About Dru Barner Campground
Dru Barner Campground is a quiet and affordable outdoor spot that offers a simple and rustic camping experience. It is mostly an equestrian campground, welcoming both horse owners and non-horse campers. The campground provides plenty of space for tents, motor homes, and horse trailers. It is located off a one-lane road, making it feel remote and peaceful, especially during weekdays when only a few campers are present. The area is great for riding into Otter Creek and exploring nearby attractions. Facilities include clean restrooms and garbage cans, although there are no water hookups available. The latrines are kept clean but can sometimes be stinky. The site is dog-friendly, with many visitors bringing leashed dogs. The terrain can be dusty, and the surroundings have lots of horsetails and burrs, which may be a concern for some visitors. The campground is open year-round, and its proximity to town provides easy access to gas and supplies. Overall, Dru Barner Campground offers a budget-friendly, quiet, and scenic place for outdoor enthusiasts seeking simple camping close to nature.

Have stayed here about five times and it's hard to find a better campground for the price. Bathrooms and garbage cans. No hookups or water available, but I didn't need that.

We park our trailer here and ride down into otter Creek usually several times a year… We have stayed here but onlya couple of times . Always quiet except for big weekends, like Labor Day etc. Good facilities, ton tons of corals for horses lately the water has been off though
