Best RV Resort ever! Beautiful trees and great spots. Great environment and awesome staff. We will always return to this park when enjoying Northern California trips. The spots are easy to access and get your rv parked. There is a very nice hiking path down to the creek, excellent views along the way. It is worth going out of your way to stay at this one of a kind gem. Met some very amazing people during our stay here and the owners are great and take excellent care of the facilities and forest surrounding the park.

A quiet park in the towering evergreens....The staff is helpful & accommodating.....If wifi is an absolute must for you some of the coverage is spotty due to the trees....There is a convenience store, gas station close by.... There are some long term residents there, however, they are friendly, cordial, and their units are neat and well cared for....

We really enjoyed our stay, and everyone was very friendly, but the showers (2) are very old and they really need to be updated. They do have Wi-Fi, but it didn’t work for us.

My husband and I are touring the US (8 months) and stopped in Dutch Flat for the night. We have Passport America Membership and on PA website the price shows $27.00. We were charged $37 as they stated an additional $10 for electric. We’ve never been charged more than what PA site says. When we checked in our receipt was for $37, however we noticed our credit card was charged $54. We had to take it back to the office and they gave us $17 in cash back. Had we not noticed the difference in prices, we feel we would have been overcharged. It is posted throughout the park “no bonfires.” It was shortly after we set up, they began burning pine needles in the park. The needles created a dense white fog throughout the park. I spoke with the manager regarding the dense smoke because I have COPD, she advised me they were doing it for fire prevention. Although I respect that, I have a health issue that can not tolerate smoke. Why were we not told that when we called that afternoon to make reservations. We certainly would not have stayed there. Thinking the smoke would lessen, it didn’t. Once it got dark we were not able to leave There is no lighting in the park and the drive is uneven, curvy and graveled. I had difficulty breathing and coughing all night until we left at 9 am. The park is advertised as a resort but it is actually a park where people are living full time in their travel trailers & fifth wheels, only a few sites for travelers. Since people are full-timers, there is stuff everywhere. They allow large dogs to walk around unleashed and we had two piles of dog p*** on our site. Someone did call and left a voice mail while we were out to eat to apologize for the smoke. No explanation or apology with help someone who is having breathing issues and coughing. My intent for this review is to inform those thinking about staying at this park about my experience . I want to warn others with health issues so they are aware these issues existed and can choose for themselves.I had submitted a Google Review for DF RV Resort, based on the experience of my stay in my RV on their property, for a fee I paid. If I can help one person with any health issues not go thru what I went thru, several days in bed, my review was what it was intended to be, helpful and honest. I have not told people to not go to this park, I have given factual information for the readers to decide if this is a good fit for any and all conditions they may have. Your response that is now deleted is very unprofessional and a reason to loose business. We have been blessed to be able to travel extensively and we have stayed in hundreds of RV parks. I do give higher reviews where warranted. In no way do I take pleasure in giving bad reviews, but I make no apology for giving honest reviews. You attempted to bribe me and I turned the bribe down. Had I taken the bribe, my concern was you didn't learn anything. It clearly shows you did not, so my concern was valid. You recently contacted me and asked me to delete my review for a full refund. When bribing did not work, you resort to libel and defamation of character in hopes that I would take the post down. Had you actually come to our RV several times, you should have caught us to discuss the issue. In my review, I acknowledged your call and leaving a message of apology, but no other message was left. We did not hear from you until I gave Google a review. Acknowledge your part and learn from your mistakes. I sincerely wish you the best, the business that you oversee the best, but you have to take accountability for your part. I will not take ownership in the part you played in my review. To date, I have not heard any acknowledgement of how or what you could do better, both for yourself and your staff. Your unkind words of telling me you were not a Health and Wellness Center was certainly not warranted. If you don't want to hear the truth, you should not post a review option. Also if you are burning, those that are calling for making same day reservations, make them aware, tell them the truth. Truth always pre

Beyond the meticulous management of the park, the facilities, the welcoming atmosphere, lies a dedicated stewardship of the land. A beautiful dedication spanning generations of stewardship. We were here during the blizzard when all roads including interstate were closed. The owners were here every day, plowing the park and keeping our road to the store open. We have been travelling 8 years now. This is the best of all!

Disclaimer: I have not actually stayed there however seems nice. The manager seems very friendly and called me back to answer my questions right away being within an hour. I talked to a few long-term linemen and they seem to like it. Looks like a good spot if you like ATV, Motocross, and other offroad sports. Be mindful if it's windy. Lots of California drought stricken pine trees. Not only widow makers but forest fires to. Just keep in mind where you are staying and enjoy the beautiful Sierra Nevada Mountains.

We were passing through the area and needed to get off the road. I called and spoke with Laurie. Even though they didn't have space, she offered up a dry camping spot inside the resort gate. I took it. I arrived around 10pm, I saw there was a swimming pool and the resort looked clean. Laurie had told me where to park and I located the spot without an issue. There were a lot of full timers in the park, most appeared to be working in the area. Loni, the manager, told me most of the full timers were linemen for PG&E and had brought their families for their long stays. It worked out well, my family felt safe, so it was worth the $25. The 76 station nearby had fresh coffee and I fueled up before heading out. I'd definitely stay at Dutch Flat RV Resort again.

This quickly became a home away from home, for our family. The staff are super welcoming & friendly! The rates are great! The park is conveniently next to a fuel station with a mini mart! Plus the atmosphere at the park was quiet and simply the best! Also, the outdoor pool kept us cool during those crazy hot summer days! Loved this place & can't wait to come back & visit!

Prices are way out of line for what you get as far as RV’s go. Plus they want you to pay to dump your RV, lol. Every real RV resort or campgrounds we have stayed at has real hook up (power, water and sewer) at a minimum that is included with nightly, weekly or monthly rate. Which is much cheaper than what Dutch Flats is asking you to pay for a spot of dirt that is close to a gas station…. Well lets call it what it really is, a truck stop. So keep looking you can and will find much better places to stay.

I did not stay at Dutch Flat but did go there to dump our RV. Lois was very friendly and helpful. From what I could tell the RV park was well maintained and what a great location... right off 80 and close to all of what the Western Sierra has to offer. We will for sure add this to our list of parks to stay at.
