A simple deposit to set up a High Yield savings account was made difficult by this credit union's policies, systems and basic ineptitude. In short, when I looked at my newly opened account on line that I funded with $1,000, the listed Avail. Balance was -$10,000 (NEGATIVE!!) & a Current Bal of $0. Odd right? Also, the account # listed was NOT the account # the CU said it should be. Even more strange. When I discussed these abnormalities with the Asst Branch Mgr the next business day, I received an explanation that all the "wrong numbers" were all related to internal account entries, not my specific savings account. Why would I need to see "back office" values and accounts...I don't but ACCU's systems are programmed this way. When asked to see the screen that pertained to my specific account, the Asst. Mgr. said that TWO High Yield accounts had been set up. That was the final "red flag" for me, and I asked her to please close my account as I don't trust ACCU to properly manage this account due to all the "red flags" that occurred opening this savings account. My advice to all is stay far, far away from ACCU. Their systems & policies are confusing at best, and staff are apologetic but can't fix the basic flaws with their accounting and customer policies. (I'm a retired Sr. Bank Compliance Auditor and know well what should, and should NOT, appear on a customer's on line account screen. Banks and credit unions both have the informational requirements when presenting customer specific account info.)

Just bought a car using Autoland. This is a car buying service which you can access through the credit union. First time purchasing a car this way. It was seamless and the rep was so helpful-- I highly recommend buying your car this way. They have access to many dealers which gives them a wide array of vehicles to choose from.

I wouldn't give this place any stars! Do not waste your time with this bank. I have a loan with them and it's not big, I've made every payment for the last year, and I missed one month because I just lost my sister and it slipped my mind. They waived that late fee for me But I still made my payment a day late and a large amount. Thinking it was for the 2nd month too. Come to find out they have been trying to get a hold of me because of the "late payment" they finally got a hold of me and told me that I missed the month of June! SO then I explained how I spoke with someone last month thinking I already made that payment. Well I guess there was a miss communication between me and one of that rep. So I kindly asked MS. GONZALES (supervisor in collections) to see if that fee could be waived because of that miss communication. She then said NO, and didn't even care to help & all she cared about was me paying my bill. I don't mind making a payment since I've always made a payment for the last year! So that same night I go to the atm to make a deposit and my card isn't working. Now there's a line behind me. So I leave. I go to another credit union bank to make the deposit with my newborn baby (1st time mom) and then again can't use my card. So at this point I feel like a complete idiot. I then try using my app and it says my account is DISABLED. I then drive back home pissed, and wait till the next day to call the bank once again. I talk to ms. Gonzales again and explain what happened, and ask why my account would be disabled. She states " because when we can't get a hold of a customer WE CLOSE THEIR ACCOUNTS TO ENFORCE THEM TO GO INTO A BANK AND MAKE THE PAYMENT" So I raise hell because I just spoke with her the night before!!!! So why the hell would they close my account and says "it wasn't her" she was the only person I spoke with.. She then says "well you're going to have to go in a bank to make a payment." NO HELP. I rose hell again because why the hell close someone's account after you, a supervisor just spoke with me. & I attempted to make the payment, and had to go to Two different banks looking like an idiot with my baby... DONT USE THIS BANK. SCHOOLS FIRST IS A BETTER ONE!

It's been so many years since the first day I walked into the credit union- and they've been so consistent with integrity and honesty. That's most important to me. Anyone who helped me was kind and friendly. I even had the opportunity to work with a couple of the higher ups. One was named Eva. She is up front and clear with her communication. I knew my decisions were safe being guided by Eva. I'd highly recommend this credit union to anyone.

I have been very happy with Americas Christian Credit Union! I've been a member for years and now my daughter joined and my son already has an account. I've loved working with Vanessa in the past, she was so helpful in the branch.

New to ACCU. So far, the customer service at Glendora location is like a fresh breathe of air. From the application process, all the staff members working there have stellar customer service; knowledgeable and very helpful in making all the steps are complete with multiple follow-ups. Shout-out to Ms. Spears, she's absolutely a gem to work with; very patient, personable and diligent in getting my checking account securely opened. Since I'm a Christian, I'm glad to be a member of a bank that represents my God-faith commitments in my finances.

Will charge you $2 fee for using an ATM machine that is designated as a Non Co-Op machine even though there is no financial loss for them. Meaning that if you use an ATM that does not belong to a credit union who is not a member of the Co-Op for ATM's then ACCU will charge you a $2 fee for using that machine even though the cost is burdened on the owner whoes machine you are using and that owner is the one who charges you the fee. But ACCU and the other ATM owner will charge you. You get hit on both sides.

This is one of the worst credit unions I've ever dealt with. Even though I work in the industry, and possibly have high standards, common decency, is something that the company lax. I've been in communication several times during the messaging system in the replies that I receive are very rude and abrupt. It seems as if I'm bothering them. Are they there to do a job? Does my membership not pay their paycheck? I understand that accounts "matured" in Covid times, and the rates were low. Now that the rates are much more desirable, they're not willing to negotiate or work with you in anyway. They'll give you a .05% bump up and rate? That's actually an insult. When there are credit unions and banks out there that are paying double or triple what you guys are paying me. I can't wait to get in there and close out my accounts! They used to be very good, great rates excellent beyond excellent customer service, and very polite. As of now I can't say anything positive about them at all if you want to get ripped off go ahead and keep your money here if you wanna make money, find yourself a better financial institution to work with.

The bank offers Poot customer service and the online banking really is terrible. It could be because they are such a small organization. My experience time and time again was not good. I finally closed my business account. Now two years later, I was just notified that I had a personal savings account which they nickel and dined the heck out of by charging monthly fees for the last two years. I talked to a rep and they refused yo refund the fees. I received no notifications of and inactive account, I had no log-in info nor an account number to reference. I'm so disappointed in the institution. would NOT recommend opening an account with them.
