

I wasn't going to do this, but I just had to. So I've been going to this sams club for years. Even before it was sams club and it was pace. I mean, I remember my pops going when it was pace, as i was preteen at that time. When I was old enough I even worked here for a couple of years. It was when I worked here that I was taught the importance of customer service. After all, it is a members only store and keeping members happy and satisfied is what keeps business going. So it surprises me and quite frankly disappoints me on how things have changed. They do not hold up to the same standards. For the past couple of years, their customer service has been crap. Slowly getting worse. But I still came here out of convenience and frankly it became habit. I've been going here for years so it's sort of like a tradition almost. Every Sunday, sometimes Saturday, we will have a Sam's club day. Yesterday was a regular Sunday. Went here for the necessities. Stocked up on protein and double/triple of everything. An hour and 3 baskets later, 2 transactions totaling to over a grand was spent. (2 transactions because you're limited to 50 items on the scan n go feature on the sams club app) (for those who doesn't know, scan n go is, it's exactly what it sounds like. You Scan your own items, pay online and just go. No need to stand in line to be checked by an associate. No waiting in line, no one touching your merchandise, simple! One of the reasons why I like sams club) Anyways, we racked up a huge ticket, and we were ok with it because we wanted to use a new CC for the points. Lol I inputed the CC info into the app as a new payment, and completed the transactions. Yay! After a Tetris game in the parking lot (trying to cram all our purchases) we headed home. Not until everything was put away did i realize that the the new CC wasn't used for both the transactions. Instead another payment option was used that may or may not give me an overdraft. (SMH) so before it was too late, I contacted the store to see if there was a way to switch payment methods. I selected to speak with member service. Someone answered, but before I can reply hello back, they placed me on hold. 15 min later they finally came back on the line. I told them what happened and they put me back on hold yet again. Another 15 min pass and she returns letting me know that the only way to resolve this was for me to bring back ALL the items and refund them, and then ring them up again using the correct payment. But it had to be done the same day as it was purchased, in which I had to hurry because they closed early on Sundays. All of that was understood, but what I wanted to know was if I had to bring all the items back or was I able to collect the same exact items from the store so they can scan them instead for refund. She then puts me back on hold. (Urgh) I never heard from her again. She must've gotten lost somewhere in the store.... We're 45 minutes into the call and I proceeded to hold on because at this point I really wanted to see if someone was ever going to come back on the line at all. And hour and 15 minutes later and with my frustration through the roof, I finally gave up. After I hung up I decided to call the store back, someone answers and to my surprise did not put me on hold. That tells me that not everyone was as busy or that the girl that was "helping" me, left on her brake or where ever but did not pass down the information that there was actually someone she left on hold. I was livid. Simply fuming!!!! Of course I had to speak with whomever was in charged. I feel like I should bring the issue up with their general manager instead then maybe perhaps everyone can be re-taught customer service. They are gravely in need of re-education. Or...Maybe I should just cancel my membership and just continue to only go to Costco. I don't think they appreciate our business anyway.
