Hire cashiers!! 2 lanes open 10+ deep of people! This seems to be the new norm for Walmart Gilroy. Add that their bathrooms are normally disgusting makes this for a pretty unpleasant shopping experience.

The manager here treated me with not a shred of humanity. I had been locked out of my car around 4:30 am in winter without a jacket, phone, or wallet. I was able to call a tow truck from a nearby gas station, but I had been waiting (in the cold without a jacket) for almost two hours and they were still not there. The manager refused to let me use the phone to call the tow company saying it’s “not a public phone.”Since when do we treat people in a crisis this way? There’s no excuse for such a callous attitude. What a psychopath.

I am pulling my travel trailer while on vacation in California. I was planning to stock up on supplies at Walmart when I saw several signs saying that RVs and trucks were not allowed in the parking lot at any time. So I left and did my shopping elsewhere.I understand signs saying no overnight parking- but not allowing any parking at any time?

I ran into Walmart to grab some synthetic motor oil. They usually have a good supply, but maybe they waiting delivery. I also grabbed breakfast burritos. They are actually really good. This is a very busy shopping center. Parking can be challenging.

Shopped in Gilroy today because of their stock. Store is clean and well stocked. Clerks are helpful and friendlyI had no idea of their Black Friday sale. Nothing on my list regarding electronics, so I shopped and found what I needed/ wanted. In August, we were in Reno and did our shopping to stock our time share. We found Tomahawk steaks there. Gilroy happens to have them as well. They are So delicious ? I got one for my co-worker. She fed her family and had lunch for the next day. If you get a chance, check them out and get a couple. You won't be sorry. Unless you can't cook/ grill.

I used to visit this Walmart once a week. On average I would spend about $150 per visit. Now I only go there if I am just buying groceries. Why? Because items like deodorant, socks, underwear etc are locked up. And there is nobody around with a key to get these items for you. There's a plastic button located at these locked shelves, but when you press this piece of plastic nothing happens. I have attempted to get items from a locked shelf, many times and 20 minutes later had to give up. Now I just buy my items at Safeway. Yes, they're more expensive, but atleast I can access them. My question is, are you losing more money from theft or from customers not being able to purchase things?

This Walmart is nice it’s usually very clean and organized. Unfortunately, they seem to consistently be short on checkers and there often really long lines and bathrooms don’t seem to get cleaned enough.

Store was a mess. Inventory was all over the place within the aisles and shelves. Also, there’s not clear order or flow through the store. I was there to find 2 things and spent 30 minutes just walking around the store trying to find an employee or the relevant products. Didn’t find either and walked out defeated and tired after 30 minutes.Re: accessibility, ♿️ accessible parking in the lot in front of the store and the entrance is stair-less and has a wide entryway.

Enjoyed shopping on a weekday. The store is well stocked. Wasn't too happy about checking out. We had many items for the self check out. There was only 1 human checker.

Electronics clerk Ramon(?), light red on red background (on purpose?) , when asked about GoPro and accessories informed me that WalMart did not carry anything related to GoPro any longer, so I proposed a $5 bet that I could find said requested items, to which we went and looked. There was even a GoPro camera in stock! As i attempted to chat with the clerk to out them at ease, he pulled out his phone and began to ignore me. Earlier i. Automotive, when asking a clerk where window shades were, she said, 'You can find them in the aisles,' then waved at half of the store. All of these are leading indicators that either clerks dont value themselves, their work, or other people, or all of the above. I find the lack of caring, ...disturbing.

Good place but just a bit has to get service if you need to see an item behind glass... But all in all it's a nice Walmart.Recommend.

Walmart, particularly this location, has become an overwhelmingly stressful place to shop. Starting with the odd concept of locking most items up so that you need an associate to practically shop with you. The wait times to get something unlocked are unreasonable. All that waiting in each section just to be able to walk away with it anyway. People can still steal the item! Next is the ridiculous idea of forcing people to use self checkout. This should be optional. It's unrealistic to expect a shopper to learn these systems on their shopping day. Hired employees are privy to practical training and get paid for it, not shoppers. The systems do not work effectively enough for a shopper to efficiently check out without calling for help frequently. Not to mention you then have to get into a separate line to purchase alcohol. Registers with cashiers should always be available. In addition to this madness is the expectation that you will then stand in line at the door to have your receipt matched with the items in your bags. This is also not effective unless they are going to match every single item and they don't! This is yet another super inconvenient stress. The employees are not customer service driven either. Maybe because now their workday is just as frustrating as the shoppers shopping day?I, like many others I know, will no longer be shopping at any Walmart.
