I had an absolutely fantastic experience with Extra Space Storage in Glendale! The entire process was incredibly smooth and stress-free.
I was able to reserve my unit online easily, and I appreciated getting a follow-up call the very next day to see if I needed any assistance with selecting the right unit and completing the signup. The staff was genuinely helpful and explained everything clearly without any pressure whatsoever – they were simply there to help me make the best choice for my needs.
When I arrived at the facility, the staff took the time to show me a couple of different unit options and provided thoughtful recommendations. The signup process was remarkably fast and efficient. He even walked me through downloading and using the app to unlock both the main door and my storage unit, which is such a convenient feature!
The facility itself is exceptionally clean and well-maintained. I was impressed to see they have a loading dock, which made moving my items in from the truck so much easier. The entire place feels secure and safe.
If you're looking for a storage facility in the Glendale area, I highly recommend Extra Space Storage. Great service, great facility, and a truly hassle-free experience from beginning to end!

Lawrence was a great help, took the time to explain, walk me through, and address my specific needs. The location is nice and spotless clean! Price is very reasonable. The pleasant conversation with Lawrence was the bonus. Overall, 11/10.

Lawrence was very helpful and knowledgeable. He took me in person to show me the units that might be right for me. The unit I eventually chose did not have a digital hasp on it, but he promised to fix that by the next day. I don’t like the music that they play inside the facility. I would prefer silence.

I had such a great experience with Extra Space Storage! From start to finish, the customer service was exceptional. The representative I first spoke with was friendly, professional, and made the entire process so easy. A special shout-out to Lawrence, the store manager — he went above and beyond to help me find exactly what I needed. He was patient, accommodating, and made sure everything was set up perfectly. It’s rare to find this level of customer care these days, and I truly appreciate how seamless and stress-free the experience was. I couldn’t be happier with my decision to store here!

From the moment I first walked through the doors into the office I felt nothing but a genuine welcoming. Mr. Lawrence Sherman’s customer service was a breath of fresh air, no B/S! I say that cause most places I go to now in days, the employees make you feel like they don’t want you there. This business is very clean, organized and reasonable. Lowkey it’s kinda of one of those places you don’t want to tell too many people about, insuring not to blow the spot… All in all I’ve got good feeling about this business. I’m looking forward in continuing my business with them. Thank you Mr. Lawrence and the rest of the Extra Space team.

The customer service here is exceptional! That is one of the main reasons why I chose Extra space in Glendale. I don't even live in Glendale. However, my interactions with Lawrence is one of the primary reasons why I chose to store my things here. Lawrence called me many times to follow up and keep me updated. He was unbelievably professional, patient and polite. He is obsessed with keeping the property clean and smelling amazing...which I absolutely love. He had no problem showing me multiple units on different floors and of various sizes to meets my needs etc. I've seen Lawrence assist other clients and juggle assisting more than one client to ensure our appropriate storage needs are met. Lawrence and Chris are so friendly and helpful and are great at contacting their clients to keep them updated and informed about any pressing matters. This particular Extra space has units with climate control and also has more reasonable and affordable pricing options to choose from. They have a loading dock and lift with carts to utilize. They have extended hours of operation which is very convenient. They even offer a free month. I went to several different self storage companies to view units in person and tour the facilities. By far, THIS EXTRA Space has the best customer service. Lawrence was the only one to follow up and preserve my reservation. Other places had terrible customer service. The employees were rude and lazy and didn't want to show different unit sizes. Some didn't even want to take the reservation. No other company followed up with me. The Extra SPACE on Fountain Ave had a rude male employee who didn't even want to answer simple questions. I Think his name was Jamal and the other one from NY never bothered to follow up despite my many calls etc. Socal storage employee Doris or Dora? ...couldn't be bothered to take a reservation or take the time to show me all the 3 units I wanted to rent . She referred me to Extra space on Santa Monica Blvd, but they also never called back despite my calls. Trojan storage also didn't follow up etc. Lawrence is meticulously neat and I have seen him.pick up the tiniest piece of paper, tape or debris that happens to be left behind accidentally. He and Chris immediately call to inform you of anything concerning your account or units. Extra SPACE in Glendale was the ONLY one to call me back, follow through, keep me updated and preserved my reservations. I have THREE 10×15 units located near each other. Lawrence was prepared and asked all the right questions so he could show me the units that would best fit my needs!! Thank you for being so professional and kind.

Great customer service. Very helpful with the move in. Temperature controlled units are great for the heat here in the valley. Bluetooth locks are much better than traditional pad locks.

I had such a great experience with Lawrence Sherman at Extra Space Storage. From the very beginning, he made the moving process so much easier for me. His customer service was truly outstanding—he was attentive, patient, and went out of his way to make sure all my questions were answered.
