My daughter went to this school for almost 3 years from about April 2022-May 2025. Last November, there was an incident with our daughter who attends the school. She came home saying that Ms. E put her on time out, she put her on the bench “too hard”. I planned on having a conversation about this with the school the next day. That night, I was helping my daughter use the bathroom, (she was 4 at the time) and I noticed a small bruise on her back. I asked her how Ms. E put her on time out. She grabbed my arm and shoved me to sit down. Ms. E used enough force on my daughter to leave a small bruise on her back from the bench. I spoke to my ex about this and we decided to have a conference with the owner and the teacher. The teacher Ms. E denied using force, was flustered while explaining herself. And the owner Mr. B reassured us that there had been no complaints about Ms. E before. From November until May, I had checked in with the teachers about my daughter and her day. There had been no other issues. In June my daughter was going to participate in the graduation ceremony, but the week before, I was informed of other stories from other parents. Ms. E had grabbed another child and left bruises on his arm. Other stories had been that she and possibly other teachers had been wiping the students too hard, so hard that students would stop using the restroom at school. I heard stories of how some of the children were afraid of Ms. E, and how some children’s behavior changed after attending the school, showing more aggressive behavior at home. Lunches were being thrown away before the students could finish. Some of these stories, my daughter had also experienced and I confronted the teachers about it when it was happening. They had reassured me that they would wipe more softly and allow more time for lunch. I believed them, however after hearing these stories, I worry that I did not take my daughter out of the school soon enough. There was also a report made about Ms. E in 2023, which means that the owner, Mr. B had lied about her not having any complaints. I do not know why this teacher Ms. E has not been fired. I would not recommend this school to anyone. It seems that it is not a safe environment for children.

This review is so long overdo. My daughter attended Learning Place from the age of just turning 2 to 5 years old. Bringing her when she was 2 was the hardest but best thing we decided to do as parents. I was STILL in the thick of SEVERE postpartum depression and I felt like I had finally found a place where I felt comfortable leaving my daughter for hours. They made sure not only my daughter felt welcome but that us as parents felt a relief too. I constantly got picture the first month to ease my anxiety.
The facility was ALWAYS clean and maintained even with the diapers that are constantly being changed. My daughter was so prepared to start Kindergarten because of what she learned at Learning Place and was noticeably more confident in the new material that she would learn. Learning place has invested so much in materials and activities that are not only fun for the kids but educational.
Ms. Enereyda and Ms. Veronica are the two teachers who were there consistently in the time we were there and I know me and my daughter miss them dearly since we have left. The directors Mr. & Mrs. B are so involved in the whole program and they treat the kids like an extension of their family.
Learning place was the best investment we made and if our family is ever blessed with another baby we will definitely be returning. Can't speak highly enough about this place.

We love this preschool so much! My son is attending LPP since March of this year and he loved it. Mr B, Mrs E and Mrs Veronica are all very warm and kind - they made my son feel loved and cared for! We hate to leave LPP but we relocated outside of Glendale and didn’t have choice but to move school. Nevertheless, I will not get tired recommending LPP to my friends living in Glendale and Burbank Area. Thank you so much teachers for taking such good care of my son. He has learned and grown so much from you. We are so thankful for all you have done and for loving our family just as we love you!

I am not a person who writes reviews. But I want to share my experience. My two boys used to go there. They already graduated. The most important thing for me was that the teachers are very professional, caring, loving. Comparing with other preschools, I can definitely say The Learning Place Preschool is of the of the best. I highly recommend.

We happened to find this school post-pandemic for our daughter and loved it so much we enrolled our son. The teachers are very encouraging and nurturing, and helped our kids find their confidence. They really go above and beyond. The school was great for our kids and the parents with lots of communication. The summer programming is also quite fun and I also enjoy the pictures they send through the app. This place is really special.

We enrolled our 4 year old here after his original school shutdown down the street and we couldn’t have found a better place for him to attend. All the staff from teachers to directors are amazing. They have a well run program here and definitely recommend to anyone looking for a great place to send their kids to!

My son has been going to this school since July of last year. He was just 2 at the time. The teachers are patient and loving. He loves Mrs. E and Mrs. Vero. He made so many friends there. Every day he wakes up asking if he is going to school. He loves it there.

This school is beyond amazing, my oldest son attended 5 years ago and my youngest 3 years ago until current. I have seen nothing but progression starting with the wonderful teachers and how much they truly care and show love. Besides compassion, the learning system and activities they provide for our children are absolutely amazing. The owners are also very involved on a personal basis. Hands down to Ms E and Ms Vero for being the best out there!! Thank you for everything The Learning Place has shown and continue to do so. ?

My daughter attended The Learning Place for about 2 years (age 2-4). We had a wonderful experience there. We toured a few preschools but we didn't want a home daycare and some of the more institutionalized schools were incredibly expensive. The Learning Place was a nice in-between where it was more structured than a home daycare but less expensive than a more institutional school. At around $1,000 a month for 7am-6pm program we thought it was a great deal. The school has a nice outside playground with shade and cushioning a nice little playground. In our time there they did upgrade the playground to have shade and padding which was nice. Inside it is very clean and they separate the kids by age. There are two doors between the outside and the school so it is secure. They have an iPad check in and check out system. We chose the Learning Place because the director, Ms. Enereyda (Ms. E) is incredibly warm and friendly. I can't say enough positive things about Ms. E. We also liked that she speaks both Spanish and English and we could chat with her in Spanish. The other teachers like Ms. Veronica and Ms. Melina are incredibly warm and friendly as well. We always had very positive interactions with the teachers. We always felt that our daughter was in good hands at The Learning Place. I initially signed her up here because I was working in Glendale. After a year I began work somewhere else but kept her at Learning Place even though we lived in Sherman Oaks. We liked this place very much. Overall - - I highly recommend the Learning Place. We loved our 2 years there.

Ben going there since our daughter was 3 to almost 6. She made so many friends and lives all the teachers. The updated the way we sign the kidsnin and out and now they can send us pictures of the kids at school. I lived this new feature. They have very nice size indoor school area and a bid outdoor area with so many toys and a small jungle gym. Before the age of 6 my daughter can write her name among many other things and can add and started to learn subtraction. We loved our time at The Learning Place Preschool!!

The Learning Place Preschool is an excellent daycare. We had a total of 4 kids that attended the day care and they all loved. The teachers are very caring, they go above and beyond to make sure that the kids are well taking cared. The building has been completely remodeled in the past year, and the interior and exterior looks great. The place is very clean, which is very important in my opinion. Their curriculum is very good. One of my kids just graduated from the daycare this past July and I fell he has a very strong foundation to start his pre-school this August.I definitely recommend The Learning Place Preschool if you are in search of a daycare for your family.

Plenty of space to run around, inside, outside, and shaded. Very kind Miss E. I felt warm-hearted vibes. Reasonably priced but also a good value. Plenty of fun activities like water play, puppet show, and dress up. Private stall for tiny toilet. My daughter loves this place. Her reading skills are blowing my mind. Tomorrow is Halloween and there is a parade of costumes.
