Sephora in general is my go to for make up. I love their services. I’m a minimalist and I only get my eyeliner done. Only in Glendale they want to force you to book a 60 minute session for literally just eyeliner and foundation .
It needs them 15 - 20 min to set the eyeliner but they want you to pay for 1 hour to set foundation which usually takes 5 min ( max)
Both in BEverly hills and Newport beach after my eyeliner was done, the make up artists gracefully asked if I would like anything done and I asked for foundation and they were so generous and kind about it.
Today I called and spoke to Maya who is a manager at Glendale and kindly asked why I need to pay for 60 min for a service that’s 2 steps , eyeliner and foundation .
Let me just say I got the same attitude and rudeness that I always get from this location .
I’m just sad that my favorite make up artists works there ! Sabrina is the best with eyeliners.
I’ve been going there for years and they still can’t find me on their system every single time. If you call with any kind of questions or to ask for a specific make up artists the confusion and amount of transferred calls is just insane .i would have to physically go just to make sure an appointment is set with the make up artist that i want ! So disappointing to have people who are just not meant to work in the service industry ruin your relationship with brands and locations and businesses you otherwise love .
Sorry Sephora, this is a disappointment ?

Used to buy some beauty products there. An amazing consultant helped me with my purchases advising me what to choose. She was very knowledgeable and professional. And what was more important she was so nice and amable. Her name is Linda G. Thank you Linda!

Workers here are usually very kind and helpful. However this time I was left perplexed and insulted at this one worker who is a shorter white woman with bobbed hair, telling me that I can’t use this specific eyeshadow because my own eyes are too “sunken”. I asked what she meant and it took a while for her to clarify and say she didn’t mean it in a rude way, but didn’t apologize. I bought the shadow anyway.

vianney with the big back talks too much about her failed business and only being allowed to hang out or spend holidays with her boyfriend if he feels like it.. and they live together! like old girl stand up! she’s a passive aggressive bully, doesn’t respect personal space, and it’s like spritzes of doodoo flying out of her mouth whenever she talks.. also wish she would knock off that deep fake squeaky voice or maybe it just sounds like that bc she has no neck.. idk??

Best customer service of all time. ?
When I get to the store, it’s jam packed with people and I have no idea where to go or which section is where. I might as well be in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean.
Luckily, I ask the right person for help. I show her my Instacart order to inquire where I might find each particular item.
She reads my order and then, without hesitation, careens and zigzags and chassés throughout the store like an acrobat and completes my order in two minutes. She shopped for me!!! I almost cried.
I did not get her name but she has dirty blonde hair and freckles, and she said she was an assistant manager. Well, she should be CEO next.
Whoever you are, I hope you win the Powerball twice! You are an amazing person!!

Carlos is the best! He help me to find foundation shade for my skin and introduce me to a Rose inc foundation that I really really love now. I came in to get my skin IQ thing and he explained more about my skin and concerns! Carlos saw how the shade that was recommended by the IQ result is not the perfect match for me and he recommended another similar shade and boy, he's just the expert on that! His pick fits more on my skin rather than the IQ results! I'm not a foundation wearer either and I used to care less about foundation but I know basic stuff on that (primer first, brush vs. Beauty blender, etc). I also have combo dry oil skin and my skin is just loving it. First of all, I have read reviews that some primer won't blend well and Carlos also told me that primer isn't necessary. Yes it's a medium coverage, and I prefer that than full coverage because it gives your natural look but flawless ;) He also gave me some recommendations on other skincare brands that I'm not familiar with but fits my skin needs. He also answered my questions about differences between brands that I have been watching. I have never invested a $54 worth of foundation before but I appreciate Carlos to help me find what fits my skin and it has clean ingredients too!

Went into this Sephora today with my two friends and was followed around the store the entire time by an employee. Felt uncomfortable the entire time and couldn’t get the things I wanted. A security arrived in the store and left the second I left. We called the store and the manager was very rude on the phone. I won’t be returning.

I asked one of the sales associates (woman), if she could help me find a good budget friendly sensitive skin face lotion, she showed me one product that was $95... I know for some it may not be much, but for me $95 is more than I would like to pay for a face lotion. I stayed and took the time to do my own research and found a lotion for $39. This is my second day using it, so far I like it... I guess the sales associates are not there to help with product suggestions or knowledge... Maybe just to take payments, stock and restock... The associate could have said, I am not familiar in this area, but let me see if one of the other associates are.

Awful experience tonight with Kevin who is a queer. He and two women were very disrespectful to me and I was just a customer and did nothing at all to deserve to be treated this way by employees of this establishment. Sephora should look into training their staff to respect their customers.

Tyler had the best manner for us.. help my daughter and I find a middle ground and separate want from need. She was able to help treat my daughter's issue instead of masking it.. thank you Tyler
