It’s a disappointment every time I visit this World Market store location in Glendale CA. This store never has stuff that is advertised through email or text messages. The free items with purchase that are mostly offered Fri-Saturday are never in stock. However, other locations have them in abundance. If this location has a high traffic of customers then store management has to make sure the have enough stock. I would rather spend time and gas to drive 15-20 miles to another World Market store then experience upset and disappointment in this Glendale location.

Easy to find things, and even has a free coffee and tea stand in the front of the store for patrons! Employees are great too! Shannon was very kind and a great conversationalist. I definitely recommend this World Market location.

The worst location I have ever been. No customer service at all. Cashier Amanda was so rude and not helpful at all. When you go these stores you expect at least a little smile and happy customer approach. Never recommend

There is a pet store next to this store so I went into this store to buy chairs and my Yorkie weighing four pounds was with me. We were kicked out of this store. Manager told that you can't enter this store with dogs. I wanted to warn all dog and cat owners that this is not a Pet Friendly store

Watch your cameras, just put my stuff down and walked out, 600pm 4-17-25
Stocker in wine area aggressively told us to move because he was stocking shelves, so we jumped out of the way, then the checker stopped what she was doing to tell me where to stand. Your staff is rude. I put down my wine glasses and walked out.

I went to this store in Glendale to do some holiday shopping and had some questions about some items. I spoke to an employee named Sal and he was terrible! He was very short with me when I asked him questions and was overall rude. He made it seem like I was a nuisance just for asking questions. I am definitely not coming back to this location because of him!

When only one cash register out of six is open, do you really think customers will be happy? Lines of 10-15 people are not the norm. It’s a pity that when the crowds of people were already gathering, only then did the cashiers begin to sound. The store is diverse, the assortment pleases with goods from all over the world. Alas, further waiting negates these advantages.

I would've give zero star but I am giving 2 stars just for cashier Lilly she did a good job to cover the other 2r employees conduct.
Before going to Glendale's world market ,last night Friday dec. 6th 2024, we checked the hours of this store online and closing was 9 pm.
So we go at 7.30. Just start shopping an employee came to us and asked us to move to cash register because they are closing at 8pm.
So they rushed us to get out of the store.
I really didn't appreciate one male employee 's conduct. But thank to Lilly we got out of the store smiling.
I won't go to this store anymore.

Excellent products, but John would not let me enter with my service dog and I still wanted him not to enter or to carry him in my arms, I explained to him that it was not possible and his attitude was very annoying and arrogant. Glendale is an animal-friendly city, it's just unfriendly people

They sell merchandise from around the world. You can find unusual jewelry (non-gems or precious metals) to furnishings, candies, and packaged cookies.During my most recent visit, I purchased thin European cookies. World Market sells the genuine item and not the imitations produced by Vons and Ralphs. However, upon opening the package, I discovered that EVERY cookie was broken, probably from being dropped while the item was being stocked on the store's shelf.
