Mediocre at best.I went to Gatsby Nails - several times - because I don't do reviews unless I've had several experiences. Therefore, I did have several. If the visit isn't up to par, I want to give them a chance to do a good job. But each time, it was an average to below average experience. I like dip nails. I like them short. Each time, the dip would start cracking or peeling off after just a few days. The pedicures were definitely below average and I've been getting pedis since the late 1980s. I've been trying to figure out why they're so mediocre, as a whole, and I attribute it to the fact that they are very busy and fairly disorganized. The technicians are pushed from client to client to client, so when they get to you, they are simply rushing the entire process. No care is taken, no time. I hope that, if they read this, they will improve upon it. The last straw was when I waited about an hour for the technician I had requested once (I had an appointment and still had to wait), so I had a pedicure while I was waiting. When the technician for my hands was finished with the client they'd been working on, the tech was pushed right onto another woman who had only just arrived. I finally had to say something and by then, the tech was so harried and rushed that the job on my nails was poor at best.So... maybe Gatsby has good moments when they're not so busy and actually do a good job, but after six visits on my part, I never saw such a time, sorry to say. Every time I visited, my service was mediocre at best. Consumer beware.

I am very happy with my manicure. After a week, not one chip. Beautiful color, too.

I don't recommend this place. I came here because I saw it was rated 4 stars. The girl who did my $75 dollar pedicure did a below average job - and I'm not normally picky! If you are going to charge $60 for a pedicure and then $15 extra for gel at least do a thorough job and make me feel good about my purchase. She didn't cut my cuticles or take off my dead skin even though I paid for it. One day after, there was a bubble in the polish and it just sucks because $75 is a lot for a pedicure you don't like.

Gatsby Nails and the rest of the staff took great care of me. I asked for a soak off of my previous acrylic full set. I showed her a picture of what I wanted next, and she just worked her magic! She was extremely gentle with the process of taking off my acrylics as well as putting on the new set. Her attention to detail is phenomenal, and I can't wait to go back!

Where do I begin? I hate to have to take the time to write this review for a place I have been to many times for a long time. I have a very busy schedule so I occasionally get my nails done when needed. My birthday is around the corner so I called to make an appointment a little over a week in advance for a dip mani and gel pedi. The service and quality at this salon have severely declined over time and this salon has absolutely no value for its customers. I will start by sharing that I asked for a dip mani with a narrow round shape. What I got: very thick dip and the opposite of what I asked for. Not only that, the nail tech used a clear dip instead of only my chosen color, so the color came out incredibly diluted and tacky. She put 4 layers of thick dip powder on each nail, which 2 of the layers were colorless clear dip powder. When I asked her to file it down and make it even, she disrespectfully responded that she couldn't because my natural nail is uneven.. (like there's no way the 4 fat layers of powder could have possibly created such a thick uneven job..) not only that, but the nail lady was beyond rude, the most unprofessional, argumentative and inadequate individual I have ever encountered. It genuinely makes me question her license considering the immensely horrific nail work she did. When I brought this nightmare experience to the owner/manager's attention, she casually said "oh sorry" with the least amount concern. What I have shared isn't even half of the experience, it's just a fraction example of how horrible the nail work, service and individuals are at this place. At the end of the day, management has enabled unprofessional behaviors and below satisfactory work and the only thing I can think of maybe they're burnt out and in need of a lot of time off or plain out retirement. I have an incredibly strong influence within my community and individuals reach out to me for numerous recommendations on many things; I will be sure to stay very far away from this place and I'll guarantee that I'll be sharing the same with others. Lastly, the AC was off- it was 100 degrees outside and they had the door open. Try having a pedi in warm water while sweating. If that's not enough to deter you then good luck. Save your time &money and go somewhere else.

Workers and quality are great. Thank you for the great quality. Update: My gel manicure has now lasted 3 weeks without even chipping. I usually don't get gel because it never lasts more than a few days ( I am not easy on them.) I decided to get gel for a work conference in Vegas, Black Hat and ny nails are still going strong 3 weeks later.

I can't say I feel one way or the other about this place. I went in without an appointment and they assisted me fairly quickly. Helen was my nail tech and while she was very friendly and did a fairly good job I did leave with some cuticle cuts and only 4 days later my gel is chipping when I usually get 2 weeks out of gel nails. The chips not big but it's there. Also have one on my thumb. Not sure if I would give them another try or not.

Got a gel mani and regular pedi. Prices are good. I just wish the gel mani had more time for a hand massage.

I paid for a premium pedicure. The people that work in the salon are very quiet and they are nice. Once I got home, I realized that the cuticles are messy and there were a bunch of thick silicone products on my feet that the lady used. Plus, my feet are super dry so I don't think my skin agreed with their products, which is more my problem not necessarily their problem. The massage I received as part of the premium pedicure was too rough for me. If you are sensitive, I recommend you stay away from the premium package and the massage. The salon was full of repeat customers so many people do enjoy this salon.
