Lots of mixed reviews on this place, many of the bad from a long time ago. It seems they've worked out whatever their issues were. Had several interactions with them and every time has been excellent service. Even with a few bank issues to work out on my end, not theirs, they were more than accommodating. I wouldn't hesitate to rent from them again. Great rates too.

Never again will we rent from this location again. And honestly reading the reviews and experiencing the same rude customer service as everyone else I don't know how the front desk receptionist still has a job working with this company. Her customer service skills are trash. My mom rented a car from here and Laura helped us and made the experience absolute garbage. To start she didn't even walk us to our car and do a walk through she simply pointed where the car was. But, honestly that didn't bother me as much when I called And spoke to her explaining she handed a car with a expired title and insurance card. We notice 3 hours after renting the car so my mom can take her CA driving test. I told her they wouldn't allow us to use the car because these reasons. She was very rude. Didn't even tried to help find a solution. She went straight to "well you didn't say that's what you needed the car for" since when did you have to tell a car rental place what your using the car for to get a valid title? We said errands. That's why more than enough. And each car should be handed a valid up to date title. it's worst she than hangs up on me because she said she was only allowed to talk to my mom. So we simply drove to the place to return the car because clearly we can't use it for the reason why we rented it. Miss Laura literally goes back and forth with us doesn't even attempt to help. Doesn't show us the car updated titled or insurance. Nothing! Makes me question of the car title was actually expired. Anyways, We explained that the paper work in the car was expired over 2 years. And she said well if the cops stop and run the tags nothing wrong so what's the issue. But, like why is the paperwork in the glove compartment expired? Why has it not been updated? By law you are required to drive with a valid registration! At this point I want my mother to get a full refund. Because, like why are y'all renting cars out and handing expired titles? Well her and sonny just refused at all to listen. Mind you sonny just putting his two cents in also no help! Long story short. She charged my mom a Full day after having the car 2 hours. Didn't help to even find a solution to the problem.... I called customer service on the phone and they issued my mother a FULL REFUND! Even gave us a free one day rental on top!! Moral of the story, Laura needs to either be trained on provided better service or find another job. she either hates her job or sucks at problem solving. Also, this location needs to have a supervisor on the shift for matters like this. And most importantly stop renting out cars without updated paperwork!!!! This is very important! No reason a car titled in a car is be expired for 2 years! So yeah it's gonna be a no for me! I wouldn't bother! And Laura thanks for the horrible experience we got our refund and a free day rental!!! Xoxo

Had a reservation with another car rental (starts with an H) and they turned me away, said no cars. I think they only rent to friends and family. Had to walk to this car rental. Great customer service!!! Very accommodating!! I will tell all my family and friends to come here!!

DMV WOULD NOT APPROVE THIS! CAR NEEDED AN OIL CHANGE AND A BREAK CHANGE!!! car squeaks all the time i break. Very dangerous. Unprofessional. Also car was dirty in the first place.These people WILL OVER CHARGE YOU.LOOK AT THERE REVIEWS IT SPEAKS FOR IT SELF! Go to enterprise better!

Do not come here and rent a car.. false total. These people are LAZY to clean the car so they’ll charge an additional $500 to clean something that takes 10mins! Karma will get you guys for over charging. Old man who can barley clean and work there lol the two FAT ladies at the front desk talk way too much and wont shut up and they get you into the contract. DO NOT RENT HERE.

I now understand why this location only has three stars. The customer service agent with black hair the plus size one is extremely rude and condescending. We picked up the truck that was not completely full and we returned it at the same exact level that we got it. And they want to charge us 35 extra dollars to fill up their truck that wasn't full. What a joke

I picked the car up on a Friday and a couple blocks into my drive, I received a notification that the front passenger side tire pressure was low *at 17psi*. I returned to the location and it was discovered that the tire cap was missing. I informed them that the psi in the other tires were comparably high (38-40psi) to what the stated 33psi was supposed to be. No reductions were made to the other tires, the low tire was filled, and I was sent on my way. The next day, Saturday, after I'd gotten on the highway, I got another low 17psi notification. I was already on the highway at high speed, the car was wobbly and difficult for me to control. I had to get off of the highway and find a gas station to put air in the tire; the cap was still on the tire and obviously not the low pressure issue. At which time, I called the budget main line to report what was occurring and was told I would need to address my concerns with customer service. This occurred roughly around 5pm, all locations were closed, and I was unable to exchange the car for a new rental. I was offered to return the car the following day, on Sunday, when I was already scheduled to return the car at the airport. I asked the rep to notate my account with this issue but I don't think it was done. I opted to no longer drive the car until it was time to return it because I felt it to be unsafe. Then, after returning the car, I received my final bill to see that they'd charged me for another day for being 30 minutes outside of my dropoff time. I was baffled, I get an unsafe car I can't drive and then get charged extra for being 30 minutes behind. Technically I didn't even get it at the scheduled time because I had to wait almost 30 minutes for the people in front of me. I was refunded the late fee but don't feel like I should have had to pay for the rental at all since it was too unsafe for me to actually drive.

Worst, nastiest customer service I have encountered and it is not even close. Beware avoid this place at all cost. I will never rent a vehicle for my company from this location again. Total liars that will try to rip you off what a complete rat-nest. How does a place this bad actually exist?

I've attempted to rent here twice now. The first time, I showed up for my reservation at 8am and there were no cars available. I was told they'd call me when one became available, but I never got that call. Today I decided to give it another shot. I rented a SUV and once I arrived the manager told me they didn't have the SUV I reserved, but there was a larger one available for double the price I initially reserved for. The fact that people are allowed to rent cars and they keep not being available should have been enough for a free upgrade. This place is terrible. So is the customer service.

The worst!!!!!!!!!! I reserved a car 1 month in advance for an out of town wedding, two days before my pick-up date,Laura, their cracker jack front desk clerk, informs me that my reservation is canceled due to not having any available cars. I asked her for her assistance trying to find a solution and also requested to speak to her supervisor, she replied " sorry, call our customer service" I wish that I could give them no star, they have absolutely no customer service, or responsibility for the way they run their business.
