After waiting far longer than was estimated, I was charged three times what we talked about for repair. I won’t be returning.

I walked into Baroness Jewelers with the hope of having my wedding ring resized, cleaned up and some watches sized. I ended up with an amazing experience and a new found respect for knowledgeable and caring jewelers. The mother daughter duo of Julia and Ilene are the perfect team. Not only was my experience with these lovely ladies wonderful, it was also a lot of fun. The expertise, knowledge and care that Julia showed when resizing and cleaning my wedding ring was extraordinary. As this ring has family heirlooms in it, I was hesitant to leave it with just anyone. However, after speaking with Julia and Ilene for less than 15 minutes I easily left my ring in their care. When I picked up my ring, it was stunning! The ring looked better and brighter than when I had it made 16 years ago. I couldn't ask for a better experience than the one I had at Baroness Jewelers and am excited every time I have a chance to stop by and peruse the beautiful selections of jewelry, if not just for a quick chat. I can't give Julia and Ilene at Baroness Jewelers high enough praise for their honesty, professionalism and talent in all things jewelry.

I brought in 2 rings to have them resized and was pleasantly surprised at Ilene and Julia’s warm hearted friendliness and helpfulness. Not only did Julia resize the rings, but she made them sparkle and shine from the new design and perfect cleaning! I am more than impressed. Julia is not only an artist, but has a great eye on how jewelry should look. The store is full of amazing designs and stunning jewelry. This is the place to find your next piece for yourself or a gift.

I had my 30 year old Rolex gold watch completely refinished, both inside and out by Julia and she did a fabulous job. It looks like it just landed on my wrist 30 years ago. She is terrific who takes tremendous care in making sure her work is extraordinary. and spectacular! I could not be happier ?

This place is terrible. They shouldn’t have a very typical store front. Apparently they are by invite only. Tried to get a watch band adjusted and was told they “weren’t actually open” and to come back in an hour. No, thanks. I’ll go to a real place instead.

Well, where to begin? That one gold star I needed to hit in order TO WARN good women/men about the slickest CROOK I've ever had the displeasure of dealing with.. is worth it I guess.Julia appears to be the owner, and a more amazing Covert Narcissist I've Never met. I stopped in with gorgeous multi-Garnet earrings in a gold setting, (a gift, thank heaven) to place them on consignment, as I was traveling thru the area. I called in 2 years later to get them returned to me as I had never heard back whether they were sold. I must have called 8 times, to get them sent up to my home in the Northwest.Procrastination is king with her..Speaking with her is unbelievably pleasing, as she compliments and compliments some more. She had told me about a year ago that she cleaned (refurbished) the already clean earrings for $50. She finally agreed to send them to me and I was willing to give the $50 plus shipping costs. TODAY Julia said the cost to return them was going to be about $200. I didn't argue as she told me there was a signed contract that stated any cleaning would be $100. I have no copy of the contract, so that is illegal. (It's $25-$50 to clean earrings) Also, the shipping charges are $100? for tiny, light $600 precious gem earrings? All in all, my sense of humor kicked in and I will tell her to "KEEP THEM darling, and wear them in good health" realizing I was dealing with a Truly Professional Crook..If this looks like defamation, so be it. I study law, and she wouldn't have a case or standing; and I'm not interested in pursuing small claims in Kangaroo Courts.Have an awesome Spring and learn from my story!

Walking into Baroness is like walking back in time. A mother and a daughter, who put their name and their heart into their work. I like supporting local businesses and I like supporting women owned businesses. I was happy that Julia could fix a watch that other people refused to look at, I get all my repairs done here because I know it will be be done right. Julia and Ilene designed my engagement ring I still cannot believe I got to take home with me. The total jaw drop.

I just picked up a custom made man's diamond ring that my wife commissioned for my 60th Birthday. I had a vision of what I wanted, and Julia was able to translate my vision into reality. With her attention to detail and the little extras she included, the final result was stunning and far exceeded my expectations. This is the gift of a lifetime! I would highly recommend Julia and Ilene Baroni at Baroness Jewelers if you're looking to create something truly unique and special. This program only allows five stars, otherwise I'd give more!!

