Intracommunity has helped me throughout an extremely difficult time. Their equipment is high quality unlike many other DMEs. I spoke with Geraldine personally as there were some issues with my insurance. She helped me resolve all issues I had and had the equipment delivered the very next day. I must say this has been the easiest and most helpful DME company I have ever used. Thank you Geraldine.

The team at Intracommunity is outstanding. My mom's home health requested a hospital bed and a lift from Intracommunity and I must say I was shocked to see how fast and easy the process was. Crystal helped me with my order and called everyday giving me updates. Jose helped set all the equipment and did an amazing job explaining how to operate each equipment. Thank you so much Intracommunity!!!

I just filed a BBB complaint as well but i am also posting this review in case it will help others to avoid this business. To make a very long story short, my father required a 6L at home oxygen concentrator. The hospital that my father was at sent in a prescription clearly stating that he needed 6L. Intracommunity sent us a 5L. Customer Service "Crystal" refused to own up to her mistake and wouldnt transfer me to a manager. Customer service "Donavan" who was the only actually helpful person finally connected me with "Geraldine" and for a second i was hopeful that she was going to be able to help me. Not only was she not helpful but she accused me of falsifying a purchase of an actual oxygen concentrator for my dad and then asked me for the name and number of the place i ended up buying the product from so that she can call them and confirm. If in fact i can prove i was not faking it... She could then help me with a resolution. I refused to provide her with those details because i did not feel like justifying myself to her. Also... Who would make up a story like this? And then..... SHE HANGS UP THE PHONE ON ME! I never once lost my professionalism with her and kept my composure at all times. Yes i was clearly upset.... But i never stopped being professional with her. After this manager Geraldine hung up on me.... I call back only to be routed back to Crystal. Ultimately.... I dont care about the $990 that this place swindled out of me. I am more upset with the way i was treated as a paying customer. Also... I am concerned for other elderly and critically ill patients that are their main customers who probably are mistreated by these people on a daily basis. To the owner.... Kingsley R.... If you ever want to connect with me i am happy to have a call with you. It wont be able the money. I just want you to hear about my experience and perhaps you can retrain your staff. At least train them not to hang up on their customers. This was the 1st time any business manager had ever hung up on me before and i am still pretty shocked.

I’m not sure why there are bad reviews, I absolutely loved their service; one of the very few times where I felt that a company or anyone in health care treated my family like their OWN. Geraldine came to my house herself to help set up some equipment and I’ve never met anyone more passionate about what they do. I wish I could give more stars

We purchased a bed and wheelchair from these people. Sara from this company then called us a month later and verbally harassed and harangued my elderly relative, saying that they demanded $600 over the phone right at that moment, or they were going to come take the bed and wheelchair which my paralyzed aunt is in. She did this to us 3 times, after we had paid in full. She refused to send us an invoice until we gave her a credit card number over the phone, which we refused. Long story short, the losers at this company incorrectly billed Medicare, and then tried to shake us down for another 600. Avoid this company like the plague. Sara needs to be fired.Update: the business has replied to my review below with nothing but falsehoods, as expected. The equipment WAS covered by Medicare, as proven when the rehabilitation center she had been in contacted this equipment company and corrected mistakes made by the people who had done the billing. There was no write off of equipment by this company. There's a reason your reviews all say similar, terrible things. Perhaps you should try to improve from the constructive criticism rather than malign previous customers and call them liars on a public forum.

These people delivered a 24 inch chair to a 38 inch wide person, called it good, and tried to bill medicare for a years rental. When called out on their behavior, they picked up their chair and made no effort to correct their clear mistake. Do not do business with this organization or you will know regret.

I'd give a zero if I could. They gave us a wheelchair through Medicare and the battery died in 6 months. They replaced the battery and now the chair isn't working. They say they only repair or replace if the chair breaks down within a year. So what are we supposed to do for the rest of the four years until Medicare approves another chair? Smells like fraud. Medicare said they are supposed to assist us in repairing the chair . They refuse to assist in any way.

I would never work with this company ever again and I will be advising my fellow home health companies my experience. I was working with Sarah regarding a hospital bed and other supplies for a patient she has so much attitude every time I would call regarding my orders. This company needs to train her correctly on proper customer service.

I would leave no stars if I could. They are VERY unprofessional! Do not use them! They were contracted to provide DME to my elderly mother who just got out of the hospital. They were supposed to bring the equipment the day BEFORE she was being discharged. That did not happen. Instead I rec'd a phone call that the equipment would be delivered the AFTER she returned home. They showed up and demanded payment. No one told me they would be collecting payment upon delivery! They were supposed to leave it the day before discharge in the secured entryway of the house. I told them no one would be home. They said that's fine. There was never a mention to leave payment outside the front door. My mother is elderly and suffering some dementia. She did not understand why they needed money. I thought that would have been billed through the mail, so I didn't tell her to expect to pay for equipment upon delivery. I called their office and spoke with Sarah and then Jeraldine. Both women refused to have the driver return to deliver the equipment and pickup payment. They said they would try to deliver tomorrow. Now, it's 3 days past when I was promised and my mother needs that equipment! I said I had thought they would work us here because of the not being told. I was given the same "no". I mentioned that I would probably not leave a nice review for them. She asked, "Are you threatening us?!". I said, "no, no I am not." She then said, "Well, we are denying your payment." I hung up! Do NOT go through this very unprofessional and uncaring company.

Excellent customer service! Our provider ordered the wrong item for my mom and I needed it swapped for the correct item. After days of getting no help from the provider, I contacted Intracommunity Home Care directly and Crystal was so patient and helpful. We got the replacement item today thanks to her persistence and excellent customer service. Thank you Crystal!

My family and I had an awful experience with Intracommunity Home Care. They are the most insensitive and rude not considering our grief. After we lost a loved one, we got a call from Geraldine who asked to get a wheelchair back that we didn't need anyway but the way she talked to us and her tone that ordered to get it back asap was insulting. They were even expecting a gift/tip from us and I am sure they didn't even pay for it since it was covered by insurance. I definitely won't recommend it and plan on following up with the insurance company to make sure it is returned properly.

Intracommunity Home Care went so many extra miles to help my mother-in-law get a portable oxygen concentrator. Her doctor’s office was having a hard time replying in a timely manner to give her a prescription for the device, so Geraldine at IHC called the office to aid the transaction. After the prescription came through, they made an appointment to thoroughly explain how to use the device, and called back several times to make sure everything was going well. They thought of things my MIL might want before she even brought it up. What’s really hard to express is how comfortable they made her feel during the whole process. In the weeks that followed, my MIL called us to tell us that she was using her increased ease of mobility to get out in her garden and to take walks around her neighborhood. Having such personalized attention during the process made a huge difference in her quality of life.

My family and I have been benefitting from products from Intracommunity Home Care. We are happy to express that their products have been instrumental in ensuring our health and comfort for a while. Their leg pedal exerciser is a component of a family member’s exercise routine to combat mobility challenges and ensure lower body strength and balance. Their quad cane is sturdily built with a firm grip. The company also came through for us during the Covid pandemic. Their mask products provided us with superior protection and eased anxiety with public interactions. Intracommunity Home Care is committed to providing excellent service and care to patients. They strive to ensure each customer is treated with compassion and professionalism to ensure optimal health.

The company said my husband had an open workman's comp claim. It was a lifetime coverage for his knee replacements. I called Medicare and they told me to have them submit a request indicating that my husband was at City of Hope being treated for cancer they refused. We would have to pay for the order. We canceled. Horrible!! How many times has this happened to other people?
