If I could give this location zero stars I would do so. I ordered fabric online last night. I have ordered from this store before without incident. This afternoon, I got an email message that my fabric was ready to be picked up at the Glendale location. I called that location and tried to explain that I had not selected to pick up the fabric. The person with whom I spoke said her name was Lucina. She identified herself as the store manager. Lucina insisted that I had selected the option to pick up the fabric. I explained to her that I had not. She said my only option was to cancel the order and replace the order. After I listened to her, I tried to talk to her. She rudely interrupted me and told me she wanted to talk. I explained that I thought she was done talking. I asked her if I could talk. Lucina then threatened she would hang up on me. She knew that I was aggravated. I told her fine, lets do this your way. I will capitulate to you just to get this straightened out. She then hung up on me. She knew the order was placed at her location and that I would have to cancel with her location. She knew I would have to call her back. I called another location and spoke to a "keyholder" there. He was the acting manager. At first he told me that he could not help me because the order was placed with Glendale. Then, I explained what happened and suggested that he call that store and cancel the order for me. He agreed to do that. It is something he should have thought of on his own. I gave him the order number and other information he requested. I am still waiting for him to get back to me. The person from the other location also told me that if I want the fabric delivered, I would have to go back online and re order. I explained that I ordered online previously. That I had not selected the pick up option. That was a glitch on their end. This has never ever happened to me before when I have shopped online! Never! if there was a mistake with their system, Lucina should have simply helped me resolve this. Instead she put her pride first. Joanne needs to train its staff better. I do not know how this person ever got to be supervisor.

Do not go to the Glendale store. There were only three people staffed for the entire store with only one of those people at the register with over a dozen people in line. Very poorly managed.

Many people wondering through the stores with absolutely no one to help Long, long, long lines at the register with only 1 cashier.Maybe pay employees more and you will hire more and customers will come more often

There is always a long wait and not enough cashiers. The employees are not knowledgeable, they are not helpful. They accept online orders without verifying the availability of the product.

Criminally dirty and understaffed. They know they dominate the market in the area and put in zero effort. The employees themselves are not the problem. Definitely corporate / management. 22 people in line. One cashier

Clean, organized and plenty of parking. I knocked off two stars because the prices here were higher than stated online. Example: a planner on sale from original price $20 was down to 30% ($16). However, in the store, the original price at this location was 29.99 instead.

Although, a large store, their stock isn't out because it appears that either they don't have the payroll or staffing to get their shipments out. I order online and often would have my orders rejected and now I understand why. According to staff they have too many boxes in the back that haven't been opened. They also won't pull product from the back and typically have one cashier. I don't think they understand that putting products out = $$. It's sad, but this is why brick and mortar is dying out and I'm taking my business to Amazon.

Drove 1+ hours to this Joann on Dec 22 to get my girlfriend a Christmas gift. It said online they had it in stock. But when I asked the manager for assistance, she claimed that the product was "in the back" and refused to get it for me. Then proceeded with rude remarks when I told her it was a Christmas gift and that I had driven 30+ miles for the gift. Cannot emphasize enough how rude and unhelpful the manager is here!! Stay away from this location

There are never enough employees here and the employee that are there are clearly overworked. Always a terribly long line. I've even tried doing curbside pickup and they rarely come outside in a reasonable time, if at all. They also never answer the phone. :( Save yourself the headache and go to Michael's.

It’s before Christmas and they have only 1 person working the check registers. A giant middle finger to all the customers waiting. When I mentioned this horrible customer service to my wife, another lady heard me and responded “it’s always like this. 1 person working 365 days a year”. I asked her why she would ever give her business to a company that hates their customers and she didn’t know how to respond. If I could give zero stars, that’s what would reflect their horrible customer service. How much money did it cost them? I know we left when we saw we’d be waiting an hour at least. Do not shop here until they change their ways and care about their customers.

Any store that consistently makes customers wait in this long of line has no real care or respect for them or their employees. This is why other stores and online shops consistently gets our business over Joann and will continue to do so.

Don't come here! long lines for no reason! Always only 1 cashier! Don't come unless you are prepared for a 30 minute wait! A multi million dollar company can afford more cashiers. It's like this every time I come here.! Don't come unless you're prepared for at least 20 to 30 minute wait for no reason! Glendale location on central!
