Tried to schedule appointment via phone & computer, neither worked; they need an option for additional help when their automated voice system doesn't understand spelling or there's a problem with information entry.

If I could give zero stars I would. I was a walk in and I wish they told me from the beginning I had to wait until a no show. Instead they lady working there told me that she didn't know how long I had to wait but if sign in the system will tell me. I got there at 11:10 and when I signed up it told me my appointment was at 11:40 - I decided to wait. At this pint there we no patients waiting at all. It was just me. It was 11:40 and someone came in and got their blood drawn. I waited until 11:55 to go ask what time will my turn be because at that point she took another patient that just walked in. I assume it was ok to ask since I though that person had an appointment too. Then she told me I had to wait until a no show even if the system told me my appointment was at 11:40 and she wouldn't take me until a no show. If she told me that from the beginning I would have made the appointment online and I would have still got and appointment by noon.

My daughter and I had to go dor blood works at Quest Diagnostics on Wren Ave. in Gilroy. I'm WARNING all walk in patients not to go to this Quest location. Phlebotomists take time doing one patient. Didn't really care how long the walk in patients wait. They should just put a SIGN on their door that they don't accept walk ins rather than make them wait FOREVER. We arrived in the lab at 10:00 AM and one of the phlebotomist explains to the walk in patient that is waiting that it will take more than an hour wait time because they have to go to lunch (and it's still 10:00 AM). Both the 2 phlebotomists are explaining the same thing to each of the walk in patient that comes in. I was lucky enough to be called after 45 minutes of waiting and I notice that phlebotomist also register the patient before drawing their blood. This is very time consuming. I used to go to Labcorp and patien's registration there is at the front desk. It's very convenient and fast. But according to the QUEST plhebotomist "it gets chaotic if they do it that way". I also work in a clinical lab in a hospital. Registration is different from the lab and it's not CHAOTIC. Our lab has STARBUCKS card and very apologetic when a patient waits. This lab, they DON'T CARE about the patient waiting. The three walk in patients that went there this morning all left. The last one was my daughter that left at 12:10 PM. She was never attended even if she waited more than 2 HOURS. It's a good thing that she didn't FAINT because she was fasting. Very inconsiderate phlebotomists.

It is so cumbersome to make an appointment and then save the confirmation number and to cancel is worse. Go back to real people or shorten or change your program.

Today I took My son to get blood work and I got to say It was a great Experience.Katie was the nurse in charge , She was talking to my son while she was working on him he is in the autism spectrum she was so patience with him I loved it.and she also helped me get he’s insurance card number she was awesome Thank youKatie?

the lady who took my blood was a total sweetheart. i usually have trouble w them finding my veins but she did is so easy and it was completely painless. i forgot to print out my lab report and she went out of her way to help me figure out another way. would recommend

Easy scheduling, short wait time. The nurse was very competent and pleasant. Overall, I would be happy to come back to Quest again if the need arises.

Doctor ordered urgent labs for me, needed them done ASAP. Showed up at 10:25 and joined standby list via the kiosk due to no appointment times available on such short notice. By 10:40 I was the only person in the waiting area. When the staff finally noticed me they told me they don't take people without appointments past 10:30. I tried to explain I was there for a while and I was told "I haven't seen you all day, either way it doesn't matter. We don't take people past 10:30 without an appointment." I tried to say "I'm not arguing but I was here before 10:30". I got interrupted and again told "it doesn't matter we don't take people past 10:30 without an appointment."I was literally the only patient in the place and there was still 20 minutes until closing time at 11.Zero compassion. Poor service. I am in disbelief.

I have been going here for several years. The head lady Danielle is amazing and accommodating to me. She makes sure I have everything I need to make me comfortable during my draw. She is the sweetest and makes the process so quick!

The staff was very courteous, and answered all of your questions perfectly. The waiting room was very clean, and maintained the 6-feet rule when it comes to Covid. They adhere to all of the guidelines for Covid-19.
