Brand Park is a beautiful, peaceful, and lovely spot to relax and unwind. It is a large park, bigger than expected, with plenty of shady spots, open lawns, lots of greenery, and easy walking trails. It offers great views of the mountains and feels alive with playgrounds, fields, and historic buildings like the Brand Library & Art Center and the doctor's Queen Anne Main House, a historic landmark. The period gazebo is another feature. A highlight for many is the serene Japanese Friendship Garden and Shoseian Tea House, a calming little oasis with a koi pond, stone paths, and carefully tended greenery. The park is perfect for a picnic, a jog, or just spending time outdoors, and it often feels happy and calm without being too crowded. Amenities include clean restrooms with running water and plenty of free parking. It is a gem in Glendale and a great, quite park for a walk, with plenty of spaces available.
Lovely grounds with the doctor's Queen Anne Main House, period Gazabo and Japanese Garden. One bathroom, odd for the size of the grounds. The library is closed on the weekend
