Management sucks big time. Showers are always dirty or missing soap, shower head, etcetra. Steam room is not working more often than it actually does. And stuff is hit or miss.

It's sad how badly this gym has fallen into this state of disrepair.

Probably the worst gym in the area.Outdated equipment that doesn’t allow for full range of motion. The this gym is “fine” for the beginner, but if you want to cater to those with experience 24hr Glendale needs to step up their game.As an experienced strength coach with 6+ yrs in the industry and a formal exercise science education, I witnessed atleast 2 personal trainers here give underwhelming sessions. They allowed their clients to move through incorrect form without talks on how to fix. They provided zero education to their client (as far as I’ve heard) and pushed their client through modalities and intensities that are unnecessary for a beginner to be put through without proper foundation. To remind the reader, please interview your trainer before hiring. Make sure their coaching style and credentials match what you’re wanting.

Very old outdated equipments.Torn out filthy pads.No towel requirement policy with filthy people sweating on equipments.Paper towel roller most of the time empty. Disinfectant sprayer bottles either empty or not functioning properly. How hard is it to get new sprayer bottles??Membership not worth more than 10$ per month.I regret paying 300$ per year now.Nice gym location but needs many improvements.

Why does it smell like b.o. from downstairs when you haven't even entered the gym up on the second floor yet? This is the MAIN rough part for me personally. You smell bad leaving the gym, even if you have showered. No point in showering there after a workout.Flies in the showers? Appears to be like fruit flies. Weird. But, still cleaner than most showers at other locations. The Glendale location also closes super early, especially on the weekends. Kind of curious why. Would be nice if they were opened until 11pm or midnight on the weekdays. Perhaps 10pm weekends. Difficult for those of us that work in the area and have no vehicle to drive to Burbank or Santa Monica to experience the name "24 Hour Fitness."It is cleaner that most 24 hour fitnesses though and has a lot of equipment. Staff is generally friendly.

My husband had to replace his card last month so our gym memberships were not paid up. I tried to cancel my membership today and the woman at the front desk claimed I had to pay and then wait 24 hours and come back to cancel. I paid and then decided to go to the altadena location to try to cancel and the nice woman at their location cancelled my membership right away. Makes no sense to have to jump through these hoops to just cancel the membership. Seems like a scam.

The kid at the front desk has a name tag that says he's in sales. Really? My first time back after the pandemic, walked in & commented that they had a different way to check in. He said snidely, "we haven't done it that way in over 3 years". Seriously? You trying to make me feel d*** & lazy? Then I asked him to look up my membership because my health insurance pays for it and I wasn't sure that it was still active. He kept on saying over and over again that it was terminated! Dude, calm down and just say it was discontinued. Learn some actual sales skills because right now you're failing!

I've been a regular at 24 Hour Fitness in Glendale for a while now, and while there are some positives, there are also areas that could use improvement. On the positive side, the price is reasonable, making it accessible for many. The staff is generally friendly and helpful when needed. However, I can't help but notice a few downsides. The gym equipment is noticeably outdated, which can be frustrating at times. Finding weights in their proper place can also be a challenge, as they tend to be misplaced. One significant drawback is the early closing time, which doesn't align well with a 24-hour gym concept. It's disappointing to see the gym close early when many people prefer late-night workouts. In summary, 24 Hour Fitness in Glendale has its pros and cons. It's affordable and has a friendly staff, but the outdated equipment, weight organization, and early closing hours could use some attention. Overall, it's not a bad choice, but I hope to see some upgrades in the future.

I typically don't do the Karen but today I will. I am truly irritated by the amount of teenagers in the gym after 5:00p. They are not exercising but socializing, rough playing or just standing around in groups. Sometimes in the middle of the floor, workout area or hovering over a machine/equipment that they are not going to use. The guy has become a meet up spot for them and while others have complained, the issue hasn't been resolved. Last night (10/10/23) I was fed up. I recorded them fighting with a roller. And come on, I am a black woman and if these were young boys of my color, they would have been kicked out and definitely not allowed to gather in groups. I went to get staff which was of no help. The guy basically walked right past them and asked me what were they doing as if he did not see it. This was not a good feeling at all. This location happens to be within walking distance from where I live. I guess I'll stick to morning workouts instead b/c management doesn't see this as an issue.

I have been a member since February and use the full facilities (parking, wet area, cardio, weight lifting, boxing and basketball) This is in my opinion one of the top 3 24 hour fitness locations in the LA area all things considered. The staff is helpful, the area generally clean considering the amount of traffic and parking is free for 2 hours. Not sure why this location has such a low rating when it is easily top 3 in the city ?

This gym is absolutely way too hot. It’s not just at peak hours or in the middle of summer..it’s year round. When I contacted 24hour fitness via email, I got a poor response from the front desk person and he said he would forward to corporate. Of course I haven’t heard back. It’s not just me, multiple reviews have said the same. I used to go 6 days a week but haven’t gone since July 2nd because the 80 degree stale air triggers my panic attacks. Hopefully corporate will reach out soon. But it seems like they don’t care for the health and safety of their customers.

Always a great amount of options. I have been going full time now for 3 months to this specific gym and everything is pretty clean and tidy. Never too packed past 7pm or early in the day. One issue is that this 24HR closes at 10pm (making the name pointless) and on the weekend it closes earlier (which is odd). I truly wish they would be open a few more hours into the night but you can still get a great work out and there is never a long waiting time. Really there is no waiting time for most machines. Good place to work out and be with your thoughts.

I've been a member here for a few weeks now, and I have to say that it's great so far. It's clean and the staff has been friendly. Parking is $0.50 with validation (not bad). I got the one year platinum deal, which really was a fantastic value. It includes a couple of buddy passes, so I take my son with me. The weights, cardio area, and basketball court are all good. I've only run into one broken machine so far, and it was fixed by the next time I came. My only gripe is that you can't use the class room when classes aren't going on. That's a big bummer! Other than that, it's great. I'll definitely update this as time goes on.

One of the nicest 24 hours I’ve been. Always clean with lots of equipment. Also no overpriced parking.
