Interesting how the employees are more pretentious than the customers. It's truly a poor reflection of their management who are unable to hire friendly staff members. I came here with my mom a few days ago and the lady at the women's perfume counter had a rude tone and demeanor towards my mother. My mom asked her twice if she placed a gift receipt in her order and she condescendingly replied yes. After we got home and checked the bag we noticed there was no gift receipt. Kindness and respect go a long way in my book especially at a store that touts itself as "high end" and desires to bring an elevated sense of customer satisfaction. I rather take my business elsewhere.

I have been to Bloomingdales in New York and comparing this store in Glendale to New York is a major, earth-shattering POSITIVE experience. This store rivals Bergdorf Goodman in New York. All of their merchandise is HIGH END and the service is OUTSTANDING. The selections are from around the world, London, Spain, Italy, et cetera. If you wnat quality and are not intimidated by the price tag, this store takes the ticket 100000%. I will most definitely return. They get the highest marks possible.

Terrible service: retail associates would prefer to flirt and discuss the merits of sharing a bank account with their partners. Horrendous selection: I popped in for a black silk tie, and there wasn't one in the entire building. What?! Is there a global supply shortage of black silk? What a joke! Value: negative. Wasted my time. These department store are going under fast. Good riddance.

We bought jewelry supposedly made from gold, with all certifications, which however turned to be made from silver as it is leaving dark marks on the skin like only silver products do. we have calked, complained... they requested documentation, promised to either take it back or give a huge discount... after we sent the requested documentation and several unanswered follow up emails, nothing happened... just nothing, and done pint we dimply forgot and gave up... but, that is surprising and unbelievable... who would think??? their reputation is ruined. open yo discuss this incident with whoever contacts me, bit again, you pay a lot of money and simply get something else, cheaper... unbelievable

I think the Sherman Oaks Bloomingdales and the Bloomingdales in South Coast Plaza are way better than this one. The service was good but the layout is very weird. I did get a price adjustment on something I ordered online which was nice. They always ask you if it was purchased within 7 days. I always just let them know that that policy is only for clothing purchased in the store. I did receive the item within 7 days though:). At some of the Bloomingdales they will be really stuck up but the service here was spectacular to the previous time that I got a price adjustment.

Stop coming here. The community is brainwashed and people don't seem to understand that this store is a retail franchise not a miracle shop where magic happens. Service is great if you're patient like any normal human being. Very wide selection of merchandise although it's targeted towards a certain type of customer who often times can be difficult to deal with. Overall an "average" store to attend to if you value your overall time and experiences. At least most employees seem to know what they're talking about. It's the customer base who seems to be lost

I came in around 12-1 looking for Christmas present but I came across a rude Bloomingdale employee. I walked over to the kiosk and started to smell the By Kilian fragrance then an associate came over and said "Let me know what you're looking for and I can assist you". I then asked for the one with hints of coffee but she said they didn't have one like that. They DO it's called Momento Mori. But, Her response was, "We don't have anything like that". Honestly, sephora only has 4-6 in display I wanted to discover a new scent and I have already fallen in love with two of their fragrance. But her attitude was so off putting I decided to shop online and get my mom's hand bag elsewhere. 1700+230 is what this employee's attitude missed out on that hour. I wish she'd change her attitude but not as much as me wishing she toned her yellow blonde hair and use a darker liner for that vivid magenta/red lipstick. It's just didn't look right.

Bloomingdale is the one step shop for brands. Very neat and high class. Amazing look, feel, and smill. It's a two stories building attached to the Glendale Galleria. Parking is free in the large parking structure.Very important note: when in the fitting"dressing" room put something behind the door. They opened the door on my wife.

I am writing to express my deep disappointment and frustration regarding Bloomingdale's late opening hours, specifically the fact that the store opens at 11 AM instead of regular hours like other stores. This practice is causing your esteemed establishment to miss out on potential business and inconveniencing customers like myself. Bloomingdale's has always been synonymous with exceptional quality, service, and style. As a loyal customer of your store for several years, I have come to expect a certain level of convenience and accessibility when shopping at Bloomingdale's. However, the decision to open at 11 AM, which is significantly later than most other stores, has proven to be a major inconvenience for many customers, including myself. The late opening hours have a significant impact on customers who have busy schedules and rely on the early morning hours to run errands and complete their shopping. Opening at 11 AM means that I, along with many other working professionals, cannot visit Bloomingdale's before starting our workday. This leaves us with limited options to browse and purchase items from your store, forcing us to either postpone our shopping or choose alternative retailers with more convenient hours.Furthermore, the late opening hours also affect tourists and visitors to the city. Many tourists plan their itineraries around visiting prominent stores like Bloomingdale's, and the delayed opening simply disrupts their plans and may result in them choosing alternative shopping destinations. This not only creates a negative impression of Bloomingdale's but also leads to a loss of potential revenue and missed opportunities to showcase the store's offerings to a diverse customer base.I understand that operating a department store of Bloomingdale's scale involves several logistical considerations. However, it is important to note that in today's competitive retail landscape, convenience and accessibility are key factors in attracting and retaining customers. Opening at 11 AM puts Bloomingdale's at a disadvantage when compared to other retailers who start their operations at earlier hours, allowing customers to make the most of their day.Considering the significance of this issue, I kindly request that Bloomingdale's management reevaluates the current opening hours and seriously considers adjusting them to align with the regular operating hours of other retailers. By doing so, Bloomingdale's will not only demonstrate its commitment to customer satisfaction but also tap into a larger customer base, enhancing its reputation and profitability.I trust that this matter will be given the attention it deserves, and I eagerly await a prompt response addressing my concerns. Thank you for your time and consideration.

I WILL NEVER SHOP AT BLOOMINGDALE'S EVER EGAIN. STICK TO NORDSTROM. They won''t let me return a dress I never wore. I DID NOT EVEN TRY IT ON. It is still within return window. The guy said it has a stain on which I did not put. They steal your money by selling damaged goods. He also said since this Gledale location doesn't have the brand so he can't take it back???? What??? Clearly the website does state return free at any location.

My friends and family have been coming to the Glendale Galleria for years and absolutely love Bloomingdales. Excellent selection of designer, contemporary, and classic brands, while offering consistent customer service year after year. Shout out to their LV and Saint Laurent boutiques! I've only had excellent experiences at both and love that my purchases count toward Bloomingdales points.

I just had a very disturbing experience with a customer service worker at this location. My mother had noticed she was missing an item refund from a couple days ago and came to ask to resolve the issue. She spoke to the same individual that helped her return the items only a couple days ago. After numerous attempts to make this individual understand the situation, he refused to believe my mother and said there was nothing he or the management could do. I understand there is always procedures to follow for the store, however, the way it went about was very disappointing. I hope this isn't a constant issue among others, but judging from the reviews, it doesn't have the best reputation. Expected more from a "high end" store.

Went to Bloomingsdale to buy a pair of heels for my sister. We were greeted by Nanar and Betty. Nanar was very helpful and knowledgeable about the kind of shoes my sister was looking for. While waiting in my sister, Betty helped me by educating me about other shoe brands. She was also very knowledgeable about all brands there. Anyhow, next time you need shoes, make sure to look these young ladies up and have them help you.
