Staff is nice. Very nice in fact. But whoever does the pricing is outta control...
I live here in Glendale and used to come in this store all the time for any and everything. T-Shirts and books especially were a good deal. But almost overnight (since COVID 19 anyway) prices have gone up in odd, scattershot ways. To the point where it doesn't make sense coming here anymore.
Sure, it's near The Americana, but guess what? The folks shopping at "Pirch" or "Gucci" aren't your average Goodwill shopper and wouldn't spit downwind of this location. Except maybe during Halloween. Maybe.
I knew it was bad when I found an empty bottle for a fancy Kombucha drink (without a cap) priced for $2.99 in the cup section.
Seriously, WTH? ?

Pricing is pretty shot. I get it, you gotta make ends meet and pay the bills, but at the end of the day, you are a good will thrift store. Even the ones in down town san diego aren't this expensive. However the facility is clean, and everything seems well organized.

The staff here are not welcoming at all, when you ask them - they keep talking to each other and literally laughing in your face!

I went to 2 different Goodwill stores. The one in Glendale was so neat and organized. The one in North Hollywood had a huge selection of things and clothes. Got some great buys at good prices.

Always find what I need. Staff very nice and love the discounts. We use the school discount because my son is in high school and I usually buy clothes for him.

I've been shopping at goodwill for a very long time. Always found amazing stuff for great pirces. I noticed recently that their prices are out of control. I saw a plate from Ikea, which they sell for 1.29. GW MARKED it for 2.99. Per plate. Really? Found a zara shirt that had the tag on it for 19.99. They marked it 24.99. Come GW. You're not Ross or Marshall's. You're a 2nd had store and should have 2nd hand prices.

During my visit to California, I stumbled upon a gem of a Goodwill store that exceeded all expectations. The selection of brand name clothing was impressive, and I happily snagged a couple of pairs of jeans and some cozy turtleneck sweaters to bring back to Chicago. What sets this Goodwill apart is not only the quality and affordability of their items but also the genuinely friendly staff. Their assistance and positive attitude made the shopping experience even more enjoyable. The reasonable prices combined with a diverse array of brand-name treasures make this Goodwill a must-visit for any thrifting enthusiast. Whether you're a local or just passing through, this store is a testament to the hidden gems one can find in thrift shopping. Five stars for a memorable and rewarding shopping spree!

They're currently under renovation. The store is still very shop-able and very organized with very helpful staff. They have designer items behind the counter. Some items have tags on them which is always a plus. There is street parking and parking lots available.

Spacious, but the pricing is ridiculous for used items. I found ramekins for $3 each here and purchased them, and then found new ones at Home Goods for $2.50 the same day. Multiple times I found nice but clearly used items and discovered they were priced way above what would be expected. Unfortunately I’ll visit other stores before this one because it just doesn’t make financial sense.
