I came in the store and shopped with no problem using my Sam's Business (Black) membership card. I ordered a Pizza using the app and was #73. After waiting 20 minutes I asked how much longer for #73. They said they didn't get my order so it would be another 30 minutes. To not take up any space with my big trolly of groceries, I took them to my car so that I wouldn't be waiting over 30 minutes for my pizza and my trolly unattended. I have my receipt and my mobile order on my phone to show them. I was told by Security that I was not allowed to come back inside to pick up my pizza. He was Black Male in his 20s with dreadlocks and a security uniform on but no name tag. So I had to go to customer service to ask for a refund for my pizza I was waiting on and had paid for. When I informed management that I was denied re-entry I turned to point out the person that gave me the hard time and lied and he was gone. I waited to see if he would come back to show his face and he didn't. I looked around the parking lot to see if I could find him and he was gone. I don't need this type of harassment and power hungry dramatic young person treating someone that is handicapped with stress. I am clearly a veteran with my clothing on and I am clearly handicapped and park in the handicapped spots, yet was given a hard time over a pizza I paid for, showed the receipt for.

My first experience at Sam's Club Gardena was unfortunately far from satisfactory. As a first-time visitor to Sam's Club, I had hoped for a smooth and enjoyable shopping experience. However, upon arrival, I was met with disappointment as the store seemed overcrowded and chaotic. The long lines extending through almost every aisle made navigating the store nearly impossible, ultimately leading me to abandon my original purchase of oxtail. Frustrated by the lack of organization and overwhelmed by the crowds, I made the decision to take my business elsewhere. In contrast, competitors like Costco offer a more streamlined and efficient shopping environment, making them a preferable choice for those seeking a hassle-free experience. Overall, my visit to Sam's Club Gardena left much to be desired, and I'll be hesitant to return in the future.

The food court doesn't accept tap to pay such as apple pay with your phone and I waited 10-15 minutes in the line. I am SO mad at them who never installed the tap to pay.should of put signs while I just got in line What a waste of my time and maybe yours. So know you know that they don't take apple pay ect.

I have been a member of Sam’s Club for years. It is the only gas I use and I primarily visit the Gardena location. Most of the staff is so nice and helpful as I am in a wheelchair. On tonight 1/30/24 I encountered an older lady I have encountered previously, I do not know her name as she doesn’t wear a name tag, it never fails that she is rude and questions why I can’t get my motorized wheelchair out and pump my own gas.

This location is by far the worst! I came here to buy a couple of gift cards and had to wait in line for the register. Gift cards can't be purchased at self checkout or via scan and go. I waited 45 min! As I was waiting for the register I noticed another long line to leave the store. I was shocked at how horribly inefficient this store is in moving customers. Never coming back to this location.

Let me preface first by saying this club often has what I need and scan and go is a total time saver. That being said, the product selection at this Sam's could be a little better and more consistent; sometimes items move or simply stop being carried--like celery? If they have it I haven't been able to find it in years. The staff, when you can get their attention are generally helpful but I cannot say shopping here is fun. I pretty much avoid asking staff questions because they all look stressed or tired. The store itself is often packed and people don't watch where they're going as they talk on their phones, leave their carts blocking aisles, or drag around multiple children (who are also not paying attention to what they're doing). This is both INSIDE the store and OUTSIDE in the parking lot. The gas station is another pain point at it clogs the only traffic light going in and out (there are actually 2 other entrance exits but they're not at traffic lights and people will often go the wrong way in 2 of them). People waiting for gas will often try to cut each other off and will also not pull all the way into open lines (because they're always try to the get to the first pump instead of the the soonest available pump--I don't know why). All in all, 99% of the frustration from shopping here will be from other customers behaving poorly but I don't know if there is anything Sam's Club can do about that (well they could do more at the gas station--the staff could direct cars to alleviate traffic like they do at Costco instead of acting like they're only there if a pump malfunctions). When this place is busy, it's stressful to go through its parking lot. It's stressful to be inside. And I'm 100% discouraged from buying alcohol or food court items because I can't scan and go (and the lines otherwise stretch from here to the moon). I have used their pick up service a few times though and that has been quite nice to pull up and have them load purchase into my car directly... though sometimes parking in the designated pick up spots can also be tricky with people ACTUALLY parking in those spaces. Again, other customers are the bane of shopping here because they can't read signs or ignore them. If you can avoid going in, shop for pick up or delivery.

Went there to buy gas for the first time. Luckily I went right after the store closed so there weren't many cars in the parking lot. The way they have their gas pumps situated is not user friendly. If it had not been for the store being closed already, I'm almost positive I would have left and got gas somewhere other than Sam's. Disappointing the Sam's club in Torrance doesn't have gas. The next closest Sam's with Gas is the Long Beach Town Center which is not close at all. I know real estate is hard to come by so I doubt any of this will be resolved. It is very unfortunate.

Placed an order online. Said it was ready. Showed up, checked in and waited 50 minutes and not one thing came out to me. Going back to Costco. At least they know what they're doing and hire more than 1 person to work.

I used to work at this place they have the worst manager. Her name is Carrie. She’s horrible she treats people horrible I genuinely think she’s very racist I don’t care. she doesn’t like to keep her hands to herself. Her and the big boss like to basically make threats towards the employees. If they don’t get credits, they will get a write up or termination so if you guys shopping this store, just know, the employees are very much suffering, but we had to keep a smile on our face or that’s our job. Oh, and managers talk really nasty about the customers bad!!!!!!!

The scan and go and pick up are great services!!! I usually only wait 5 minutes for the pick up order. It's really fast and they make the experiences great.

Why have an App with the wrong hours for the gas station? It says 6:00 am (on Saturday. Gas station opens at 6;30 am everyday. How hard is it to update the hours? When asking the rude attendant on 10/21/23 “you have to bring that up with management man” don’t you work here? Why don’t you bring it up to management? i will call management because this is a problem.

Just went in to sign up for their membership and was greeted with horrible rude attitude. The lady who help me didn't even look at me. She just stared at her computer and the first thing she says is "Yeah, what do you need?" with attitude. Is that really how you greet a customer...? Asked her about membership and she just answered back with one word answers. She then proceeds to tell me to go on their website if I can get a better deal on there for membership. I asked her about how I receive my card, membership number etc and she just kept giving me answers like she was annoyed. You're working in "Member Services" department! I just gave up, walked out and went to Costco. No wonder Costco as business is so much better in all aspects...
