This post office has a thief and they are not doing anything about it. This post office has "lost" 2 packages of mine within a couple of weeks and the USPS won't take liability for their own employees stealing packages so all I can do is avoid sellers that ship through USPS because they cannot be trusted to deliver packages. Both packages were delivered to the Gardena post office but had no updates thereafter.

They lost 2 packages now. The 2nd time I got the receipt and the box hasn't moved in 3 days. They lost it is there claim but I bet someone is stealing....Don't come to this post office, convince is not worth their service. Go a 5 miles away to another Post office.

I had an issue with something i sent my mother over the mail paid almost $60 to have it received within 3 days took well over a week. My mom went to the post office since they claimed the addressee was unknown at the stated address. Taylor at the office was so rude and unprofessional on the phone. I had my mom put me on speaker she stated I did not provide my moms correct address and all of this was my fault. Btch please how was it my fault you have a lazy delivery driver who doesn't want to get off his truck and walk to the apartment or leasing office to deliver it? Sorry I made him work since they're so used to just leaving the packages at the boxes outside where people can and have stolen them. After retrieving the package she saw that not only was the address written in permanent marker and on the signature confirmation slip aswell proceeds to tell me she's not there to argue. No wonder the post office is slowly loosing business thus why they charge extremely exaggerated prices.

They are very active. Packages are processed on a daily basis. Unlike Torrance's, they have a delay of a day or two in processing cheap packages such as First-class .

Every day the posted lobby hours say 6am but the doors are never open. Some days they don't even unlock it until 7am. Why have posted hours when you don't follow them? That's terrible customer service.

An certified letter containing bonds was sent to me. The tracking shows out for delivery. I have never received it, it was sent April 3rd. The carrier denies receiving it though it was scanned out to him. This is not the first time something of value has not been delivered by this office on Redondo beach Blvd. I once worked for USPS, theft by employees is not unusual. They have to have the postal inspector's (USPS police) monitoring them in the distribution center. The carriers are worse. Don't have anything of value delivered through this post office. There is a very good chance you will never see it. FedEx, ups, anything is better than the thieves operating out of this station. Be sure to file a police report to document your loss should they not deliver something of value that shows that it is out for delivery. This is the only way we can prove that there is a pattern of theft of mail that goes through this station .

There is a pattern of lost mail containing valuable items contained in reviews of this post office on Redondo Beach Blvd. A certified piece of mail containing bonds was sent to me, tracked as being out for delivery, never to be seen again. It was not delivered nor stolen after being placed in my mailbox. There was no pickup slip. This office said they don't know where it is. Their own tracking said their carrier had it last. I had a police report made by the Gardena Police Department. If you lose mail containing a valuable item, especially from this office, please make a police report. It is all too common that mail containing items of value are lost when it goes through this office This is the only way we can document mail stolen by usps employees at this station. All they have to say is that a package or piece of mail of value is lost then they are in the clear. They basically have a license to steal. Let's take action to clean up this office. I once worked for USPS, theft by employees is a lot more common than you think.

As good as a post office is going to be. There could be a lost package or long line here and there, but most of the time this location is well staffed and has decent service. UPS loses more packages than US Mail in our experience and UPS doesn't let you talk to anyone anymore. So we've found the US Mail to be the better service so far.
