I just bought a new tv from Best Buy, I was very pleased with the sales staff who were able to answer all sorts of technical questions I had. I had them deliver my new Sony and a sound bar and install it. We love it!

Not ready within the hour after ordering online as described and no time frame available when you call or information. Customer service notifies you it will be ready "sometime" today and we will let you know when or if we get it today. Do not trust the online process if you need something fast.

Best Buy's "Geek Squad" is nothing more than a marketing tool that does nothing to deliver on actually providing technical support. After waiting 2-weeks to have a Sonos Port installed, the 3rd party "tech" shows up and says he can only do a basis "sound bar" installation and cannot help me. So, I call the Gilroy store directly. After listening to music for 5-minutes, someone picks up. I ask to speak to someone in their onsite Geek Squad an am then transferred to an off-shore technical support person, not someone in Gilroy. At that point I'm told I have to visit the store to speak to someone locally. My advice is to never buy any product from Best Buy that you cannot install yourself. Go to a reputable retailer who offers local support.

My time here was disappointing. The employees seems uninterested in assisting me and lacked product understanding. The variety was restricted, and I had difficulty locating a dryer that met my requirements. Furthermore, the prices were higher than I had observed in other stores.

We went to Best Buy to look at some phones Marc took care of us he set up. Our phones answered all of our questions if you ever looking for a phone go to Best Buy and ask for Marc five star employee.

I came to Best Buy to purchase a new washing machine and it was a mixed experience. On one hand, the staff were knowledgeable and helpful in explaining the different features and options available. However, the store was quite crowded and it was difficult to get the attention of a salesperson. In the end, I was able to find a washing machine that met my needs, but it wasn't the most enjoyable shopping experience. I would rate my visit to Best Buy as three stars.

Dumont Rudisel is the Sales Advisor at BestBuy Gilroy, CA you gotta try and look for when updating to a new iPhone. This gentlemen went above and beyond his sales responsibilities. Don't get me wrong, I shop at this BestBuy all the time, and the entire staff truly know their stuff and always happy to help, they got a great crew at this BestBuy. However, Dumont really was a true professional to his craft! I had gone to the T-Mobile next door to trade in my iPhone and the poor guy didn't know much about what he was talking about nor the deals offered, nor did they even have the phone I wanted in stock. I took a few steps next door to BestBuy and not only did Dumont get me into a new iPhone 14 Pro Max 1 TB... - but he got me the extra BestBuy insurance that - FREE APPLECARE!!! - and did a data transfer phone old iPhone to new iPhone, secured all my data and pics - and when my new iPhone was giving me issues because Apple phased out the SIMM card and my phone wasn't dialing out, Dumont jumped on the phone with T-Mobile and got me online ASAP. What my service provider failed to do, Dumont at BestBuy knocked it out of the park like a boss! The whole staff at BestBuy, Gilroy, CA rock.... Fist bump to Dumont Rudisel.

We bought a computer at this location a few months ago and the computers hdmi plug ins stopped working, we had a warranty so we took it in to geek squad to get it fixed! They said we could not get a replacement and that we had to send it out for two weeks. They said for the meantime we can buy another one and they could transfer all our information to the new computer,they required that we need to give them all our codes to the computer and the computer cloud as well ! We we're hesitant to do this but we need a computer while the broke one was being fix so we gave them our access codes. Ever since that day all our bank accounts have been hacked, they opened up accounts in our name , tried to get out retirements , tapped into all our credit cards even into iPhone cloud. Causing havoc on our lives. Beware of geek squad in Best Buy Gilroy with your computer and information.

We bought a fridge/freezer from BB 18mths ago and invested in the Geek Squad protection plan, which we now desperately need to use as the freezer is dying. We got an appt inside of a week (which was great!), and I received 2 texts confirming the appt during the week. However, today they no-showed on us - no call or text! I just found out that the only Repair fellow has been out since Thursday with Covid (sorry about that). No calls to their customers letting us know though, so I'm thinking that I'll call the store manager to voice my disappointment only to find that you cannot call your BB store directly - ALL calls go to a central pooled service team. I understand the model but if my store is too busy to talk to its customers, we are ready for a new store. 1 star for today's terrible customer service : (

So far my experience with this store is very positive. The only reason why I cannot give a five star is you have to hunt for someone to help you, but once you got a hold of someone, you're set.

If I could have given this store zero stars I would have. ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS. My husband and I had to search for someone to help us and when I did it took them quite some time to help. Employees would rather talk to each other about their weekend plans or just walk around with their head down looking at their phones or just walk by without acknowledging their customers. I will never go back to this store again. Not to mention the cashier was lost and had no idea about anything in the store.

This Best Buy is pretty terrible. I needed to replace a laptop and had a question about whether there any graphics drive compatibility issues with a monitor I'd recently purchased. Sales wasn't able to help, and Geek Squad said they don't actually know anything the products (literally). I thought Geek Squad provided tech support but apparently they just do password resets and windows installs.

I'm so over this place. Maybe I can get an answer here! I CAN NOT get ahold of anyone at the store. I ordered a tv with mount with delivery and setup. I got a call from the delivery guy who said my stuff is setting in the Merced location. He came from Salinas. I keep getting lied to from customer service. First they told me my stuff had already been picked up. Then I was told there was a manufacturer delay. Both were a lie. I still don't have my tv, not to mention I've already waited a week. I can not get any answers.

Some of them are racist to Asians. This is main problem in this country and this city, Gilroy. The guy with beard head looking like Persian and White mixed were very rude on checking out. (Not saying anything like hello or thank you at all even ignoring when I say something to him.) He should know his attitude will fall down the quality of his race.
