I walked in one day and Alvart was the stylist assigned to me. She was absolutely amazing! She read my mind and was able to give me the exact haircut I wanted! Her expertise and professionalism stand out! I went back after a few months to get a bang trim and will definitely be returning in the future for all my hair concerns. Highly recommend Alvart!

I had an appointment with Alvart today and she received me earlier to do a quick consultation, breakdown the process and even the bill beforehand. She took really good care of me and made sure I was happy with my haircut, balayage and the treatment my hair desperately needed. The cherry on top is she did a great job styling it too. Great service I did my highlights and blow dry and I didn’t know she does eyebrows as well so I try and I’m very happy with my results! Stylist name is Alvard she is located inside jcpeny hair salon in Glendale!!!

Tamara was wonderful. She cut my hair better than anyone has and it was so cheap. She cut layers like no one ever has. Thank you. She is my only hairstylist from now on.

My sister referred me to the JCPenney Hair Salon, and I absolutely loved it! The salon is very clean and has a welcoming atmosphere. Everyone was super professional and friendly.
I had my hair colored, cut, and blow-dried by Lili—and she is amazing! She’s not only incredibly skilled but also a true professional. Lili really takes the time to listen to what you want and explains what she can do to achieve it. Every step of the way, she made sure I was happy, and if I wasn’t, she adjusted things without hesitation.
My hair turned out exactly how I wanted it—better, even! I couldn’t be happier with the result. I will definitely be coming back and recommending this place to my friends and family!

Lili is so amazing! I’ve had some pretty bad experiences with haircuts & lili was very comforting and said we would go through my haircut together. I showed her some inspo pics, we talked about the different lengths of layers & my bangs. she was very kind in teaching me the importance of different types of shampoo and conditioner. she recommended me a few brands & shortly after my haircut i went and made the switch to paraben free shampoo & conditioner!!! i would 100% recommend lili to everyone!! she js a treasure!!!

I had an appointment at 12 pm last Sunday and Diane E. showed up at 12:15 pm. I saw her and she said, Hi, did you want a cut or color today?” Like umm, how about an apology for being late? She did not apologize or anything. She just went about the haircut like nothing. She cut it crooked too. She did a blunt cut and didn’t even ask if I wanted the ends thinned out. I guess that’s what I get for a $30 haircut. At the end of the service, she said, Renee right? Like, ok? You didn’t bother to know my name before the haircut or during.. and just double checked after? Not going back at all. The only good thing the JCPenney salon has, are the hair products. They are good and I like that there are sales. Actually, I will say that I had my haircut previously by Alvart and she was super nice and even text me her next availability. So, thank you Alvart!

I traveled to CA from FL to visit my son last year and decided to make an app at JCP to do my hair. I had to cancel the appointment and then I received a call from Lilia to check on me and offered to assist me any other time. Just for that detail and went next day and I met one of the best hair stylist I had in my life. Lilia is extremely professional and have plenty of knowledge and customer service skills. She listened at me and advice me to received an excellent treatment for my hair. I was fascinated with the results and promise to come back. Almost a year later I was excited to make another app with her. She was there and did my hair and a cut again. She goes above and beyond on all she does. From now on I will visit the salon every time I travel to CA. Thanks Lilia! You are the best! Call for Lilia if you want a great service!

Alvart has been doing my hair for almost 3 years now. I feel like there's nothing she can't do! For example, I'm a natural red head, so red has always been my go-to color. Red is tough, and every time she did my hair it looked so natural and I always got complimented. We took a “blonde journey” together all last year, I absolutely loved it…but I started to miss my red. We worked through a plan together to baby step back into it.
I love how patient and personable she is. She really takes the time to go through everything and break things down so there's no surprises. It’s still early in the “going back to red journey” but so far I’m loving it. The blonde doesn’t seem to be ready to leave! Highly recommend :)
I included the blonde she did and now the red roots (green plaid photo) is where we’re at right now.

How do you mess up a haircut that I asked for MEDIUM LENGTH below my chest. And you give me a short wolf cut that’s touching my shoulders. This is disappointing Anahit, I don’t know how you can mess up the length. Then you know what’s funny, you said that my mother said “oh cut her hair short” when my mother clearly didn’t say that. This is unacceptable of you to blame my mother of your poor memory. My mother said and I quote “cut my daughter hair MEDIUM LENGTH”. I’m never coming back again.

I'm a little late to this review but WOW. I was scheduled with Alvart and I dont think I'll go to anyone else. I have VERY long hair. As in it reached to the mid of my gluten. Usually salons will just do the cut, blow dry until it was mostly dry, and then leave. In between they would also work on other clients. I've had some complain about my hair length as well. Alvart was AMAZING with me. She was so kind, patient with my hair, blow dried it completely AND styled it. No one has ever taken the time to style my hair before. We also made great conversation. She was fun and lighthearted. I think its important to connect with someone who is cutting my hair, and I've never felt this comfortable with anyone else before. She even recommended a moisturizing treatment and my hair feels sooooo soooo good! We o nly took off about 5 inches so she still had so much hair left to work on but I am so so happy. Highly recommend!
