Came here for Drug Screening as a walk in at 1:00pm on 11/10. The front desk receptionist is so kind and helpful. I will definitely come back.

Just had testing done here at the location in Glendale for insurance purposes. The building was easy to find (the one pictured) and parking right across the street was inexpensive and easy to access. The cast of parking was $1.50 an hour. I paid for the full hour just in case my appointment ran long. You can pay using quarters or the dollar coins, or use card. The elevator was still being repaired, but when I got to the staircase I ran into a kind woman who I asked if the suite was up there and she gave me directions ( exit first floor upturn left, take first right and it's the last door to the right.) there weren't any clients inside. I just walked up to the front desk and Jonathan told me he'd be right with me after confirming my appointment. It was a short wait (3 minutes). Before I go on, I should mention that I'm super anxious having blood drawn and Jonathan did an excellent job making me comfortable. He asked me some medical questions which was the longest part of the appointment. The questionnaire was a standard medical questionnaire and Jonathan fills it out to make sure everything is cover so the insurance company won't have any issues. He even doubled checked it after the I completed all of the testing. He check my blood pressure three times for insurance purposes. I went to the restroom for the urine part of the test. I know someone mentioned that the restroom smelled, but that review was 5 years ago and the restroom I used was very clean and there was no smell. I'm a clean freak and I felt very comfortable. Jonathan then took my blood and was super quick and professional. It was completely painless and he made sure the area was okay before bandaging it and that I felt ok before leaving. I felt it was important to leave this because my experience was really good and I want to make sure others with the same fears I have know this place and the employees ( at least that I interacted with) were professional and helpful) and that the building is clean and accessible. Hope this helps!

While applying for life insurance I had to schedule an appointment with Exam One. Most people probably don't know that you can schedule them to COME TO YOUR HOUSE for your examination :-) you do not have to go to Glendale. This was fantastic! What a nice/great option. Scheduling was easy! Terrin called me the day before to confirm her visit. She was awesome! Super nice, on time, drew my blood with no problem, asked all the questions needed, and made the whole thing easy peasy! Thank you Terrin :-) what a great experience!

When applying for a life insurance policy, you are sent to medical offices that have the approval of the company you're investing in. Exam One happens to be a location approved by Transamerica. I had a wonderful experience. The office was clean, beautiful and very polite staff. They have street parking as well as convient lot parking that is metered as well. The examination was thorough and the paperwork was explained to me very patiently by my examiner named Gabby. For most people being in a doctor's office brings anxiety and raises their blood pressure. Here at this office the staff have a way of keeping you calm so much so my blood pressure went down four notches after about thirty minutes with Gabby. I enjoyed how spacious their examination rooms were. They weren't cluttered and somewhat out of order like others. The exam didn't take long at all.

First off, it's super hard to find this place. The building is not clearly marked and parking is hell. The elevator was broken so I took the stairs (no big deal) but the problem was that their stairs weren't clearly marked either so I had to do a lot of guessing to find the exam office. There also weren't much when it comes to signs in the hallways. Once I got in I was told to sit down and it would be just a moment. Nearly 20 minutes had gone by by the time I was finally taken to get my exam done. I was about to just walk out when someone finally came to get me. No one else was in the waiting room with me and there were multiple people working there. This was around 2pm. A woman took me to an exam room. She was very nice and easy to talk to. She did a very quick blood draw on me after she took my height and weight and asked me some medical questions. Then she asked me for a urine sample. I left the exam room and headed for the bathroom. That's when I first noticed a smell in the hallway. It was like old, stale poop...but just barely. Gross but something you can deal with if you walk quickly enough. But then I got to the bathroom... Dear Lord. That smell in the hallway was nothing compared to the death odor that filled that bathroom. I physically gagged at the smell. It was so bad. I was sure that someone had just pooped right there on the floor after not having gone in years, but there was no fecal matter to be found. I quickly peed and left. Had to hold my breath the entire time. Thought I might pass out but that would be better than the alternative of breathing in that thick cloud of 20 years of repression. Satan himself would not stoop so low as to make someone live in that. On the plus side, I didn't have any bruising from the blood draw.

Blood draw- fail. Had a traveling phlebotomist come out to my house to take a blood sample for the life insurance I just bought on myself through State Farm. I tried to be sweet to her but she brought a bunch of her personal issues to the appointment (people tell me I just have that face? I find myself constantly wondering why folks are sharing their business.) it wasted time but I allowed it because she was nice enough. When we got to the blood draw I could tell she wasn't comfortable, couldn't get me or herself positioned right, kept going for it and then backing off. I try to give credit that she's doing this at my dining table and not a proper lab. But the needle stick speaks for itself: when she was in my arm, she wiggled the needle. YOU CAN'T WIGGLE THE NEEDLE. I felt it and I watched it happen. It was painful but not the end of the world. Afterward, though, it hurt to fully straighten my arm. And today, 8 days (holy s*** EIGHT DAYS) after the blood draw I am still all bruised up my arm like an intravenous drug user. I have had to field off questions from people. (Uhhh Liz, is there something you need to tell us?) It's just plain embarrassing. Nobody should have nine inches of bruising after a simple blood test. This lady's technique (and failure to filter the TMI) were unacceptable.
