Made a house call and Kyle was very professional, answered a lot of questions we had, showed up on time, and we are so far very happy with our experience with pet training.

My baby girl Brooke has done a complete 180. She sits/stay now for more than 10 minutes. Previously, maybe, 30 seconds. Walking with her has become a pleasure. The mental changes in Brooke is exciting. This training method is awesome! Thank you!

They train the dogs and the owners to reach success. Customer service is always great. The pups give it 5 Stars and great naps are had after training.

We went for training for our Maltipoo/Shih Tzu mix, Bear. From the first consultation to the final individual class, we felt like the entire staff really cared about our success as a unit. After the first session, we saw amazing results. Bear was able to hold attention and take commands pretty quickly, and although he’s still a work in progress (this will be a lifelong journey), we feel more confident as dog owners thanks to the tools we received. We are excited to jump into group classes to continue his amazing progress. It’s great to feel like you’re not only training your pet but making them feel more confident and relaxed. Bear’s reactivity to the TV and other people has gone down immensely!

Had a great experience with sit means sit! Our Doberman Tommy learned a lot starting from a puppy. He is now an off leash pup and we can enjoy hikes and public events no problem! I highly recommend! 10/10

We are so grateful that we have found Sit Means sit! If it is not for them, we would have to send our dog, Kuma, back to his breeder - we just could not handle his aggressive behavior toward people and dogs. Our dog Kuma, is a 10 months old mix of German Shepherd and Rottweiler. At three months, he was already very aggressive trying to attack people and other dogs when he had a chance. we first took him to puppy training classes and was being asked to leave the class often the instructor could not handle him; we hired a trainer to come to our home, which only lasted five lessons before our trainer determined that he is out of control and gave up on him. We were very concerned how we could be able to handle him and train him to be a friendly dog.. Until one day when Kuma's doctor had to clear out the entire room in order for Kuma to be seen. We all realized that he needed professional REAL training. Fortunately, Kuma's doctor recommended us to check out Sit Means sit., We first were not sure if it was going to work out, but decided to try it out since we have no other choices. we remember the first day when Kuma went into Sit Means sit school that he was so out of control of trying to attack everyone he seen that the manager , Kyle, had to tame him down. Only after the first day of Kuma's class that we realized a small change in him that he is listening to his trainer! During the first week of training, we also attended the class at end of the day. Learning what Kuma had learned with his trainer. It was such an eye-opening for us, the professional level and trainers understanding of Kuma's behavior and observation of other well-being dog also in class nearby very much impressed us.. we decided to put our full efforts going through the program at Sit Mean Sit..... It is now eight months since we started the program at Sit Means Sit. And we are so happy we have done it - we are so appreciative to the trainers that put so much efforts in working with our dog, and demonstrated the knowledge and care.! Frank, Kyle, Aaron are the best instructors out there and we're so fortunate to have them training our Kuma! We keep noticed the improvement during this eight months journey and every day we notice changes of Kuma, who is now very calm and fun dog. Best of all Kooma now enjoys going to the school every week and we can tell that he's very happy and his class - at his weight of 120 lbs We are now looking forward to continue the program and enjoy the journey along the way-because we know Kuma will be an excellent dog at the end!!!

I paid 750 and the trainer choked my dog out till my german shepherd dog was foaming at the mouth in my first visit. That was all I needed to see. He said he had to force the dog to see who is boss. These people use electronic shock devices and call them "modern training tools." I cannot legally call this electro shock therapy, but using electric shock therapy has been considered inhumane, and these people are using electrical current to tell the dogs no and i tested it--it hurts me a lot. So i let them keep the money and i Trained my dog with love and she is fine. I had tried to use their electric collar more kindly and every time i took it out, my dog sulked visibly and looked sad and frightened. I am proud i threw it away. By the way i had a witness with me. I hope no one hurts their dog harshly to train these wonderful and emotional animals.

Before we came across Sit Means Sit, we consulted with multiple trainers and did two different trainings. One of the trainings was treat incentivized and the second used aggressive redirection which included hard pulling on the leash and even kicking them in the stomach. I saw an ad for Sit Means Sit and decided to do the free consult. Zeus was highly reactive out of fear. Going on walks was difficult and taking him somewhere other than the park was impossible. I have the scars on my body to prove it! Blake did the consult with us and was so warm and welcoming and didn’t shame Zeus or me for our difficulties. He gave us hope. I saw a great improvement even one session in. After a few months, Zeus was able to do the group trainings without a muzzle. Now, a year later, we’re at the Sit Means Sit appreciation event and Zeus came in second in the distraction game and 5th in the silent commands game, without a muzzle! Sit Means Sit has given me and Zeus the confidence, hope, and acceptance we needed. I am definitely renewing and I already recommend this training to anyone and everyone. Thank you Sit Means Sit!

Sit Means sit helped Suki go from being a good dog to a GREAT dog! We used to have issues with keeping her attention while outside, but now she’s a off-leash girl. The weekly group classes and pack walks are very helpful for continuing her training around dogs who are at different stages in their training.

My wife and I recently got a Shiba Inu puppy and were quickly humbled by his energy, charisma, and sass.We live in the SGV, minutes away from the Sit Means Sit facility, so naturally we decided to do a consultation for training for our baby boy, Zaku. The consultation was informative, friendly, and fun. Frank was the one who walked us through the process and what kind of training schedule would fit best with our sassy Shiba.Once we decided to start training, our main trainer was Kyle and Zaku LOVES him. We love him too of course, because he gave us all the tools we needed to help Zaku be an upstanding doggy citizen. We also had a couple of classes with Aaron and really love his energy and expertise as well. He is at many of the group classes and does a great job at facilitating a good time.We (including Zaku) really love the puppy classes, private classes, and group classes! What’s so amazing about SMS SGV is that you can tell how much they truly care about the success of each and every dog!I will always be grateful for the work that Sit Means Sit Glendora has provided to our community.

Our dog Brodie has improved so much since being a Sit Means Sit dog! Before, he would pull me so hard that I would almost fall. Now, I can go on long runs with him with no issue. I was worried that he wouldn't like putting on the E-collar but it's just the opposite! SMS has made the e-collar an exciting tool for Brodie to use! We love SMS and would highly recommend them!

Odin has made such great improvements in the short time we were in training. Before, I couldn't take him on walks or anywhere with too many people because he would get overwhelmed, bark and pull me. Sit Means Sit helped me correct this behavior and now, we can go to parks and I can trust him to not react. I have so much trust in my ability to handle him now, it gives me so much peace of mind . Highly recommend Sit Means Sit if you have a reactive dog!!!!
