I am a long time Robbins Brothers customer-- going back to when they had stores in malls. My husband and I have purchased A LOT at this glendale store. The sales reps have always been warm, kind and helpful. I am a knowledgable client with high expectations. Today I went to have my ring and earrings cleaned and inquire about a necklace repair. It is the first time I've felt like I didn't really belong in the store. Each time I've gone in to have my ring cleaned and checked, the reps ask if I purchased the ring there -- and they believe me. Today, after telling the associate why I was there, she immediately asked to write down my name and phone number. I asked if that was to check on the purchases and she nodded, then quickly added, and to get information in case I move forward with the repair. The repair was simple -- to add a jump ring to a Roberto Coin necklace chain and make sure it was 18 inches in length. I even had the jump ring. They wanted to charge me $50 to add MY jump ring to the existing chain -- so no new parts but likely solder ring shut. I thought that was too steep so I said forget it. Roberto Coin is an established Italian designer, with a lifetime guarantee. I'll send the chain to them for repair. I was simply trying to shorten the repair time since Coin located in New York. I don't think I'm done with Robbins Brothers -- they have many wonderful associates but it will be a while before I return.

I am sadly writing this review after being a long time customer, with my husband initially purchasing my ring here back in 2007. We came back and upgraded it (to a 3.5 carat stone) and spent quite a bit of money on this in May of last year. I was over the moon with our new purchase, as we also bought an entirely new setting. One month later, I heard my diamond move - it was loose and when I'd move my hand I'd hear it shake. I took it back, they said it was fine and fixed it and gave it back. I went back THREE times since, once because the prong pulled and completely lifted and the diamond almost fell out. I was told each time by many different people (including the general manager) it was fine and I didn't need to be concerned. I sent my husband in at the beginning of last week because it did it yet again. I wanted a refund and figured maybe it would be better if he handled it. He said there was a friendly and knowledgable person onsite, I believe a GM from another store that advised that my setting wasn't big enough for the diamond size. Why did it take all this to advise this? I had asked EACH TIME if I needed more prongs, etc. Now, they took my ring and said it was being sent back to the manufacturer but I haven't so much as even received a phone call. I am discouraged, disappointed and frustrated at the lack of follow up and feel this should be considered when you are returning your jewelry there for service.

Brought my ring for replacement of loss baguette diamond last October. They’ve charged my card for the repair on 10/18/2023.The year is almost over, and i haven’t heard from them. I called their customer service number but no one had answered the phone.Got my wedding ring from them in 2003, and i can tell that their customer service really change from excellent service to worse one.

This review is long overdue! My fiancé proposed to me about 6 months ago with the most beautiful custom made ring from Robbins Brothers. My engagement ring contains diamonds from my fiancé's parents wedding rings that most jewelers were reluctant on customizing, therefore he had trouble finding a place that was willing to help create his vision. After shopping around for rings together to find the perfect design, he ultimately chose this place because of the amazing customer service & quick turnaround time to get the ring customized. Bariga was AMAZING throughout the whole process! She knew & understood the importance of having my in-laws a part of my ring & really went above & beyond to make it happen, so of course we went back to her to customize my fiancé's wedding band as well. His included diamonds from his parents & grandparents wedding rings, which was a bit trickier, but Bariga is so creative & was able to include all 4 diamonds in my fiancé's wedding band. The jewelers here are top notch! We couldn't have chosen a better place to start our journey as husband & wife! Thank you Robbins Brothers for the hospitality, service, and professionalism!

Antonio was absolutely fabulous ...again! He sold my husband our wedding ring almost 3 years ago and happened to be the person to help me today when I went back to use our warranty for one of the tiny diamonds that had fallen out. Antonio was the utmost professional, as was the jeweler who fixed the ring on the spot, since it was such a tiny job, and he was able to do it so quickly. I love this company! I love my ring! I highly recommend this company, and Antonio!!!

None stop false information. They use predatory practices be aware of Them selling you cheap diamonds And giving you useless false information. My lady and I stopped by and got dizzy from Treatment. You will pick out a ring to set the stone on, After that.. It's used car salesmen tactics and treating you like you are flat out dumb. Be for warned, look at the stone under the microscope and see and learn for yourself Why these people are terrible.