Our experience to get an engagement ring from Julia at Baroness Jewelers was an absolutely wild ride. To begin, we came in with a diamond already that I inherited and my fiance had already drawn out a rough design. Julia offered a $200 consultation that would go over the basic design, fit my finger, and come up with a proposal. She said that the consultation would be folded into the final price should we go with her work (hint - it wasn't - she tried to charge us for this consultation at the end). Our consultation a few weeks later was almost 3 hours long - we came in with a design already, and the only meaningful things that came out of the meeting were her sizing my finger and giving us an estimate. We decided to move forward, loving the examples of the work she showed us. It was like pulling teeth trying to get her to agree to a price and write it down. I was uneasy with the price but loved her work enough to go with her anyways. I can't stress enough how high I thought her price was despite us already having the diamond. We had even interviewed several other jewelers in town to get quotes. For the next 6 months, my partner and I met with Julia at least five different times to go through the design. We thought the ring would be ready in 6 to 8 months, so we started applying more and more pressure for her to complete the design and move on to production. Here are some absolutely bizarre things that happened during this time:- We asked for green side stones and told her we would be fine with lab-grown emeralds. She insisted we get real ones. Then a couple months later told me the ones I had selected from her were actually fake costume jewelry. When my partner called her to talk about this she went back to saying they were real. I still don't know what kind of stones are in the ring.- She went up in cost multiple times throughout the process.- She sent my ring away to be "certified" despite me asking her not to. When she gave us the ring at the end, she did not produce any certification, despite trying to charge us for it.- She used a different metal than what we asked for/agree to initially.- She tried to sell us other items relentlessly despite being months behind schedule.- She tried to charge us for "expedited shipping" and for the consultation IN CASH when my partner went in to pick up the ring and pay the final cost. It was extremely sketchy. Finally, after 8 months, she gave my partner the ring. It's beautiful- nobody can take away that she is an extremely talented jeweler. That is the only reason I'm not giving her 1 star. However, Julia is one of the most difficult people I've ever worked with on anything. She's long winded, conniving, and lies frequently. Most of our meetings consisted of her complimenting her own work and trying to get me to buy more things. Despite her talents, I would strongly suggest getting your jewelry made elsewhere. This place is simply not worth the hassle.

This is a late review but thought I'd share. I went in on new years Eve to get my watch fitted and the ladies who work there are so sweet. I unfortunately don't remember the name of the one who helped me but she was so quick and fitted my watch in less that 15 mins. I will definitely go back if I have any other needs like that. Such sweet ladies!

I came in to get a watch battery. There was one woman working who said it would take about 30 minutes to an hour. It was $20 which seemed expensive for a Timex watch but I paid as I was in a hurry. (I think I have paid $10 in the past). Maybe COVID prices? She also noticed and admired my wedding ring and asked to inspect it and said it was missing prongs and in bad shape. She gave me an estimate of $650 to replace the prongs. I will shop the ring repair around but I did feel uneasy when she also encouraged me to drop my 2 carat ring with her for the repair that day but let me know they don't give receipts. I felt uncomfortable with that arrangement and won't be having her fix it. But I did appreciate her inspecting the ring as she was right and I could have lost my diamond.

The first time I visited the Baroness Jewelry store it was locked and closed on a Saturday. I called and left a message. A lady named Julia called back the following Tuesday. After I told her about the bracelet I would like to have the clasp changed she said she could see me with a $20 fee for consultation, deductible for work done. Not a problem with me.The appointment was set at 1pm today but when I arrived I could see three ladies inside chatting. I rang the door bell and Julia came to the door and obviously had forgotten about the appointment. She told me her previous appointment was running longer and told me to go home and wait for her call. Yes, you guessed it : No call. This is a bad sign. I will not entrust my jewelry with this store and it’s owner.

Wonderful place run by an awesome Armenian family. They are solid people. I really didn't expect to buy both my fiance and my ring through them when I walked into their store, but sure enough, that's what happened. The owner, Rafi, is very gifted and made some nice alterations to fit my fiance's wedding band around her engagement ring so she can wear both.I will say this, guys, it's a good idea to bring your fiance in with you. Rafi can come across as a hard negotiator, especially on other guys. Having your fiance will soften the tone.
