Prices are missing on many products most of the time. Almost like it made intentionally so you get confused and pick the pricey item thinking it is half the prices (when the 'half price' is for completely different item. It's a second time I'm getting an item from fruit/vegetable section and later discover it is almost rotten at time of sale. Constant lack of cashiers.

Title: "Disappointing Customer Service at Ralphs Groceries" I recently visited the Ralphs Groceries store located at .211 N Glendale Ave, Glendale, CA 91206. Unfortunately, my experience left much to be desired. The baby food aisle was locked up, and they did not allow me to enter or purchase food for thw baby. Because the employee did not feel like opening the gate. He advised me to visit somewhere else. Very unprofessional employee. In summary, Ralphs needs to step up its game. Better training for employee's,and improved communication. Until then, I'll explore other grocery options. Date of experience: March 7, 2024

Rick was supposed to help with self pay and he was very rude and said is not his job and throw away on the desk my item and when I complained to Mariela the manager , she also approved him this was the worst Ralph ever experience , they don’t look happy with their job and they take it on the customers, no more of Ralph for me.

This is my local store, I come to daily. I Really do not appreciate the cashier who helped me today, Charletta P. Taking her job a little too serious over a 10¢ bag. Walked away from her current customer to stop me over a bag out loud. Acting as if I stole the $100 groceries that I just paid for and bagged myself.

Went to buy a couple of items today, and the 2 aisles of toothpaste, soap etc were blocked off. You had to leave your cart outside, enter that section and pay for those items separately to your other groceries. I hate being treated like a thief when I'm doing my shopping. Abandoned my basket and went to Whole Foods. If theft is an issue, hire some more staff or a decent LPO. This is far more egregious than other stores like Target that lock up their shelves... 2 aisles completely blocked off (which is also a fire hazard) with one small section to enter through, and to have to pay separately to your other groceries? Nope. I'll just shop elsewhere.

They sell expired food - meat is smelly and the color was dark grey - and manager refuses to issue a refund, they refuse to look at the system when the purchase has been done. Manager Michelle is very rude, abusive to customers. Today I saw she was yelling at an old lady and aggressive towards her. Customer service is awful especially when it comes from manager as an example for other employees.

Like everyone else I'm coming here to publicly air my grievances over this stores torturous decision to lock all of its hygienic and personal care products in a time out area guarded by only one cash register. The fact that I now have to stand in two! Different! lines! in an already busy grocery store with notoriously slow staff is just absurd. I'm never buying toiletries here again. Congratulations Ralph's: what you are saving in theft avoidance will now be mitigated by what you lose from people who don't have the patience to deal with your inane toilet paper quarantine zone policy.

Today, on New Year's Day, I went to the Ralph's I have been going to for over 10 years. I had the worst customer service experience of my life. I don't understand how Ralph's continues to employ someone as rude as Charletta, when I have also read previous bad reviews about her, from less than two weeks ago! I understand everyone has bad days but the way she treats customers is unacceptable. She talked to me and my sister as if we are children and made the biggest scene in front of everyone right before checking us out. She was already being rude to the customer in front of us. The first time she was rude to us, I let it slide. We were more than 4 feet away from the man checking out in front of us, when she very aggressively told us to back up, we listened right away and backed up as much as we could because people behind us had already placed their items down. Charletta has the nastiest and most sarcastic demeanor and should not be employed in customer service. Even the man in front of us said we were not troubling him and he didn't feel like his space was being invaded. He finished paying and was placing his last bag in the cart so we moved up again because it was our turn when she began raising her voice and acting aggressive, speaking to us like we are incompetent. At this point I was getting very upset at the way we were being talked to, so I asked her what her problem was and why she was being so rude, and that set her off even more. She ran off angry leaving us and the customers behind us with no cashier, while she went to go complain to her coworkers about what had just happened. Then a man came over to take her place who claimed to be the manager and as I'm complaining to him about the situation, he is acting very nonchalant, saying he will "talk to her", which didn't help at all because they are just letting her treat their customers in such a terrible manner without any repercussions.

Charletta P absolutely berated me when I went to her line today. I asked for alcohol and she went to go up lock case, I followed her so she could get the right size, she turned to me and told me "you followed me because you thought I wouldn't bring you the right size". As in questioning her competence. I simply wanted to do my due diligence so I got the correct size. Horrible interaction... I can't believe she talks that way to customer

The people who work here work hard. The problem is that the store is severely understaffed. It's odd because other Ralphs are in much better shape. Don't know why this one is in such bad shape. And again, you can tell the people working here are all doing a lot. So it's not that. Ralphs -- hire some people!

The floral department is open whenever they decide it should be open. It says everyday 8am-8pm. But most of the time there is nobody to help you.

A week before Xmas, 8 pm, one live checker and a line 15 deep at self check out. 15 minutes later another live lane opens. All the employees look tired. All the prices are high. Ralph's - if you hate your customers and employees so much, just close the store and let us go to a place that cares.

I wish I could give zero stars. The staff is so rude and careless about customers, that I will NEVER shop at Ralph’s again. The closed the store 15 minutes early and it became a major issue. They would not let me speak to a manager, and none of the cash registers were closed for that 15 minutes. I was told I couldn’t purchase a carton of eggs.