Where to begin?!?! It all started on a beautiful weekday sometime in May of 2023. I was driving around beautiful jewel city (Glendale). So I thought to myself, it sure would be nice to get an idea of how much an engagement ring would cost so I can propose to my girlfriend within this year. So, as I passed by Robbins Brothers, I said, "What the heck? Let's give it a shot. I parked my car and proceeded through the first set of glass doors and approached a second set where you need to be buzzed in. I was quickly buzzed in and greeted by a wonderful young woman by the name of Sara K. She immediately welcomed me and asked me my name and what brought me in. I looked at her with a confused, hesitant face and said I want to look at an engagement ring for my girlfriend but emphasized, "I'm just looking. " she responded," Great, do you have a date as to when you'd like to propose, do you know what you want?" I thought to myself, are you kidding me, lady? I'm just browsing. Lol. But I told her I was unsure and was just browsing she wasn't pushy or persistent she comforted me and said well let's look around. So we walked the store and I had an idea of the ring I wanted for my girlfriend. I expressed that to her, and she took me directly to the display case with the ring I had described. It was the Verragio display case. I then told her how I wanted it, and I instantly knew this was the ring. So we talked for a few minutes, and she offered to show me the financial portion of the deal with no commitment. We went to her office, and she explained the lab grown diamond VS real diamond part of the deal, and I decided real diamond suited me better. The financial portion went great, and the tricky part was to come right after. She said, "Do you know her ring size?" We went back to thoughts in my head... lady, I just came here to look!!! Lol. I responded with "no, No, I don't," so she brainstormed an idea as to coming in the next few days with my gf to browse, not knowing how I'd get my gf to not catch on that I had already secretly bought the ring. A few days passed, and the weekend approached. I told my gf hey I want to go check out rings so if in the future I decide to propose I have an idea of what you want she was hesitant but agreed telling me that going in that store was cruel and a tease. I said, "Come on, if it works, I'll take it." we went, and the same process walked through 2 sets of doors. This time, I was greeted by another young woman. I then said ohh I called in and had an appointment with Sara." I had to play it off like it was my first time there. They paged her she came out and played the part so well of not knowing me. She walked my GF through the whole store and displayed a countless amount of rings and at the end she took her to the section of rings to the ring I had chosen earlier that week and she instantly made my GF fall in love with the ring I already chose she made her try it on and got her ring size we had accomplished the hardest part of the deal. She then gave me a look and said what's next do we talk numbers in front of my GF I agreed my GF knew that she couldn't go to the back to know the finances part so I went alone and finalized everything. We then walked out, and we gave a sob story to my GF that it wasn't in the plans at the moment. Unknowingly, it was the waiting game of getting the ring. Well, I got the ring back within a month and proposed 2 months, and she said YES, but I couldn't do all of this without the key player, Sara. THANK YOU! YOU'RE THE REAL MVP!

I had a ring repaired here, and it was a simple process with fair prices and an experience solid enough that I will come here again in the future should I need an upgrade. Sara helped me, and she kept it quick and efficient--no awkward upselling, no cringe-inducing moments, just professionalism.

I scheduled an appointment to look at engagement rings with my girlfriend. I was very clear that our goals were to see singular solitaire settings from 1 to 1.5 so that we could determine what size was best for her finger and to look at the differences in quality between diamond grades in person. Upon arrival, we were brought into the salesmen's cluttered office away from the counters and given a sales pitch that literally started with " I do not mean to toot my own horn but I'm the best salesman at this location". He went on for about 10 minutes pitching his "expertise" in selecting diamonds and why Robbins Brothers is the "best". He then proceeded to show us 3 different solitaire settings with 2ct diamonds which were much larger than what we were looking for. We explained again we that were here to see stones 1 to 1.5ct . The salesman proceeded to ask a few more questions one of which was have we shopped around anywhere else? I brought up our local jewelry store and a few online retailers such as James Allen. The salesman was immediately triggered by the mention of an online retailer and left the office to get something. At this point, we almost walked out. The salesman returned after a few minutes and continued into another pitch where proceeded to show us 2 diamonds of the same color and clarity but one had many inclusions while the other was cloudy. This somehow tied into how he is able to select the best stone for us even though there was a clear difference between the diamonds to the naked eye. After this, he finally showed us a few diamonds in our size range. It was clear he was pushing us towards the 1.5ct even though my girlfriend was happy with how the 1ct looked on her finger. The envelopes he was pulling the diamonds out of clearly showed the prices which my girlfriend did not need to see. I really did not want to write this review, but my girlfriend and I were so bothered by the overall experience. We spent maybe 10-15 minutes looking at rings and the rest of the hour on a sales pitch. It felt like we were shopping for a used car instead of an engagement ring.
