Me and a coworker got written up because I as a cashier let her buy a pair of pants for a homeless man outside the store who had no pants… I didn’t even give her a discount she paid full price. This place is greedy as hell. They also have roaches. FYI. I wouldn’t buy the furniture.

I have been to many thrift stores and try to hit Goodwill wherever I travel. This is by far one of my favorites. Even my teens make sure a stop here is on the agenda while we are here. Great selection, super clean, and so organized it makes my type a brain sooo happy.

Kayla is the most kindness person ever. She knows how to treat people. And because of her kind personality, she has made me a person who tells the world of this fantastic store. Love it, love it. Kayla definitely needs a raise. I look forward in seeing her smiling face every week that I now come by. #nowmy#1store

It’s 8:56 pm, the store closes at 9, I just got practically pushed out by the employee. They locked the door already so they had to unlock it for me to let me out and passive aggressively said “yep, it’s that late already.” when I stared at the door being locked. I get that people wanna go home, but why be a jerk about it? I come here every week but as long as this snide behavior is employed here I’m never coming back. We thanked him multiple times during check out and he never said a word. It must be sad to be so miserable…

Something has happened to this location recently. Worst donation experience of my life! Showed up about 5 minutes to five with the donations clerk yelling like a crazy person. Im not saying she raised her voice, she was literally yelling. I had no clue she was yelling at me until I exited the car. She kept saying what do you have in the box because I don't have time for this. I took my brand new pair of converse tennis shoes in the box and a new blouse still with tags to a resale instead. Last time I was there I was treated rudely but let it go. This time it was just too much. Taking my items to resale was a better experience than donating especially since the the cost of donating was walking away feeling like you did something to offend someone and being treated like dirt. Its a shame I have donated at this location for years.

The store was neat, clean, and organized. One of the ladies that are employed by the Goodwil store, I was fortunate enough to get to speak with and she was phenomenal. I appreciate good personnel that make you feel like they appreciate your business. I expect to be treated with respect and that's just how I was treated and welcomed at the Goodwill store in Glendora. God bless and keep you.

This Goodwill is clean, spacious and well organized, and they have friendly staff ! I found a fabulous ceramic egg ! I was able to use my 20 percent off QR code for purchases $30.00 or more since I signed up to receive Goodwill e mails for LA County locations only. This cannot be combined with other discounts. They have higher end shoes, and bags under glass. I also picked up a pair of Air Jordan's for my son. If your in the area, be sure to stop by. There is treasure to be found !

My husband and I were dropping off some clothes and shoes and the staff accepting the donations were very rude . This is not the first time I also donated a few months ago and same rude attitude. Just a reminder that kindness goes a long way no need to be rude. We ended up going to the Arcadia office and they were much nicer.

So I'm buying 3 identical items, same brand, same color & part of a set obviously donated at the same time with a green tag on sale 1/2 off that week.I go pay and cashier Phillip noticed 1 tag missing so he goes to the back to get a new tag so i can pay?...uhh what about scanning one of the other 2 identical tags twice I'm taking them anyway... whatever, maybe it's store policy and I'm not in a rush. But he comes back with a different color tag and charges me full price! Holly mother...I pointed out these were supposed to be 1/2 off and are part of a set and he said, paraphrasing: "this brand Anchor Hocking is a good brand and besides the 'pricing machine' puts out different color tags and I can't change or control the tag color that comes out".The m-fr!... re the tag color that's obviously a lie. I've shopped at Goodwill before and run into the exact same situation once before (missing tag on 1 identical item) and the cashier first got the new tag with the wrong color but then corrected it and got another tag with the right color. Philip clearly lied about the tag...or... Philip doesn't know how to operate the"pricing machine" (that's what he called it btw)And the comment about the brand? What is that supposed to mean? So Phillip decided the item was underpriced b/c of the brand and wanted to make up the difference? What does he care? Ridiculous. Is not about the money, the difference was only $6. What bothers me is how little respect Philip has for the customers and how quickly and easily he lied. It wouldn't be a problem had Philip admitted he doesn't know how to operate the 'pricing machine' b/c there's probably not much training at a minimum wage job like that. Honestly I would've sympathized with him a middle age man working for minimum wage. But Philip chose to lie. Screw him.I'll never go back to that store. Sorry for the long post.Thank you Phillip!
