My parents are fraud and identity theft victims totaling $71,000. Their representative at US Bank Glendora, Daniel Gascon, said the fraud liaison would email the fraud claim application to both my father and me, their daughter. Once they completed it, he said, he offered to fax it to the their fraud liaison on their behalf. But I did it myself. Today, though, I got the police report and wanted to fax that. I realized I forgot to write down the Fraud Liaison's number before leaving home, so I called Daniel for it. "Oh, I don't have their fax number," he said. "They have different departments." Actually they only have ONE FAX NUMBER! US Bank also denied my parents' claim before receiving their original claim paperwork! They provided my email address to them, but misspelled it, resulting in a one week delay of them acquiring the fraud claim application. They got a letter saying US Bank did nothing wrong, because they "verified the thief's identity, along with my father's," implying my dad sent the money to himself. The thief used IDENTITY THEFT to get my father's information without his knowledge! And now the police investigator says US Bank refuses to cooperate with him, although Daniel said they had to file a police report to legitimize their claim. US Bank protecting criminals - and themselves. Yet there is no distinguishing the two at this point. I am mailing the police report WITH TRACKING through USPS to prove US Bank receives it ASAP. I hate this lazy and evasive bank!
