Marty's Cigar & Pipe is a great cigar shop and the real deal for cigar smokers. It has a huge selection and an old fashioned atmosphere with comfy leather sofas, often with football or The Masters playing on the TV. The nice owner and staff are very helpful, knowledgeable, patient, and true gentlemen, making guests feel welcomed with Midwestern hospitality. They provide excellent expertise, recommending everything from a mild all-around cigar for beginners to pipes and tobacco pouches. They can start you off with the basics, including cigars, a small box, cutters, and a torch. It is a cool spot that brings people together for good conversation, where a group of guys can enjoy their sticks. Customers love the place and promise to return, noting there is also some sort of membership one can join.
Woody was very attentive and helpful. Went in not knowing much about cigars looking for a gift for a friend. Woody immediately put me at ease and began to work his magic creating a cigar bouquet variety based on my budget. Definitely recommend.
