Sam is an absolute legend. I have a 95 Volvo 960 that I adore and never want to give up. I had 3 different shops tell me I likely had an impending head gasket replacement ahead of me after my car started running rough. Took it to Sam and got the correct diagnosis of power stage failure and had it fixed within 2 days saving me thousands of dollars. Shirley in addition was so kind and helpful every time I called. As long as I'm in the area, I can't imagine going to another shop. Do yourself a favor--if you have a classic volvo, go here and get everything done right by someone who knows these cars like the back of their hand and takes incredible pride in the work he does and making sure the customer understands and is on board throughout the process. I can't thank you enough, Sam and Shirley!

I brought my S60 in last year. They charged me $140 to do the diagnostic, which takes 15 minutes. They said they needed to order the evap sensor, then never called me again. It was a total waste of my time and money. Dealerships don't charge you for diagnostics when you service the vehicle. It's a common courtesy that this shop was not willing to do. I'll never go back here.

I can't recommend Volvo Pit Stop enough. Sam and his team, including his wife, are just amazing. I really appreciate how honest, straightforward, and caring they are. I had brought my 2007 S60 for intensive care. It had issues spanning many years that had stumped generalist car mechanics. Sam was so honest, knowledgeable, and walked me through every step comprehensively. Considering how Sam was able to get straight to the heart of the issue, the quality and care they offered me was honestly life-changing. Your car will be in the best hands with them.

Sam is an honest non-nonsense guy and you can tell he exudes a passion for these cars. I brought my V60 in with a frustrating electrical problem and after a lot of sweat and some back and forth, he was able to find and fix the problem. I appreciate his patience and candor in the face of an irate customer who was not the easiest person to deal with.What stood out the most was his upfront demeanor and willingness to solve the issue regardless of the challenge.

I went to Sam and his family when I was in a pinch. He delivered to the fullest. A year later, I had to drive LA to Miami and he did exceptional work once again. I truly don't know how anyone can own a Volvo and NOT love the results from this family. Not only did they ease my stress, but they made me feel like one of their own sons. I used to work sales and leasing for Volvo and I can truly say Volvo Pit Stop is a one of a kind shop with people who truly care for your best interest.I will forever be grateful to Volvo Pit Stop for helping me when I needed it most. Hands down the most honest and upfront mechanic I have ever spoken to. Everyone I spoke to was extremely friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable.I live in New Jersey and had a pre-purchase inspection done on a Volvo in the area. I was given videos of every thing wrong with the car, no matter how big or small the problem was. After the videos, they had called me back and walked me through every single problem and explained each to me, as well as gave me a breakdown of how much they would cost to fix while pointing out what would be crucial to fix immediately.All I can say is that I wish they were located on the east coast! If you own a Volvo in the area that needs work, this is the mechanic to go to.

Mom & Pop business, they are both very sweet people.They were up front about pricing. Also they were Honest about everything and my option.Felt like they actually cared. Very impressed with Sam and his wife and Volvo Pit stop. I wish they worked on all makes of cars.
