It's difficult for me to give this low rating, and I fee terrible about it. However, people should know the truth. The vets and the technicians deserve the highest rating possible. They are not only top notch, but probably among the best I have ever seen. The management is a different story. If you have ever had to deal with the front office, it can sometimes be a nightmare. Sometimes you can get great people, but more often than not, you'll be met with the rudest people that you have ever come across in your life. I'm sorry, but most of the front office staff is incredibly rude. Often, they won't even acknowledge that you are even there. You can sit there for a 1/2 hour or more listening to them joke back and forth with each other, but never acknowledge that you are even there. I had never really understood the disconnect between the amazing medical staff and the horrible administrative staff until I had an opportunity to having a conversation with the person managing the office. It was an extremely frustrating conversation. She was horrible and disgusting, and I finally understood why they treat their clients so terribly. It isn't because of the veterinarians. They are wonderful, but they need to replace the horrible woman running their office.

This is the best animal hospital ever! The vets, techs and reception are all so caring and knowledgeable. Dr. Ahmad is always so happy to discuss the intricacies of my dog's health issues and thoroughly explain all of the options available for her. I feel like I learn so much when I'm there and nothing is ever forced on me.I'm also always shocked at the affordability when it comes time to pay, which is a nice change from the shock you get at corporate animal hospitals :] I've also never had to wait more than 5 minutes after appointment time. They are super efficient and well-organized.They also work with rescues to get them affordable care. I genuinely can't recommend it enough.

I've been brining my dog here for almost 3 years now . The staff is always nice and welcoming . Before I used to take my dog to dr chaing, but she no longer works there . She was kind and answered all my questions. Recently my dog got severe skin allergies and no dr could figure out what was wrong with him until I met dr Hussein. Let me tell you his AMAZING and so caring . He answers all my questions and his always willing to help my dog get better . It's because of him my dog is fully better now . Im so glad his there and I feel so comfortable to go to him every time my dogs needs help . Thank you dr hussien for everything you have done for my dog !! I appreciate you so much , and please continue staying at GSAH!!!!

This place is absolutely wonderful. They have helped my dog and three cats with exams, vaccines, and any other concerns I have had. I have a very difficult semi-feral/friendly cat that can be a handful but they work with me and my kitty in a kind and respectful manner. This place has always been high quality in every capacity and they are consistent about it. Vet services are expensive anywhere, but I will pay for amazing service any day. Thank you GSAH!!

It is painful to write this review, but after 5-6 years with this clinic, we absolutely cannot recommend it. In December we were about to leave for a month and neither they nor Allivet had informed us that they had not renewed the prescription. So when we went in for shots, I inquired why had the medication not arrived & was told we needed an annual good health exam before it would be renewed. The vet was not in, we were leaving next morning and there was no plausable explanation given why the failure to let us know 1. that they had refused the refill or 2. that we were due for an exam. I asked the 5 techs would they prefer to do nothing about this and allow the dog to be in pain for a month because they would make no exceptions, make no attempt to confer with the vet. They literally shrugged their shoulders & stared at me blankly. Not good! Subsequently we took both dogs in for BOTH to have rooutine shots & next day received a notice that one dog had not got a notice that he was due for one of his routine shots. More recently the dogs had to be tested for worms & we received no follow up until several wks later I called & was told the stool samples were negative. I could see the worms, took them to another vet who promptly wormed them. BAD care!!!

Highly ethical ,honest, polite and caring. I have known this dr. since 1980 and I dare say that he is one of the very honest and humble man known to me. He is blessed.

I dunno, most of my visits were check ups and blood work during the pandemic so I can't really speak to bedside manner or whatnot. But I went there in like 2020 and 2021and early 2022 for my two cats. One is older (13+ at the time) with kidney and thyroid issues.... Anyway one of the doctors, I forget which one, gave him 3-6 months to live... it was devastating and heartbreaking. Anyway, I'm at Modern Animal now and he's 15+ with stable levels. But I'll say I have PTSD from it.

Dr. Hussain and the team at Glendale Small Animal Hospital treat our pets like their own. I feel so lucky that I can fully trust them with my dog and cat. The team at GSAH always provides the best care possible and I am so grateful for them!

I absolutely love this Hopsital! Best doctors here and they truly care about your pets! They explain everything very thoroughly! I don’t understand why some of the reviews say money hungry…. seems like they’ve never been here because that is certainly not the case.

The manager is EXTREMELY rude and unprofessional! I brought my dog here for grooming and was charged for extra things without my permission. When I called to explain my concerns, the manager talked over me and yelled the whole time, demanding that I pay more money NOW (literally while on the phone). She said that since I don’t want to pay for the things I was charged for (without my permission), they refuse to take my dog ever again. If you don’t want to be charged for things without your permission and then get yelled at by the manger, don’t bring your pet here.
