Brooks Brothers in Gilroy is my goto outlet for brand apparel. I refresh my wardrobe every season at this outlet store. Shopping is always a 5 star experience. The store is clean and tidy, clothing racks are impeccable, organized and all sizes are stocked. I require the help of SA's to set up my dressing room with my selections. The SA are experts in the brands style, range and fit. I can always count on a honest opinion from the SA by recommending items to keep and items to ditch. I can always score great sales bargains on special occasion apparel at the Gilroy location. If you require work apparel that ups your game, BB Gilroy outlet is where you need to shop.

Saw some reviews mentioning the manager being rude to the employees, I have also seen this on multiple visits, makes it awkward as a customer.Also, im waiting outside with another customer 30+ minutes after the store should be opened.Overall, not a well managed store.

Terribly rude store manager - he spoke rudely to his staff and the customer all in one communication. Exhibit 'a' for how to lose customers and brand reputation.

Jan 2023 - FYI Google maps hasn't updated the map pin location for navigation. The address is correct (suite A19), but the map pin is for the old address in the B-block. The new location is next to Marc Jacobs and Hanes. If you're coming from Leavesley, make a right on Camino Arroyo and then a left inside the shopping plaza.

Brooks Brothers has always been my first choice and a favorite apparel store more than two decades.It was 1818, at the age of 45, Henry Sands Brooks opened H. & D. H. Brooks & Co. on the northeast corner of Catherine and Cherry streets in Manhattan. 1818 is one of my favorite shirts that I wear.Brooks guiding principle was,"To make and deal only in merchandise of the finest body, to sell it at a fair profit, and to deal with people who seek and appreciate such merchandise."After his passing, in 1833, his four sons, Elisha, Daniel, Edward, and John, inherited the family business and in 1850 renamed the company "Brooks Brothers."In 19th century, Brooks Brothers was one of several prominent clothiers to manufacture clothing using cotton harvested by enslaved people.BB has outfitted 40 of the 45 American Presidents.United StatesPresident Ulysses S. GrantPresident Theodore Roosevelt were fond of Brooks Brothers' clothes. Many more presidents, including Herbert Hoover, Chester Arthur, Franklin Roosevelt, John F. Kennedy, Richard Nixon, Gerald Ford, George H. W. Bush, Bill Clinton, and Barack Obama were known to wear Brooks Brothers clothing lines which speaks volumes of its flavor.Winthrop Holly Brooks was the last of the family who ran the company. Thereafter the company was acquired by Julius Garfinckel & Co. Although Winthrop Brooks remained with the company as a figurehead, after the acquisition, John C. Wood became the director of Brooks Brothers. Brooks Brothers announced in August 2020 that it would be purchased by Authentic Brands Group and by SPARC Group LLC (Simon Properties Authentic Retail Concepts Group LLC), a joint venture between Authentic Brands Group and Simon Property Group. I wish the brand produce more stylish products.
