The stock is limited and messy, but they have most things you'd need, so not exactly a bad Best Buy. You'll more then likely find what you're looking for here, provided it's not something rare or no longer sold. They are reducing their sales of physical media and games too, so now there's fewer reasons for me to even shop here.

Nice store, nice products... good luck getting someone to help you though. I was walking up and down the isles looking for a specific item, a couple of employees seen me from a distance but no one bothered to come over to see if we were doing ok.

1-10-2024 went into best buy Gilroy Jesus' spent quite a while with us helping us with information about tablets. We decided to purchase 2 tablets with a screen protector for each. Jesus was awesome by the way. When we were paying for our purchase we were informed that there was only 1 tablet and 1 screen protector in stock. So we took the one of each, and they ordered one of each to be sent to our home. We took the screen protector and the tablet to the front to have one of the geeks install the screen protector. Apparently the screen protector was defective so the geek said he would order one and we should come back in two days and he would install it. So we scheduled an appointment for 1-12-2024. So the 12th comes around and we go home from work pick up the new tablet and the new screen protector that we purchased and brought it to our 4 o'clock appointment. We arrived 10 minutes early and had to wait for 30 minutes. When it was finally our turn, we explain the situation. A different geek helped us by taking the tablet and the screen protector that were delivered to our home into the back room to install it. Meanwhile, one of the young Shan men at the register was tasked with the job of finding the screen protector that was delivered to Best Buy . So approximately 20 minutes later and four other clerks later, all of which were looking on the computer for the screen protector. They informed us that the screen protector was delivered to our home. they told me that a number of times they told me that the one screen protector that was ordered for us by Best Buy was delivered to our home. I told them that the screen protector and the second tablet that we ordered were delivered to our home. There was no other packages from Best Buy. They told me yes that screen protector was ordered by Best Buy to replace the defective one. I said I purchased one tablet and one screen protector and it was ordered to be delivered to my home and that is the only one that was delivered. So they go back to the computer. Finally, they come back again and say oh you're right for some reason the order that was placed by the geek two days ago was canceled so the other screen protector to replace the defective screen protector was never ordered. They said will order one and you can come back and have it put on when it gets here, I asked them if they could call me and let me know when it came in so that I didn't have to waste a trip there again. They said no we're too busy with big orders we can only send an email. So it this point I am thoroughly disgusted then they tell me that the screen protector they have ordered won't be in for a week. So my end result is I still don't have the replacement screen protector. But I have learned that in the future I will not purchase items at Best Buy Gilroy. It isn't as convenient as you might think. The Gilroy store is apparently too small of a business to carry more than one of any item at a time. As much as I love my home town. I will shop in San Jose or online in the future.

Easy parking. Well lit store with helpful staff. We have bought dishwashers, computers, tvs, and cellphones from the store. Browse online, find what you want, and pick it up or have it delivered. In case of a new dishwasher, we went to the store to see it and talk to staff about it before purchasing. Have it your way.

I just bought a new tv from Best Buy, I was very pleased with the sales staff who were able to answer all sorts of technical questions I had. I had them deliver my new Sony and a sound bar and install it. We love it!

Not ready within the hour after ordering online as described and no time frame available when you call or information. Customer service notifies you it will be ready "sometime" today and we will let you know when or if we get it today. Do not trust the online process if you need something fast.

I bought over $2k in items the guy was ho helped me very polite and convinced me to buy protection plan and membership so that way no questions ask if things break or malfunction they will fix or replace no questions ask. Well 7 days later one item broke, I come in the same polite guy now totally the opposite attitude and said sorry we can fix or return it. Call the manufacturer see what they said. I asked so you knew this was going to be the case and sold me something I didn’t wanted he said sorry is that how it is.. so Dont waste your money.. Dont let them convince you.. I learned my lesson again, I though this times was going to be different.

Chris in TV/Audio is one of the best! Walked me through the latest TV technology and audio components seamlessly. Chris was trained by Brandon who I worked with during the pandemic 2020 so I'm not surprised of his great customer service skills and attention to detail. Best Buy's "Geek Squad" is nothing more than a marketing tool that does nothing to deliver on actually providing technical support. After waiting 2-weeks to have a Sonos Port installed, the 3rd party "tech" shows up and says he can only do a basis "sound bar" installation and cannot help me. So, I call the Gilroy store directly. After listening to music for 5-minutes, someone picks up. I ask to speak to someone in their onsite Geek Squad an am then transferred to an off-shore technical support person, not someone in Gilroy. At that point I'm told I have to visit the store to speak to someone locally. My advice is to never buy any product from Best Buy that you cannot install yourself. Go to a reputable retailer who offers local support.
