Very disappointed in my rental from this past weekend. I rented a 7 seater vehicle as it was 5 of us and two babies. I was told that there was only a 6 seater available. The vehicle was filthy, it had not been cleaned. There was dog hair everywhere and it reeked of cigarette smoke. It was my birthday and I had my 8 month old daughter and 1 year old goddaughter who I did not want to put in this vehicle. I was told there may be some sort of discount but I have not heard back from Avis at all. I was charged full price. I have booked with Avis several times before but after this experience I will not be booking at this location or with Avis again. Very disappointed

It's hard to get through on the phone to anyone at times, but I've only ever dealt with polite & helpful staff when I've been there. Special s/o to Joseph for being extremely kind & going above & beyond to deal with my rental issue.

The customer service was top notch. They were a pleasure to deal with. This is actually the best customer service I have ever encountered. They should be the poster of Avis then it comes to customer service. I will definitely use this office again.

My recent rental experience with Avis was unfortunately far from satisfactory. While I understand mistakes can happen, the combination of an overcharged amount, disrespectful communication, and a car due for service left me feeling frustrated and disappointed.Throughout the rental process, I received several text messages from Avis representatives that were unprofessional and disrespectful. The tone was accusatory, and the messages made me feel like I was being blamed for something I hadn't done.Additionally, the car I rented was due for an oil change, which I was unaware of at the time of pick-up.Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Avis to others. The overcharged amount, disrespectful communication, and car condition were unacceptable and significantly impacted my rental experience.

Horrible service, we made a reservation for my parents to leave the car, prepaid and the day of our appointment we were told that they had no cars. And said they tried calling earlier and no one answered, we didn’t have any missed calls…When we asked for a reimbursement and we were told that we had to call, they couldn’t do anything… very bad service

This has been the best rental place I have ever visited. Truly. Exemplary service. Excellent choice of vehicles. I mean Tino is the hardest worker I’ve ever seen in any industry. He really takes good care of you and treats you with the utmost respect. By far and simply hands down the best car rental in the Southern California. Tino and his team will make sure you get the help you need. And I’m thankful for all the help and service he’s provided.So if you’re in need of a rental service, this is the place to come. And if you’re looking to rent a car to drive for Uber they also provide that here as well.

Tino and Renee were legends. I really appreciate the care they handled my situation with. I will definitely be coming back because of them. Plus they speak Spanish/french/English/ and Japanese!

This place deserves 0 stars, Tino the branch manager of this location needs to be terminated and sued! I have never witnessed such lack of professionalism, Tino harasses his employees and customers, he's too worried about customers rentals but doesn't maintain proper working cars, I rented for over 3 months and all the cars were undrivable I was forced to drive a car without any brakes during a rain storm! Tino would text me from his personal cellphone to harass me for no reason, REENE is the only hard working employee at this location, she's very friendly and helpful, she was very courteous in helping me when I was having issues with my rentals, I feel so bad Reene because my last visit Tino the manager was yelling and screaming at her for no reason, what type of manager disrespects their employees. I don't know who promoted Tino to manager, but he needs to be terminated ASAP! He has no customer service skills, curses at customers in Spanish, doesn't have any social skills. Highly recommend you NOT RENT AT THIS LOCATION!

Shortage of cars and false online booking systems?I booked online with a few weeks in advance, and received countless confirmation emails that the vehicle would be available. I get there and they say that the cars are at the mechanics and the vehicles I booked aren't meant to go to LAX, so why have that as an option on your site I ask and the lady says its just how the system is and that I have to call to change and she is unable to do it. I then request that she follows up, and begrudgingly she calls. I speak to three different people on the phone and they say that I would have to pay a difference and get the car from another location! After begging, they say that they will wave the difference since it was their online mistake.I get to the other Glendale location and the clerk there says that no adjustment was made, no one called them or emailed them about the change. They ended up doing it for me anyway after all that run around. This was not a good experience with renting a car, something very simple could have been sorted from the beginning. Avis needs to update their online system to work with their old outdated back end system.

Generally I liked Avis, good cars. The Glendale place has a great manager but I was involved in a hit a run. The company treated me like it was my fault (it wasn't!). I was on contract for a week but had the car for 2 days when the other car hit me. Avis did not replace the car and charged me for the entire week. "It is a contract!" VERY nasty. I'll never rent from them again.
