Literally the best bakery I have been to! I ordered my birthday cake from here and it did not disappoint. Not only was the cake designed beautifully, but it was super fresh, delicious and jam-packed with strawberry jam. Customer service was excellent as well. The employees/owners were very friendly and nice.

We visited on a Saturday morning at 8:30 and they were already sold out of thr conchas we were hoping to try but then they found us two! I also got a biscuit pastry and two bollitas. It was very cheap and it smelled amazing there. The biscuit was fabulous and the conch very fresh but my daughter found them to be sweeter than the ones she is used to. Lots of customers were buying the hot food. I would like to go back but not at 6am..maybe another day.

The moment you walk in everyone is nice and accommodating, plus I had an order that they were able to expedite a little faster which was very nice of them. Chorizo burritos were delish and I can't wait to try more.

Small but good little bakery. It is kind of a hidden gem. Quality is a solid 4/5.

This place is a gem. We have been going here years. Authentic Mexican bakery with delicious bread. Morning Saturday routine is to get some sweet bread and breakfast. Prices are very reasonable. Dont know of any other Latino bakery in Burbank. Also we bought 2 birthday cakes and they were delicious and moist ( one was coconut and 2nd was strawberry with chocolate). Be warn they limited amount of bread so they often sell out.

I get my Volvo serviced a few blocks from this place and since I love my mechanic, I tend to drive past this tiny bakery often. For more than a year as I've driven past, I've read the writing they have on the window and I kept reading the words CUBAN SANDWICH over and over and over while telling myself that I needed to stop in and try one. Yet, I just kept driving past. Until today. The wife and I had dropped my old Volvo off at the mechanic bright and early and when I hopped in her car, the usual "What do you wanna eat?" conversation came up. Usually we over-cater to one another and even if one of us doesn't feel like having eggs or a bagel and lox, will simply go along with whatever the other person wants just to keep the peace and actually get to consume food. Sometimes we start having the conversation at breakfast time and don't get to figure it out until noon. Not today my pretties! We parked in the back of the bakery and went in. We were immediately greeted by a young woman who was sweet and very busy putting pastries in the display. She answered some preliminary questions such as "What's a Mexican breakfast sandwich?" and "Do you sell water?"We then ordered said Mexican breakfast sandwich (with no cilantro) and a Cuban sandwich (with no pickles) See? We truly hate pickles and cilantro. We wanna kill pickles and cilantro!!!Anyway, we ate in the tiny dining area and couldn't be happier. There was no ambient music. It was a little hot, but for some reason we loved it. The food was well done. The service was pretty good and the prices were nice. As we ate we talked about how our daughter would love this place and how she would gobble up some of the tasty looking pastries. This spot is good and worthy of further exploration. Next time I go in I will try the potato ball sandwich. The counter girl described it and sold me on it. Go here folks. Support local businesses and help keep a good Cuban sandwich available in Glendale!! We will return and eat more of your stuff.PS. They do sell water. Lol.

Great pastries, sandwiches, and empanadas at a fair price. Los Almendros is as good as Portos at a much better price. There is less selection than Portos, and not as fancy, but I'll take it for the price!

Wonderful family owned bakery. I tried the guava cheese roll and the chorizo breakfast burrito both were delicious. Service excellent. Daughter served me at counter very nice and helpful. Mother was also sweet and helpful. I highly recommend this place.
