? my representative Mr.trayshun and Mr.kevin Miss L and the u-Haul team representatives are all to the highest caliber very intelligent found solutions made adjustments very friendly very patient willing to hear you out completely it is truly the best representatives I have had the pleasure of speaking with. there are many agents they are all wonderful. I just need to mention that because it is a great team! But I would like to see all my representative from my phone conversation and in person to be recognized. I would like somebody to personally thank them for me one more time because I am not in that building or the work place to do it myself. so I ask you please give them many thanks and of course, the managers and supervisors also need to be recognized. The rep didn't go over the gas policies with me. As per other car rental services, gas tank is usually filled when rented, however the gas was near empty when I was renting this UHaul, so I had to add gas before driving it. The bill was a total of $111.22. I used less than 1/8 of the total tank would have been $13.90 gas. When I returned the UHaul, I noticed that this wasn't taken into account for the bill, and asked for a total reimbursement of the gas that I did not use. This would be equivalent to $97 gas money that was just given to UHaul because no rep went over the gas policies with me. I have reached out twice to customer service, the first time they asked me for a receipt, and I told them I had to find it. Then they said someone from their team would call me. I did not receive a phone call. I reached out again to customer service and provided them with the receipt they asked for, however now they are saying they cannot refund me. This whole experience would have been avoided if the rep was clear about the gas policy. But regardless, UHaul shoud have been at least willing to reimburse partial if not all of the extra gas I gave them.

Their customer service team is phenomenal. I didn't rent a truck but I ordered an exhaustive amount of moving supplies - boxes, tape, furniture wrap, china packing boxes, wardrobe containers, etc. My mother passed away and I had to pack her 3 bedroom, 2 bath home.

Knowledgeable staff and very adaptable. I was not able to access the truck they originally booked for me and they quickly pivoted me to a new truck and got me in my way. Donnis helped me check out and also took my follow up call to answer a quick question on my drop off location. He is very knowledgeable and took care of what I needed.

I came to pickup moving supplies for my daughter. Troy was so helpful. He found all the supplies and helped me get them into my Honda Fit. Troy was amazed that everything would fit in my little car. He carefully arranged all the items so they would make it home. Troy was thoughtful, patient, knowledgeable, and made the entire experience more pleasant.

A perfectly pleasurable experience. It was obvious from the beginning that your employees love what they are doing! when picking up a trailer I dealt with Don who made my day. He was pleasant, professional and helpful. The man who returned the trailer for us was friendly and just as pleasant to deal with. Uhaul should be proud of this team. Traysean I've been using U-Haul trailer rentals for the better part of a decade and typically rent trailers of all sizes every other week over that time. I have not run across anyone more helpful expedient, kind, and customer service oriented than Traysean in of my time working with Uhaul. I hope that management sees his work ethic and dedication to his duties. I am always impressed with the amount of effort he puts in to his work particularly on days when he is the only staff member on the ground managing eight or nine individuals needs at a time.

Customer service is HORRIBLE. Gave us the truck with no gas but we have to return it with more gas than what they left it with? The truck smelled and was so dirty.

I had the most horrendous experience at U-Haul in Gardena. I made an online reservation for a truck, only to arrive and find out they not only didn't have my reserved truck, but they gave it away to someone else! They claimed all their trucks had issues like stolen parts and no gas. The wait time was excruciatingly long, comparable to the DMV. This location desperately needs a corporate intervention. Avoid at all costs!

Spring on roll up door was broken. Struggled to open door, then door would slam shut. No anchors on left wall to anchor or stuff down or across to order wall. Inside the trailer smelled like cigarette smoke. Left blinker light went out on trailer few days into reservation. Overall appearance of trailer was in disrepair and was below average for any of the previous rentals I've had from U-Haul. Considering different location for future rentals

Rude staff when I came to pick up a trailer to tow my car. Assured me that the trailer was available and they completely ran my card. Only after driving over to where they keep the trailers with the lot attendant do they discover that it isn't there.. all I got was a Welp. Will never return to this garbage location

Stacey was so nice and not only helped me carry my boxes to the car but he also helped me figure out how to make them fit in my trunk/backseat! He went above and beyond! Also their prices for packing supplies are better than a local "u-haul neighborhood dealer" that I stopped at first!

Absolutely horrible and unprofessional.Got a van for $20 and got charged $200 for crazy amount of miles I couldn't possibly do.I went on U-Haul website and booked a van near my house in Redondo Beach to move a few items to my new place to lower the cost of movers. My reservation was changed to a location 5 miles away, although there are other U-Haul locations closer to my house. If you don't have a truck available and you can't provide another truck then don't let me book it at all. Instead of putting me in the position where I HAVE to move and I now have to waste time to drive to another location.I have tried to check in on the app, it let me go through all the step with uploading pictures of myself and my DL but then it asked me to scan a QR code to confirm the location. I went inside and asked employees where to locate the code. Nobody knew, so I stood in line to complete the process. Perhaps before you implement any digital tools you have to make sure your employees are trained on how to use it as well.The van smelled REALLY bad, to the point that I had to take a bath and wash my clothes as soon as I got home. Very strong sigarette smell was following me everywhere. Steering wheel was sticky and I haven't seen anyone wiping anything after trucks were brought back. I understand this is a moving vehicles and standards of cleanliness are probably very low but also again these vehicles are used for moving and people get dirty. I would imagine wiping a steering wheel will prvide some protection even for employees.No gas in the vehicle. If I am renting a vechicle I expect it to be in a drivable condition with enough gas so I don't waste my time on doing your job.The location doesn't track miles on vehicles and relies on customers to do so. Got overcharged for ridiculous amount of miles that is impossible to complete within 3 hours per physics laws on our planet, especially considering the fact that I had to put gas and I had to come back to this U-Haul location to pick up keys that I left in my car.Unprofessional employees. Rude and incompetent. Instead of investigating the mileage issue they quickly brushed it off and blamed it on me. The person with common sense will pull the renting records of this van and track the mileage before they tell the customer it is your fault and you have to pay $200 for miles I couldn't possible do. I also don't appreciate when someone talks to me like I am child and stops me from expressing my conserns with continues M'aming. Perhaps instead of shutting me up you should listen to what I have to say. Perhaps you should be a little bit more curious and instead of saying this is what it is you should pause and raise a question, investigate. Yes, it is an inconvinience and extra work but this is what you get if you don't do your job of tracking miles on time.I would stay away from this location but if you have to make sure you are not getting scammed. They only have one job, to provide vehicles to those who want to rent them. This is what they get paid for. This is their job to maintain vehicles, put gas, check mileage and train employees and they clearly couldn't care less about any of it.

Multiple times this location has provided us with equipment that is dangerously behind on maintenance, broken, or both. For example, the tires on our latest truck were terribly old and two of them blew out on us on the road. We had to wait hours for road side assistance. In another recent rental from this location we were given a truck with the gas on empty, the oil light on, and literally no oil (dip stick was actually dry). Luckily we caught these problems before anyone was injured. The poor service and lacking maintenance not only impedes the customer needs but endangers the customer and others in the vicinity of the equipment. We have also had to wait 45 minutes to get our truck AFTER we were checked in; regularly have to search for our truck ourselves when the “person outside who will help” is no where to be found or is not helpful; and almost always are given a truck with a quarter tank of gas or less. We are with a school organization that rents a truck weekly to move equipment for student activities. We have canceled all of our future U-haul reservations and will be using Ryder or Penske from now on. We have found that Penske especially provides clean, safe equipment and excellent customer service.
