I’m sad to say, I came here to get my nails done for a special event.. the guy that attended me did something completely different then what I asked for.. if he didn’t know how to do it I would’ve appreciated his honestly more then having my nails ruined.

So my manicure came out very sloppy, could've done better myself. The lady only painted part of the nail underneath for the bottom coat, and it shows through on every nail like a line. Also they didn't paint down to the cuticle, looks grown out already and also, there were gouges, noticeable mistakes! This isn't the cheapest nail salon in town so I was expecting it to be professional.

I got a dip manicure for the first time. I made a day-of appointment and was seated quickly. The nail tech was wonderful! Very kind, helpful with my color choice, and detail oriented. I appreciated that she went back multiple times to get them filed just right.

I have been coming here for the past 8 years and always happy and satisfied with the service the staff provides they do everything from nails, to facial waxing, facials, and eye lashes. They have an extensive nail color variety and options from regular polish to gels and dips. Highly recommend this business.

Always take good care of me and my girlfriend. Super friendly staff who always remember us. My girlfriend will literally go nowhere else, and it is a 40-minute drive from her house. They always do a great job and leave her happy with her nails.

Mediocre at best.I went to Gatsby Nails - several times - because I don't do reviews unless I've had several experiences. Therefore, I did have several. If the visit isn't up to par, I want to give them a chance to do a good job. But each time, it was an average to below average experience. I like dip nails. I like them short. Each time, the dip would start cracking or peeling off after just a few days. The pedicures were definitely below average and I've been getting pedis since the late 1980s. I've been trying to figure out why they're so mediocre, as a whole, and I attribute it to the fact that they are very busy and fairly disorganized. The technicians are pushed from client to client to client, so when they get to you, they are simply rushing the entire process. No care is taken, no time. I hope that, if they read this, they will improve upon it. The last straw was when I waited about an hour for the technician I had requested once (I had an appointment and still had to wait), so I had a pedicure while I was waiting. When the technician for my hands was finished with the client they'd been working on, the tech was pushed right onto another woman who had only just arrived. I finally had to say something and by then, the tech was so harried and rushed that the job on my nails was poor at best.So... maybe Gatsby has good moments when they're not so busy and actually do a good job, but after six visits on my part, I never saw such a time, sorry to say. Every time I visited, my service was mediocre at best. Consumer beware.

UPDATE: 2 months of this awful infection and having trouble walking and going to doctors. I had to go on antibiotics. They didn't work. I had to then go to a podiatrist and get a procedure done that included 4 needles in my toe so they could do the procedure. Y'all this is wild. I've never had anything like this happen before. Be careful where you go, how much of your nail they're cutting and how clean it is. The podiatrist confirmed this was absolutely from the nail salon not being clean and them cutting too much of my nail. Again, don't want to be mean but wtf this is insane.

They made my daughter bleed and didn't even try to stop the bleeding before continuing to work on her nails. Very upsetting.

Well, I was in a jam. My regular pedicurist at another salon was unavailable. I thought I'd stop by and try out Gatsby Nails. I figured it was in Glendora, so I probably would receive quality services. But much to my chagrin, I actually had the worst pedicure I have ever had. Pedicurist cut my nails down to the quick. It's so uncomfortable. She just looked up and kept smiling as I said, "please don't cut so much." I don't think she understood what I was saying. She seemed pleased with herself and then when she painted my nails, she didn't just paint my nails, she painted the skin. I thought that she was going to use nail polish remover to remove the extra nail polish but she didn't. She just kept smiling and said, isn't this good like by saying it so many times, it would make it so. NOT. I'm upset with myself because I paid a lot of money. It's sad as I think Glendora it's going downhill. I also at one point went to Gatsby's lash salon in Glendora and absolutely did not understand what I wanted. I brought in a picture and wanted the lashes to look more natural than fake. They put so many eyelashes on that if I blinked, I would fly away. Bottom line, don't go to any Gatsby salons and I hope Glendora will take better care with the business that's coming in to town. I have read some of the reviews that were good and where are those manicurists and pedicurists? I rarely make comments on yelp, but I am truly perplexed. This person was absolutely at amateur at best. Am I am sure I'm not the only one who received horrible services. Where is management and all of this?
