“Dollar King? It used to be cool until they started selling things that you can order on Amazon for half the price. That being said, I this is my go-to for holiday decorations, party supplies and crafts. But selling off-brand vegetable oil for $6.49 when it's $3.99 at Vons is insanity. Y'all we gotta do something about this inflation and no income increase. You know it's bad when it's more expensive to cook at home than it is to go out to eat. But I digress.”

“It has almost anything you could need if you are an artist that paints, or someone that uses a sketchbook.

They have materials for you to make your own custom canvas and high quality paints in different mediums. The store also has a good variety of sketchbooks to choose from, made for most mediums. (They also have cute washi tape that I love).

For it being a smaller sized store compared to the average supply store, it’s filled to the brim with great materials. I love going there for materials. It is the best art supply store I’ve ever shopped at.”

“What a great store. I went in to purchase art supplies for a project for my daughter's class. The wonderful folks at Blue Rooster spent literally 30 minutes helping me pick supplies, giving me tips on how to make things work best, and brainstorming how we could make it creative and enjoyable. I got an art lesson with my shopping experience! I will be shopping and recommending Blue Rooster for any of my art supply needs!”

“I came in here on a whim on my way to blick as I’m starting a new series and was passing by, I was met by the kindest, most helpful older woman who turned out to be the owner. I drive by almost everyday but never stopped in. I’m so glad I did. They are well stocked and I found everything I needed. Will definitely be making this my first stop when I’m in search of art supplies! ❤️”

“Fantastic! A gem of a place to make the highest quality products. But be aware! Take your time. Warping in the molds can cause major problems. So ask careful questions and get more opinions than one, as each material is very specific. You can also call them or there are tons of resources online.

Be very aware with shrinking in mold materials, especially if using latex. It greatly shrinks, especially if molding large objects. I lost weeks of work to learn this by mistake. Here’s a few molds for a client, now it’s scrap! Remaking with Brush-on material. Brush-on also shrinks, especially when adding thicker types of brush-on series with thinner types (ie. brush-on 35 with 40) for added strength.”

“I came into the shop and I talked to Alex. What a solid dude. I told him about my project, my overall concept and color combinations, and he pointed me in such a great direction. Educated me in all the different types of paints. What they do, how they work. The different tips for the spray cans. Super knowledgeable guy, awesome creativity. Also helping that flow kind of throwing ideas out there as well, and just really appreciate the interaction and creativity.”

“I recently visited and came in for a new build; Adrian was there to help me at every step of the way. I figured I knew what I wanted and assumed what was best, but after Adrian showed me some alternative options and listening to his advice, I ended up pivoting, changing my build for the better and ending up with a board I'm very proud of. Admittedly, I'm not local, but I do appreciate an independent owner and shop when I come across them. I can't speak highly enough about Adrian - this dude is super friendly, patient, and has a wealth of knowledge and experience. Adrian backed all of that up with a solid selection of parts and components to fit just about any ride style/discipline. I'm super stoked and couldn't be more thankful for Adrian and Pros & and Cons. ?
Whether your local or travelling, you can trust that your in good hands when you shop Pros & Cons. This is the real deal. ?”

“I had such a wonderful experience and I have to highlight the exceptional customer service I received. EMILIA, Demonstrated exceptional initiative by going above and beyond to assist me.”she was incredibly knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely cared about making sure I found exactly what I needed.
Not only did she answer all my questions with confidence, but she also offered thoughtful suggestions that I wouldn’t have considered on my own. Her expertise and friendly attitude made the entire experience enjoyable and stress-free.
It’s rare to come across someone who exceeds expectations the way Emilia did. I’ll definitely be returning, and I highly recommend this location to anyone looking for both great products and outstanding service.”

“I've had 2 prints framed here. The woman at the front desk was knowledgeable and extremely helpful. The recent print I brought in I wasn't sure how to frame it and she helped talk me through several options on wood and matting. We landed on a beautiful bamboo frame that works so well with the print it seems to be made for it. The framing is beautifully done, I'm ecstatic with both pieces, thank you!”
